  1. that's gonna take some getting used to
  2. What does Bill Belichick's son do for the Patriots? "Bill is a demanding guy," said running backs coach Ivan Fears. "All I'm going say is, just like anything else, whether Steve is the son or anybody else, if he's working for Bill, Bill is a demanding coach. Steve is learning, he's doing a hell of a job. That's got be a little tough for him, but I'm not going to go any further than that." Pressed for details on Steve's daily duties, Fears laughed out loud: "I ain't getting into that one!" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000465322/article/what-does-bill-belichicks-son-do-for-the-patriots
  3. The Daily Show opened Thursday night by skewering the NFL for how it's handling Marshawn Lynch at Super Bowl media week. Jon Stewart's commentary cut right to the heart of the matter. You know how the league is talking about fining Lynch for his hat? "Classic NFL for being more worried about what's on top of a player's head than what's going on inside of it." - http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2015/1/30/7950679/daily-show-marshawn-lynch-nfl-beast-mode-deflategate-super-bowl-seahawks-patriots
  4. NFL says Solder touchdown play was illegal "There was an issue on that play where on the previous play, [Cameron] Fleming had reported as an eligible player," Blandino said. "And on the Solder touchdown he went back to playing an ineligible position. That’s illegal. That’s an illegal substitution. So that’s something we discussed with the crew. Bill [belichick] was made aware of it. So we’re going to be looking for that, make sure we follow the proper mechanics so that doesn’t happen again." For Fleming to go from an eligible player to an ineligible player, by rule, he would have had to sit out one play (unless there was a timeout, a penalty, or it was the end of a quarter) before returning to the field. http://www.csnne.com/blog/patriots-talk/nfl-says-solder-touchdown-play-was-illegal?p=ya5nbcs&ocid=yahoo Confusion continues about refs signaling Patriots’ ineligible receivers http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/30/confusion-continues-about-refs-signaling-patriots-ineligible-receivers/
  5. Confusion continues about refs signaling Patriots’ ineligible receivers NFL head of officiating Dean Blandino said there’s nothing new for Belichick to check out: Carroll misunderstood, and there is no new signal. It’s unclear where Carroll got that idea, as he said on Thursday morning that he was informed by the league that the officials were changing the way they officiate when the Patriots run trick plays. “The new signal is the referee will point to the player that has the eligible number and he’ll signal that he is not eligible. That’s the new thing. They’ve never done that before,” Carroll said. So where did Carroll get that idea? It’s unclear, but Super Bowl referee Bill Vinovich seemed to have the same idea. Vinovich and Blandino had an awkward moment in front of the press when Blandino told Vinovich that he shouldn’t tell the defense which ineligible receivers not to cover, something that came as news to Vinovich. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/30/confusion-continues-about-refs-signaling-patriots-ineligible-receivers/
  6. don't be so hard on talley....he was hung over from partying all week.
  7. For the second time in three nights, the New England Patriots were awoken in their hotel by a false fire alarm. On Tuesday, the alarm sounded at 1:30 a.m. for approximately 10 minutes. The incident was deemed an “anomaly” by the hotel according to Jeff Darlington, and was quickly forgotten amid the hustle and bustle of media day. But Thursday morning, the alarm sounded once more. This time coming just before 5 a.m., which is really the worst time. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/01/people-keep-pulling-the-fire-alarm-in-the-patriots-hotel-in-the-middle-of-the-night

  9. 4 straight AFC Championships is NOT a failure....it is a smashing success.
  10. she can also melt your popsicle...
  11. Marshawn Lynch finally opened up at a press conference Thursday. Instead of repeating one phrase, he came out with a statement lambasting media, and questioning why reporters continue to show up though he doesn't give them any content. "Shout out to my real Africans out there" - Marshawn Lynch http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/1/29/7945561/marshawn-lynch-press-conference-shoutouts-superbowl interesting that it was reported earlier in the season that Marshawn & percy harvin didn't think Russell Wilson was black enough.
  12. love kurt. he should have stayed on the high road.
  13. who needs proof...... it's the Pats, they must be guilty of something.....(sarcasm)
  14. what a cutie. katy tells a story of when she was a little girl she would pray every night for boobs big enough that she couldn't see her feet. now jokingly says she didn't realize they would fall into her armpits. anyways, she is a great choice for the halftime show. so many of her songs are about uplifting empowerment.
  15. he is out of position in rex's defense. to small to play DE and not a LB.
  16. #1- the PATS cheated, got caught and should pay a very heavy price. loss of multiple draft picks, a huge fine and if possible a reduction in salary cap. #2- goodell should and i think will lose his job over this. he betrayed the trust of one single owner in a failed sting operation when he should have known it was a league wide problem and sent a strong letter to ALL 32 club saying cease and desist tampering with air pressure, we are watching. #3- i think low air pressure does help lower the fumble rate. i think a bigger reason NE fumbles less is the emphasis placed on roster spots given to players known to fumble less, playing time based on protecting the ball, coaching emphasis and practice habits/drills. #4- for me, tampering with football air pressure is like sneaking in juiced baseballs or corked bats. the arguement that almost everyone does it , must be factored in.
  17. PHOENIX -- Former NFL quarterback Jeff Blake says he oversaw the deflation of footballs on the sideline right before games during his career. Speaking on "The Midday 180" out of Nashville, Blake said the practice was common."I'm just going to let the cat of the bag, every team does it, every game, it has been since I played," Blake said. "'Cause when you take the balls out of the bag, they are rock hard. And you can't feel the ball as well. It's too hard. Everybody puts the pin in and lets just enough air out of the ball that you can feel it a little better. But it's not the point to where it's flat. "So I don't know what the big deal is. It's not something that's not been done for 20 years." http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12244290/ex-quarterback-jeff-blake-deflating-footballs-common
  18. severe social anxiety disorder ???? also known as avoiding answering why you are a piece of chit for a human being. i find it hard to believe those who admire his antics would want their children to behave the same. dude ran over a lady and left her for dead. drives around drunk putting the public at risk. gets off stealing twenty dollars from star struck fans. illegal gun possession. he is a disgrace. but because he can run with a football, it's all good. i wanna puke.
  19. best of both worlds.... place the stadium on the cobblestone site and use the south park site for parking and tailgating. the cobblestone site is much closer to the rest of downtown hotels, existing parking ramps, pegulaville, etc....
  20. if they were on the same team with the same QB.....sammy is the #1.
  21. he's a great player.....assuming he's healthy he will have success where ever he goes for a couple more years.....more than likely he winds up on a team with a decent O-line. i'll cheer against him wherever he is.
  22. he won't even be on seattle next year.... the idiot will hold out for more money and wind up getting eased out by seattle because they will now have cap problems. regrettably some other team will take him.
  23. Marshawn Lynch is a piece of chit excuse for a human being. Richard Sherman is a well spoken, intelligent, witty, thought provoking Stanford graduate and all around nice guy , who also by the way enjoys some trash talking.
