  1. This. I posted this yesterday after hearing Beane's presser. The Bill simply didn't value Edmunds the way that many here do. If they thought he was worth the investment long term, they would have done so last year--at a cheaper price than the Bears coughed up. When they chose not to last off-season, they tipped their hand. They were prepared to move on all season.
  2. Pegula threatened to move the team if he didn't get this stadium built for him...
  3. You keep missing the poster's point: the Bills should have been able to handle a cobbled together O-line of backups even missing Miller (for example), as they had done 6 games prior. They were winning with backups--and undefeated without Miller.
  4. Bills won 6 games in a row without Miller. Then they got pantsed by backups vs. Cincy. Therefore it wasn't because they were missing Miller. That was the context.
  5. Miller was gone before December. The Bills went 6-1 without him.
  6. Lol….the 50 year old Frank Gore comp. get out of here with this. He’s a 50 yard a game RB1. 16 CAREER TDs, 3100 yards entering his 5th season. Stop
  7. I mean, yeah. but then there are the other 364 days we must imbibe...
  8. Listening to Beane's pressor, 2 things seemed likely 1. the were never going to re-sign Edmunds. When they didn't last year (for likely much less than 18 per), that was basically it. He said the 18 million average was too much this year... 2. McKenzie is gone.
  9. Guy explodes his patellar tendon after leaping 6 inches off the ground. As a group, is there a more poorly conditioned major sports league athlete than the MLB player in March?
  10. I recommend the Negroni then...
  11. Panthers let their #1 go over 3 million?
  12. Who is going to utilize their WR3/4 over their 1/2? Makes no sense. He's not "terrible". I described his contribution and what very little it cost the Bills in cash. His output is clearly disproportionate to his salary. And....in the face of this, you staked out a very weak and tired take and now you are doubling down with nothing but "he's terrible" and that he didn't beat out (somebody) for the slot job. Then you threw in the corpse of Beasley for some reason and added Shakir, who caught 50% of his targets for 161 yards on 275 snaps as guys who were better last season. Very persuasive.
  13. McKenzie has made 5.9 million over 5 seasons with the Bills. In 2023, he would account for under 8% of the total WR annual salary for the team. For that money last year, he accounted for 20% of the TDs scored by WRs, 24% of targets and 19% of catches. That's "extremely overpaid"?
  14. He had 94 targets to Diggs 154. He made the most of the balls he caught with a whopping 18 YPC. Diggs, on the other hand, from Thanksgiving to the end of the Bengals game (9 games) tallied only 2 100 yard games and 4 TDs (only 1 TD in the final 7 games)---as the Bills #1 WR.
  15. I'm well on record as a dispassionate supporter of Gabe Davis. The drops cloud too many minds. He had his best season yet. OBJ had a similar catch % the last year he played, similar yardage and has blown out his knee twice and wants laughable money for a guy literally on his last leg. Hopkins, however, is another story...
  16. what about them?
  17. the Chiefs make a living winning SBs and then dumping O-linemen. Why are poster wailing over a freaking LT going to the Jets? With or without Rodgers, he won't matter.
  18. I highly recommend this: musubi. easy to make.
  19. spam was my choice
  20. I almost feel like I read this last off-season when they picked up OJ Howard nearly exactly a year ago....
