  1. How about that guy covered in carbon in pic 70? I can't open a can of oil-base paint today, without having to get in s full bio-hazard suit and respirator. We've come along way. Great find and thanks for sharing.
  2. I agree. I can literally think of hundreds of better activities while driving.
  3. 1. Don't worry about chasing fashion trends. It's a very expensive game that really gets you nothing in return. 2. Pack your lunch. 3. Order pitchers in bars and bottles in restaurants. 4. Clean your own car, shovel your own driveway, and cut your own grass.
  4. I've probably taken a leak on every golf course I've ever played. It's as simple as a little stroll into the woods and do your thing. An observer would have to go out of their way to know whether I was pissing or looking for a ball. If Ben took his leak right out in the open in front of this women, then of course he should be in trouble. If the woman just saw the silhoutte of a guy pissing in the woods, she needs to get a life. I highly doubt he is stupid enough to expose himself to this women on purpose.
  5. Nah, it doesn't work that way. I think we all have a large list of people we've never met before, who we could understandably be saddened by their loss. George Steinbrenner was more than just a name to alot of people. Are we as humans not supposed to mourn the loss of people we never met? Circumstances and the nature of the death certainly have something to do with it but it should be natural to feel saddened when a fellow human passes. It gets amplified the closer you feel with the individual. In the end,no one should be made to feel like a nutcase for having compassion towards others. Who gives a rats ass if you think it's weird? It's the morons who celebrate the death of others we should be concerned with.
  6. Yes we should all be spiteful towards George Steinbrenner because he didn't do enough for the city of Buffalo. He also didn't do enough to help other teams compete against his own. Some would say he hated the Buffalo Bills and all they stand for. LOL, how do some of you clowns make it through a week? It's got to be one embarrassing conversation after another.
  7. The Misfits at the Opera House in Toronto, 1996. It was their "East Coast Comeback Tour" and the venue was perfect. I was a junior in highschool and made a road trip with a group of friends. We got there really early and hung out with the band. Some of the other guys got their pictures taken with the band, and they ended up in a few punk magazines. It was just the perfect mix of youth and freedom. It's virtually impossible to recapture that feeling as an adult. I'm not saying I can't have a great time, but it's never going to match those years. Anyway, we never went to sleep that night and ended up hanging around the venue and band most of the night.
  8. Ouch dude, that is horrible. I wish I had some sort of answer. Sorry to hear that Dankenstein.
  9. You are probably right. I better do more research.
  10. I've heard alot of nice reviews for Samsung lately. Thanks
  11. I'm in a PPR league and I usually go WR, WR, RB. Elite WRs are harder to come by than elite RBs, IMO. Truthfully, it's a bad strategy to go into a draft with a specific formula in mind.
  12. I'm in the market for a new TV and was hoping for a little advice. I just bought my first home and Im graduating from tube to flat screen and have limited knowledge on the subject. I know this board has some tech savvy posters and look foward to some good info. I figured it was about time I moved into this decade and get a real tv, besides the abuse from friends has been relentless. A few points.... 1. I'm willing to spend in the neighborhood of 3,000 but I want something worth it. I'd consider spending more if it was a blow you away difference. Of course I'd go less, if it was a minimal downgrade. 2. I'm hanging the TV on a wall and need a geek squad to help me out. 3. I checked a few out this weekend and love the LED pictures. Of course, those prices are bound to come down drastically and probably soon. One friend suggested buying a cheap LCD and replacing it with a good LED in a year, when they might be a grand cheaper. I'm leaning towards just getting what I want. 4. I'm looking at 52 to 60 inches. 5. I mostly watch movies and sports. No gaming for me 6. Should I get the warranty? Thanks in advance!
  13. Sure, but only the ones who still live in Detroit.
  14. This has been a fantastic finals so far. Yes, officiating has been questionable but it's not ruining the matchup for me. So far we have some heroes 1.Pau and Kobe are playing like superstars. Gasol has improved his strength/conditioning dramatically and it shows. He should be getting more looks. Kobe is the best player in the league and I'm not sure it's very close. 2. Rajon Rondo is everywhere. He has actually carried the Celtics at times this postseason and he makes that team go. 3. Andrew Bynum is the x-factor in this series. His length and athletic ability seem to neutralize Garnett, Davis, and Perkins. The Celtics have a much better time attacking the basket when he's not healthy. 4. The Celtics bench is deep and good. At this point of the season, the bench is a major factor. IMO, the Celtics bench is way ahead of the Lakers. ...and some goats 1. Ron Artest and Lamar Odom are ineffective and timid. Do they know it's the finals? Artest shouldn't even look at the basket on offense. 2. Kendrick Perkins is a little overrated. They rave about his defense, but I think he is only slightly better than your average big body stiff. 3. Kevin Garnett looks like he is breaking down. He has had his moments but IMO his body is older than his age. I'm not sure he belongs in the goat category but he is running on fumes. 4. The officials. I like how Rasheed Wallace gets T'd up immediately after he gives a disgruntled look but Kobe can be seen flailing his arms and yelling mother *&%*#! virtually every game. One example of many bad calls that go both ways.
  15. Agreed, but a few others have really made a run at the title. I like the goofs who keep ripping into Schobel's leadership qualities. As if anyone on this message board has freaking clue what kind of leader he is. Then again most of the asswipes around here think being a good leader is mostly about screaming and throwing tantrums on the sidelines. The qualities of great leadership are foreign in society for the most part.

  17. I agree Coleman is the guy who looks to have the most potential. I'm very excited about our LBs in general. I think the position has a great blend of veterans and youth. The Bills have brought in alot of LBs to compete and it's going to be really interesting to see how things end up. I have a feeling there might be a couple hidden gems amongst our new LBs.
  18. You seem to be sitting pretty right now dog but you and I both know it isn't over. The threat of injury or horrific play is always on the horizon. I'm monitoring the situation closely and I'm sure you are too. Hope all is well. -Push-
  19. I totally agree with you. The Bills weren't in a position to make a move this year and trading for the number 1 is just unrealistic/foolish.
  20. Letting it go is the first step towards acceptance. I won't accept TE as the starter unless he pulls a miracle off and becomes someone else. I'm glad the Bills didn't reach out and use a valuable resource on a QB this offseason because I felt the options were fairly weak. This is hardly a vote of confidence for TE though. I hope he succeeds and wish him the best but let's be real, he has his job by default and even that is suposedly undetermined. When I think of the QB position in Buffalo, I'm certainly not thinking TE. It's far more comforting to daydream about future scenarios that involve the Bills and a legit starting QB.
  21. Well said. I'll remember Armando Gallaraga too.
  22. She belongs on the list of the 100 greatest characters in the last 20 years.
