If you watched any of the trial on TV and then compared that experience with the opinions and observations of political hacks like Lemon and Cuomo you might get the idea there are two different trials going on at the same time. The one you're watching and the one they're commenting about. What they also have a penchant for is taking a situation where one man is on trial and extrapolating it into an indictment of society complete with their favorite social justice narratives. Its not Rittenhouse that's on trial its all of America. A specific segment of America. As for the MSM at the end of the day if the jury decides on an acquittal my bet is the narrative and conclusion will be its because the judge, the defendant, defense counsel, the jury, and all the witnesses are all White Supremacists. All commanded by some invisible force that organizes secret calls and meetings in order to conspire with the Wisconsin court system while also tampering with the jury. Immediately following will be howls and cries for a Federal investigation by the DOJ into potential Civil Rights violations which Garland will instruct attorneys at the DOJ to pursue. Then watch and wait for that to flop too.

Well, one theory is that in the face of evidence there would be a very large and potentially violent crowd of protesters that day a decision was made to not augment security and leave a standard security detail in place at the Capitol in order to allow or trigger a rather uneventful "riot" to occur that resulted in no loss of life or physical harm to anyone of consequence in order to use the chaos of the event as pretext for justifying the issuing some draconian restrictions on opposition political activity and free speech.

That's it. And to stack the deck further that's why Nancy vetoed all Republican committee appointment names that would be unfriendly to a politically motivated course of business. That's not how the house committee appointment process works. The majority does not have veto power over minority appointments. In my view, one reason why this committee is illegitimate and nothing more than a political show to placate the base hungry for a win. In the end they'll prove nothing but provide lots of suspicions and conclusions that will allow the faithful to still believe the narrative.

Remember back when the vaccines first appeared and the talk from officials like Fauci was about the need to get as many people vaccinated as possible so we can achieve "herd immunity"? Herd immunity was 60%, then 70%, then higher still. Cutting to the chase, if the vaccine does not grant immunity, either short-term or permanent, then how can we ever possibly achieve herd immunity? Because nobody being just vaccinated is immune, period. Right? Maybe the goal should be "herd protection"? Then there's the debate over natural vs. vaccination immunity and protection. Although we know the vaccine provides no immunity we insist it is "better" than natural immunity from infection and recovery. Call me skeptical of that conclusion based on the evidence. So the truth is the vaccine provides the patient with protection. Protection that is not very well defined empirically or objectively but protection said to be against serious illness or death. But not immunity from serious illness or death from the virus. So how much less of a threat is a vaccinated person to give me the virus than an un-vaccinated person? It depends. On when you got vaccinated, on when others got vaccinated, on your specific health profile, on the specific heatlh profile of others, on if the un-vaccinated people you come into contact with have ever had COVID and when they might have had it. My conclusion from all this is vaccinating every single person is not going to eliminate the virus from society. And the vaccine is simply a treatment. And other treatments are other potential options. And they should be embraced and not casually dismissed. My concern is health officials know this, they've known this from day one. And yet they still push vaccination as the only legitimate approach. And continue to disparage treatment options. And provide no standard of care options for when people get infected. Stay home and if you get sicker go to the hospital. That's the best we can do? I don't believe that.

Inciting a riot is a crime. Bringing that up doesn't justify or excuse the Democrats weaponizing the mechanisms of government for political purposes. Specifically to use it for the persecution and punishment of their political enemies with a passion for maximum sentences for mostly petty charges. Make no mistake. That is what's driving this 1/6 investigation. How else would you explain a political class that has no interest in law and order, advocating instead de-funding police, zero bail arrangements, dismantling the prison system, and other anti-law enforcement initiative and ideas, having such a great obsession for law and order when it comes to this one situation? A political event gone bad. Are we expected to believe the members of the committee who embrace holding suspects indefinitely without bail and in confinement on misdemeanor charges would endorse and support no bail and solitary confinement for a similar situation of a suspect accused of criminal trespass at the local WalMart?

From a quick glance at this mornings press clippings it appears the MSM's next move here is to attack the credibility and character of the judge. I assume the jury will be next.

This statement is representative of the lefts mindset. Liberals that advocate for de-fund the police, prison and sentencing reform, SWAT teams dragging their political enemies out of their homes at 3 AM with media present to record the event, and advocate for changes in the criminal justice system for rapists, murders, and other criminals while applauding the militarization of the Capitol area have no issue with long sentences and weaponizing the criminal justice system when it comes to punishing their real or perceived political enemies. The message the left is sending is you can rape, murder, and commit other crimes against people and property and we will fight for you to get off easy but don't oppose our political program and ideology or we'll bring down the hammer on you. Obey and comply with our agenda. Remember this next time you hear or read about some goofball fringe nut job reciting the scripture about the unfairness of the criminal justice system.

An examination of protests in the past year or so will reveal that when the leftist crowd riots the cops get stand-down orders and the event is characterized as "peaceful protest" and activism in support of social justice. When anyone else riots or protests its an insurrection and threat to democracy which requires a merciless application of justice and enforcement of law and order.

The basic problem is leftist rioters get a pass from weak and gutless liberal government officials that worship an insane ideology so they don't care about the safety and security of their citizens. Which gives the "protesters" an exemption from the law when it comes to street violence. They can attack people in the streets, burn down buildings, destroy property, and loot stores without consequences. When a couple of them get shot dead and another wounded because they picked on the wrong guy they all piss and moan not fair!

For the first time I watched some of the proceedings during my lunchtime yesterday. When the defendant was being cross-examined, it appeared like the prosecutor was trying to create the conditions for the judge to declare a mistrial. Using lines of questioning that questioned the defendants 5th amendment right to silence and other lines of questioning the judge had previous advise against. The judge was clearly unhappy and vigorously lectured the prosecutor. So is the prosecution, expecting their case is not winnable given testimony and evidence to date looking for a mistrial, potentially attempt to re-try the defendant (and get their star witness to not ruin their case the 2nd time), and have a better chance at a conviction the 2nd time around or just have the case dismissed as a mistrial but leave it in the minds of the public informed of the circumstances of the shootings and the trial proceedings through MSM narratives that the kid is still guilty?

I assume the Russia conspiracy theorist crowd thinks meeting with foreign officials is a unique and suspicious activity so perhaps they are not aware that foreign governments have diplomatic personnel at Embassies and Consulates in order to interact with US government officials. And that incoming and sitting administrations hold these discussions and meetings as a matter of practice and official protocol.

What Biden is doing is handcuffing the domestic US oil & gas industry and begging the Saudi's and Russian's w/OPEC+ to raise production. While hurting the poorest of Americans the most that need to heat their homes this Winter along with higher prices for products that have high energy content.
