  1. What about taking your second big fat raise, and saying thank you for tearing up another contract so I can get another 4 or 5 million a year? Then following it up with a full on effort for your team. How's that for a player option?
  2. All players take the chance of losing their career when they take the field. Doesn't mean anything when negotiating a contract though. A player's ability is what determines how much they make. I feel bad for guys who lose their career prematurely but I can't sympathize with their situation in general. As far as getting cut goes, it's a privelage to play in the NFL and you get nicely compensated for that privelage. I hate this argument. In todays economic situation, a NFL player being cut is hardly a blip on the radar. When did we lose perspective as fans?
  3. Correct moron, the pot charges that didn't see the light of day. The same charges that you find a need to defend against nobody. Who am I trying to kid? WTF? You have lost it. I was simply saying that you look like a je$k*ff when you say the pot charges were fabricated. How in the world would you know that? What is the point of even trying to speculate on what happened with the supposed pot situation? I don't have a clue, and furthermore what the hell does it matter? He didn't get charged. You chose the path of speculating that the police were corrupt. Then you defended Lynch's honor against dropped charges. So again I say you look foolish. On a side note people get let go on possession of minimal amounts of pot, all the time. That sounds a little more realistic than your fabrication theories.
  4. Right Buddy! Like I said nobody cares about charges that never saw the light of day. Please keep on fighting the good fight though! Perhaps the crooked cops ran that girl over last year. Prove to me they didn't!
  5. Foolish post. No need to use "the oldest trick in the book" when the vehicle has no plates on it. Besides nobody cares whether you believe he had pot in the vehicle or not. He didn't get charged with it, and you or anyone else on this site don't know why. Keep plugging away with your conspiracy theories and trumped up charges nonsense. Maybe it wasn't even Marshawn. Prove to me he doesn't have a gun toting double that has pot in their car and doesn't smoke it. LOL
  6. A good player who can't stay healthy is a major hinderance for a team. Especially when a team is counting on that player and said player is the starting Qb. I'm not saying it's his fault but it is a factor in winning games. Marc Bulger is the first guy that comes to mind for me.
  7. His felony charge was reduced to three misdemeanors. The three misdemeanors were reduced to one misdemeanor. That one misdemeanor was a concealed firearm, and he plead guilty to it. Lori was guessing that maybe the three misdemeanors were equivalent in penalty and they just picked one. The felony was more than likely the unlicensed weapon charge and was thrown out for any number of reasons, including the possibility you suggested.
  8. I reverse my, stand corrected. Thanks Lori.
  9. From a legal/suspension standpoint you are making great points. As a Bills fan who has witnessed last years Chippewa incident and the pieces involved with this story, I have to be a little skeptical of Marshawns ability to stay out of trouble.
  10. Fair enough, I stand corrected. The two are vastly different.
  11. No. The charge was possession of unlicensed firearm.
  12. I think somebody posted something about Peppers, having a list of four teams he would play for. He also wants to play in a 3-4 and we play a Timid 2.
  13. I believe that contract was already re-negotiated.
  14. If somebody gets just a sniff of anything these days it's off and running at TBD. I love it. The T.O. aquisition makes me believe anything is possible again. For the first time in awhile I can say that my favorite team is relevant. I just need a little confirmation of a visit and I won't sleep tonight. Scheffler would be awesome as well.
  15. 100 percent! I have nothing against Trent. I think he's a nice kid and is easy to root for. He's far easier to root for than Cutler, IMO. He has done enough to be given the keys for another full season. With all that being said I still have some serious doubts about his game. The transition from where he's at now, to the next level, will be the hardest of his career.
  16. Fair enough, my friend. We aren't so far off in opinion. Good debate! Screw Cutler and the Broncos for all I care.
  17. Finally a fair argument. I can see your points and respect them. I disagree with them but that's ok, you didn't try telling me Cutler is average.
  18. He did rally the Broncos to a late drive comeback opening day in 2007.
  19. I don't have any disdain for Edwards. In fact I hope he becomes a great Qb. Why do a handful of Buffalo homers have to make excuses as to why he's not produced as well as another guy. It's not the end of the world if someone's better than your beloved Trent.
  20. Let's meet in the middle and say your retarded.
  21. Let's say for the sake of your lame argument that he has performed average his first two seasons. Where does that put Edward's performance?
  22. Who said anything about the HOF? You and I both know that this resume is pretty solid. You can call it what you like but your just losing credibility with each post.
  23. I think you aren't being efficient enough with your honesty, in regards to your favorite team.
  24. Not really. He has produced at an efficient level for 3 years now. He has never missed a game at the NFL level or college level. He made the probowl in his third season. He played his first two years with untreated type 1 diabetes, lost 33 pounds during the season last year, and didn't miss a game. What were you hoping, he'd play SS and help shore up the defense as well?
