I predict the dougs wait until the Minnesota game to start Orton. if and when they make that move, Orton better win or the dougs are done. that easier stretch of games gives Orton a better chance to succeed.

Orton 2 years/ 5 games with Dallas. Orton Passer Rating 95.5 that would put him in the Top 15 of 2014 Orton will play better than EJ. this division is still in play. it is wrong to let EJ "develop" at the expense of this season.

you start Orton at Detroit. not the best place to start Orton, but so what. sink or swim. the season is not lost yet. it will be if you stick with EJ until the bye week. if your an Orton fan, the best scenario is to give EJ det & NE. then give Orton the min, nyj, kc, mia, nyj, cle stretch of games.

#1- QB situation - stayed ALL-IN with EJ, Thad & Tuel. brought in Orton so late missed all of camp and preseason. this alone will doom the both of them. #2- Traded away next years #1 draft pick. mortgaged the future. #3- Traded away Stevie Johnson yet carry $10 million in salary cap DEAD MONEY. #4- replaced the 70th ranked LG with the 65th ranked LG. #5- stood pat at TE by resigning a mediocre receiving TE Chandler who can't block. #6- got totally played by Jairus Byrd's agent. lost your ALL-Pro player for nothing in return. #7- questionable 2nd round 2014 pick. #8- Coaching - team undisciplined as evidenced by penalties. #9- Coaching - clock and timeout mismanagement. #10- Coaching - OL can't pick up stunts. the two dougs are GONE after the season. Russ survives for one more year then Kim takes over.

if Kyle Orton can't play better than EJ, they wasted $5 mil. this QB mess is ALL on Whaley.

the NFLPA objects to the powers they gave Goodell in the most recent CBA where he dishes out the punishment AND he also handles the appeals. they are trying every way possible to change that. for everyones sake, someone else should handle the original punishment and Goodell should only handle the appeals.

one QB played a half a game....and your mind is made up. another QB played 13 games ....and that's proof of nothing.

every statistical measure about football has warts. QBR has less than most.

pay attention. EJ is MEDIOCRE.....he doesn't suck. EJ will NEVER be a Franchise QB (Top 10). EJ's upside is about Top 20.

maybe that poet you like can shed some light on the QB situation. or maybe QBR takes into account when a QB isn't smart enough to avoid a sack by unloading the ball because he can't make his reads fast enough, turns around and loses yards via a sack trying to escape pressure. btw, both 8.4 and 13.9 suck
