Jones, who played college football at Arkansas, said that he has had “50 concussions.” He then joked that, if he hadn’t suffered so many blows to the head, he would have been the President of the U.S. instead of the owner of the Cowboys.
(that explains alot).....laffin.

i love Peyton....but, all Peyton's records should have an "*" asterik next to them.....for playing in a dome.
Joe Montana's postseason record: 16-7, 4 titles. Tom Brady's postseason record: 14-4, three titles. Peyton Manning's? A paltry 9-10 with one title.
check his playoff record....check his record in open air stadiums....

INDIANAPOLIS – For all the discussion over Peyton Manning’s future with the Indianapolis Colts, the underlying issue is that people close to him don’t believe he’ll resume his career.
The nerves in Manning’s arm are not healing as quickly as hoped and, worse, don’t appear to be progressing at enough of a rate to indicate that he will play again, according to two sources with knowledge of Manning’s rehabilitation from neck surgery. The vertebrae in his neck that were fused have healed as expected and Manning began throwing in December. But he hasn’t shown improvement in velocity on his passes, and the two sources fear he likely never will again.

Report: Peyton hits a plateau:
Two unnamed “league-affiliated doctors with experience in spinal fusion surgery” tell Cole that it could take up to a year for Manning to know if he can return to action.

The 35-year-old quarterback hasn't practiced since having a spinal fusion Sept. 8. The surgery was intended to repair a damaged nerve in his neck that caused weakness in his throwing arm. It was Manning's third neck surgery in 19 months and the most risky and complicated of the three.

my friend had "spinal fusion" surgery in October of 2010 (15 months ago) and he still aint right. There is no way in hell Peyton risks taking a "hit" at anytime in the 2012 season. Peyton has all the money he needs, as i have previously stated for months, he will RETIRE before he plays another NFL game.
NONE.......Peyton is DONE.....he will never play again....
Colts will cut Peyton before the $28 mil bonus is due. Irsay will then claim, he wants Peyton back "IF" healthy (all PR double talk).
Peyton will continue to rehab, but his neck will never be healthy enough to risk further injury. Peyton will RETIRE.
assuming the draft falls the way you have here......
i would pick Jonathan Martin OT Stanford.....
i don't like Upshaw....he is slowwwwww and has short arms.
don't be surprised if Lee is a Patriot next year.....Ochostinko will be gone and lee is the type of player they look for. older veteran willing to play for cheap searching for a ring.
ALL-PRO level talent is worth much more than a single first round pick.
Fred Jackson in my mind is at All-Pro level.
i would NOT trade Fred Jackson for a first round pick.....
in fact, i would trade MY first round pick for any All-Pro at any position.
casting is already underway......

It's Official: According to the ESPN Sports Poll, Tim Tebow is now America's favorite active pro athlete.

Romeo Crennel just got another gig as HC for KC.....having said that, Racism is alive and kicking in all walks of life, sure it's getting better, singling out the NFL is misguided as the NFL does an outstanding job regarding minority hiring and opportunities.
#1- Sanchez' deep throw accuracy is horrible...possibly worst in league.
#2- as a result, Shottenheimer was reluctant to call deep throws.
#3- which led to wide receiver revolt....
#4- you gotta blow the thing up...including Sanchez.
work for cheap ?.....i doubt Jax owner has any interest in paying $10 mil/year for Fisher, Cowher, Gruden, etc....
at least Ralph tried to pay $10 mil...but was turned down.....lol
