  1. i can't stand the guy. he was a piece of chit in buffalo and he still is. easy to cheer against.
  2. the PATS by a wide margin. marshawn has been fined $100,000. he can expect another $100,000 for the hat. the pats will be fined at least $1 MILLION.
  3. their decision has everything to do with getting it right. it just so happens it's also convienent that it will take weeks to thoroughly investigate (see mueller/ ray rice report). according to Bill Poilian, NFL executive vice president Jeff Pash is the perfect guy to lead the investigation. he is above reproach. Goodell does not need to see evidence that rises to the level of a criminal court. he can simply use his common sense (what's left of it) to dish out punishment. i say this because his botched sting operation will cost him his job. he betrayed the trust of one single owner trying to set a trap, when he should have known this was a league wide problem and sent a letter to all 32 teams saying stop this now, we are watching.
  4. absolutely wait til after SB. in fact, we will be lucky if the league concludes it's findings by Feb 15th.
  5. does this skew the fumbling chart of a player doing better for the Pats vs other teams ??.....(laffin)
  6. ''Our message has been the same here from Day 1 that ball security is of the highest priority for anybody that handles the ball,'' Belichick said in a conference call with reporters on Friday. ''There can be no mistake about that message. That message has been delivered ad nauseam.'' http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Belichick-Ball-security-is-the-highest-priority-40523667
  7. and yet we have players coming from other teams who say the patriots do more in this area. guess you will just dismiss anything that doesn't fit your agenda.
  8. thanks...i needed some help... here's some more ammo Patriots say there’s nothing suspicious about their ball security: Not according to the players on the Patriots, who instead say that they simply go through so many ball control drills that they have become the best team in the league at holding onto the ball. “I can definitely tell that the coaching and the drills that we do within the spring and the offseason and camp and OTAs have really paid off for a lot of guys,” Patriots receiver Danny Amendola said. “We take a lot of drills that we do within the week, within practice, and take them to the field. We do a lot of drills that really benefit that.” Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount has fumbled three times in his 219 career touches as a Patriot (a little less frequently than his 10 fumbles in 518 career touches when playing with the Buccaneers and Steelers), and he says that in New England the coaches always make a big deal about ball security. “We put a heavy emphasis on keeping the football,” Blount said. “We practice holding the football, we have the defense punch at the football a lot extra more than probably most teams do. We do everything to emphasis ball security because like I said, you can’t win the game without the ball.” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/27/patriots-say-theres-nothing-suspicious-about-their-ball-security/
  9. i was listening to bill polian saturday morning on some satellite radio show. he said if he was advising marshawn.....he would tell him to just show up and keep repeating the same pat answer like bill belichick does when he answers "on to cincinnati" and see what the nfl does then.
  10. i've been hacked...(laffin)...but i'm serious....i didn't send you anything...it wasn't me...
  11. During the annual Super Bowl media day, Lynch answered every question with some variation of "I'm here so I won't get fined." He occasionally changed the delivery but stuck to his script. Lynch stayed at his designated podium for 4 minutes, 51 seconds -- over an hour less than all his teammates and coaches -- and was asked 29 questions. At the 4:51 mark, he said "time," stood up and walked away from the microphone. Lynch had been threatened with a $500,000 fine by the NFL if he failed to make himself available on media day, a league source told ESPN's Ed Werder. An NFL Players Association executive monitored Lynch's appearance Tuesday. About 200 reporters crowded around Lynch's podium for at least 15 minutes before he arrived. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2014/story/_/id/12237417/marshawn-lynch-seattle-seahawks-uses-same-answer-repetition-super-bowl-media-day-here-get-fined
  12. therefore, peyton is a cheater.....(sarcasm)
  13. scott pioli departs and BB takes over 53 man roster
  14. must be that crack analytics department...
  15. no doubt in my mind they cheated. just like there is no doubt in my mind that coaching emphasis, playing time and player personnel decisions have contributed to low turnovers.
  16. or maybe BB decided 5 years ago he would part ways with players who fumble.
  17. in this case, richard is taking up for marshawn and pointing out hypocricy where he see's it. richard is so clever...like that presser he did with the cardboard player.
  18. new england didn't fumble in the second half of the indy game with properly inflated balls. maybe because guys who fumble don't get chances to fumble again. protect the rock or find a new team.
  19. Richard Sherman: Roger Goodell should have to talk weekly http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/27/richard-sherman-roger-goodell-should-have-to-talk-weekly/ i enjoy the heck out of richard....the guy is brilliant.
