Looking out the window just before the Billsgame started. Like a switch, the wind picked up and the plow sitting a few doors down disappeared into the blown ng snow. The lare effect is moving back south. -

Lake effect band has move up to Grand Island through Lockport. Will be moving back down to Buffalo/ Cheektowaga in a few hours. Channel 7 reporter is downtown outside the old Police HQ (across from County Hall). Can see about a block or so. At old police HQ, one side pavement. Around corner, snow over his knees. County exec said this is just as bad or worse than '77 ⅔ of emergency service vehicles stuck. No emergency services in Buff/Cheek/Kenton/Lanc. Two people died in Cheektowaga (medical events, not frozen). 2 County highlifts center( took almost two hours to go from their garage to the County EmergencyCenter (2 miles). The storm will continue through tomorrow afternoon. -

News just said we had 16.8" today. Can't tell s the first snow this AM got plastered on the windows and I can't knock it off. I'm on the second floor. They said we are supposed to get an additional 36-48 " by Sunday evening. With gusts today in the 70s, this felt like '77. -

Last summer they started putting the lights on poles along main routes. For example, Transit road at the WS/Cheek/Lancaster/Elma border. Looks like state roads. Putting in the blinking yellow left turn arrows too. -
Actually those senes from Planes, Trains, and Automobiles were filmed on the 219.

Can't tell you how it is outside in Cheektowaga. The blowing snow is stuck onto the windows obscuring a clear view. -
Landed there once at night.Saw that lit up area in the middle of streets and said "We're landing there?"

Yes .ht's to protect the road from erosion, not flooding. The wind is producing a seiche. The water is blown from the Toledo end to the Buffalo end. -

Talk aBOUT LOClizd. In 2014, we had 7 feet. At Broadway and Union(1.5 miles north) they had maybe 6 inches at most. At the airport (another 1.5 miles north) -no snow. -
Yes. How many dead relatives have you carried out conversations with? Most of 2021 got woken up by my mother yelling and screaming about someone in her room or on yje ceiling ( had a ceiling fan above her (not running). A lot of times it took an hour or more to calm her down and get her to fall asleep again. Had to fight with her trying to take off her nightgown because it was "choking" her. A lot of times I had to sleep the floorr next to her bed in case she woke up again yelling. The nights where she had complete conversations with her dead siblings were the good ones. Would hear her talking and gesturing and mentioning them by name.

The Bills should get the rights to play all Christmas carols (Frosty, Let it now, etc ) before and during the game.
