  1. LIAR! Melvin Fowler has never been in a weight room.
  2. If Mack is their target at pick 11, I highly doubt they have to decoy anything. Nobody is trading up into the top ten to take a center.
  3. That is 99.9 % likely to be the exact way this played out. Like you said it happens over and over again in every courtroom, every day. I have also read in various reports that a plea bargain was struck, further making your example a reality. I'm sure Lynch was more than happy to take the deal. I can understand the idea of disputing the severity of the crime, from a morality standpoint. I fail to understand how or why anyone would create a fantasy scenario that incriminates others, just to deny a player's mistake.
  4. You sound like our new OLB. I'd call Russ and let him know you are of high character as well.
  5. I can't wait to see what Bowen has. I'm guessing that they draft an OLB as well. Somebody will step up to the plate and win the job.
  6. Yes, I love depth players. You got me! No I actually just got a kick out of your over the top reaction, that's all. Every year, every team signs camp fodder. Only morons react with an opinion like TERRIBLE MOVE! Your post made me laugh, sorry.
  7. HaHaHaHa! Terrible move? You say it like they publicly announced Pat Thomas is going to be our starting OLB and he will be taking a few snaps under center this year. Take a few deep breaths and count to ten.
  8. I just ordered my Pat Thomas jersey.
  9. I'm thinking the same thing Magox. It's not really all that bad of a situation. I have a strange feeling we are going Pettigrew with the first pick and DE with the second. The big thing for us is getting Peters signed. If we can't sign him they better get ALOT in compensation.
  10. The sky is falling crowd is well represented tonight. When did Crowell become Lawrence Taylor? As far as our offseason goes, I feel the Bills aren't done and we should wait and see what happens. I don't think any team out there has cleaned up either. The Bills are doing ok in comparison to the league.
  11. I chose already did but I feel strange saying I forgave Marshawn Lynch. He didn't do anything to me. In all honesty it was a victimless crime and he was just stupid in his choices. I'm willing to bet that most posters here have gotten behind the wheel and drove home when they shouldn't have. I know I have and I'm not going to pass judgement on this kid. Wake up Marshawn you got alot to lose.
  12. These are very valid points BillsVet. I have primarily argued with posters who have tried to claim Cutler wouldn't be an upgrade over Edwards. Lost in the mix is at what cost would that trade come. Without the knowledge of trade talks, who knows what the Broncos are looking for. The same can be said for all of the trade Peters threads. How can anyone have a firm opinion on trading a player in or out, when the return value is unknown?
  13. Trent in my mind deserves to be the starter next year and I agree that it will be the best gauge as to what he has. I am very skeptical about how much he can improve but I do believe it's possible. With that being said if he doesn't improve on his production, he's done.
  14. The bills were 5 and 2 going into week 8. As I assume you remember they then lost four straight. During that span the Bills not only fell below .500 but they obliterated their conference record. In that 4 game stretch, Trent threw for 784 yards and scored 4 Tds (1 of them rushing), while comitting 10 turnovers. I mean as long as we are talking about important games, right?
  15. Of course it's fair. I am respectfully disagreeing on this one, thats all. I've read lots of your posts and think you are an informed fan. We aren't going to come to a conclusion on this one but that's alright because Trent's our guy. I'll root for Edwards every time he takes the field.
  16. Relax my friend. Cutler has started 37 games in his three year career, I think he might be able have a few bigger ones in the future. Unlike Edwards who is going into a do or die situation this season and needs to do something he has never done before. What about that 4th quarter qb rating, nothing to say?
  17. Exactly! It is not even comparable. Next thing you know all the Homers around here will be telling us Lynch is superior to Peterson because Minnesota has a good o-line. Just pathetic.
  18. You stated that Cutler is not a clutch player and based it on a handpicked three game stretch. Your OPINIONS of his play in the clutch are not only unfound but they are flat out wrong. His 4th quarter Qb rating is second highest in the league over the last two seasons and he has numerous comeback wins. Off the top of my head San Diego this past season and in Buffalo two seasons ago in the opener.
  19. Cutler- probowl Qb, never missed a game since highschool despite type 1 diabetes (untreated as well), 3rd in passing yards over the last two seasons, second highest 4th quarter Qb rating over last two seasons, tremendous TD rate, average int %, and seems like a jerk Edwards- playing for his job this season, injury prone (college and pros), 27th in passing tds last year- behind guys like Ferotte, J. Russell, Shaun Hill, Kyle Orton, and Jason Campbell, below NFL average yardage totals since becoming the starter, average int %, and seems like a nice guy I'll take the jerk!
  20. Watch out for those Horseshoe pro-days. NFL scouts have been known to view their track as the fastest in the country and not a true 40 time. Some scouts even add .05 to .1 onto the players times.
  21. LMAO One guy made the probowl last year and the other is playing for his job this season. You Trent lovers can't even look at things objectively anymore. Whose having the wet dreams, now? Trent better show SIGNIFICANT improvement this year or all the JP fanboys are going to be out for blood and you won't be able to defend your mancrushes anymore.
  22. The afc east has two Terrells to deal with now!
  23. Heap has been slowed by injuries through the years but he actually was active for every game last season. It's too bad because the guy was a beast as a younger player. He spends most downs blocking at the line these days.
  24. I just heard that Tyson Jackson absolutely bombed at his pro-day. Take it for what it's worth, I haven't had the chance to research it.
