  1. During Lynch's last 1.5 seasons with Bills , wasn't he averaging less than 3.5 ypc while Fred was around 4.5 ypc? 3.5 ypc is terrible. That's why Total yardage is an incomplete picture for an RB. Have to see how productive he is for each carry .
  2. The Ravens won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer . The Bucs won one with Brad Johnson. Jets made two AFC championships with Sanchize . Giants beat us in the Super Bowl with Hostetler . So your broad generalization doesn't hold water.
  3. If you have a turnstile offensive line and aging or ineffective RBs with a defense that regularly can stop an opponent, you may want to lean towards punting despite what stats say. On the other hand, if you had a stout offensive line like Dallas with a Demarco Murray with a questionable defense, you may lean towards going for it on 4th and 1.
  4. Thats just like saying Tebow was an NFL QB because he was on the Jets or Pats roster in his final years. Im not in the NFL but Im better at what I do than EJ is as a QB.
  5. Nah. Im older than you though. Not surprised by your response as you are the other EJ prime over here. You have to face it. He is not an NFL QB. And the Bills will likely be looking for alternatives in offseason.
  6. I would expect no less from an EJ lover lol.
  7. Skelton is available for nothing right now isn't he?
  8. It's like the emperor's new clothes. Only 4merper4mer can see what we can't .
  9. The Bengals have had a very talented defense and offense. This year they had injury issues going into playoffs but not in previous seasons. Dalton is just not clutch.
  10. Would we get to play the Bengals with 41 injuries every week? There are a number of bad QBs out there that some folks here continue to tout. Luck is not one of them though. He is pretty legit.
  11. Was traveling so didn't get to watch the Steelers game. They are one and done again this year unfortunately after making it back into playoffs. Did karma win out ? Seems like the Steelers actually just couldn't convert at the critical junctures based on stats .
  12. No one denies the big numbers out up by Griffin in his rookie year. What people will debate though is his "greatness" that was ruined by injury as you like to tout. I posit that he was never great and that he's one and done because of a gimmick offense that was not sustainable (see other read option baby named Kaepernick) . If he can't adjust to running an offense like a traditional drop back QB, he will be no more than a footnote in history.
  13. Yah what did those completions consist of ? Mainly passes to wide open receivers and simple screen passes that were done out of a read option. That's really hard to do. What does RGIII look like now that he is trying to be a pocket Qb? How horrible.
  14. What was he great at exactly?
  15. So how many Super Bowls have the Eagles made or won with Peters? Have the Eagles even gone deep into playoffs? How many teams have played in Super Bowls with mediocre tackles in recent years? Peters is talented for sure but he is not the type of difference maker people should be pining about.
  16. Have you been smoking too much from the pipe? Since you claim to know so much about contract negotiations , what special clauses typically go in when there is possibility of an ownership change ? Golden parachutes come to mind?
  17. Does this mean we might also see Dr. Trooth hop back on the bandwagon once the Steelers are done with playoffs ?
  18. Take a look at Cowher's win loss ratio and playoff appearances with and without LeBeau. I say no thanks .
  19. Comparing EJ to Drew Brees is just absurd. EJ looked lost and overwhelmed . The game will never slow down for him.
  20. Unless there is some miraculous improvement in EJ's play, I really doubt it.
  21. I'm still scratching my head on this one. Chris Polian has been a pretty mediocre football executive so why would we want him.
  22. You may have no idea. But am pretty sure the coaches did
  23. Which team that cannot run the ball decently is a strong Super Bowl contender?
  24. Amazing isn't it that despite a revolving door at QB , they may get in .
