  1. I wouldn't go betting the farm any of this. For Mahomes the NFL is going to be similar to playing Alabama. A lot of people look real good until the Tide comes in.
  2. Belushi died a long time ago
  3. What a concept, Coaching might be the answer. Another voice of reason.
  4. It is the mark of shear hyperbole when a soundbite Tweet can spark such lively hairsplitting over something that will probably never happen, but I guess it is the offseason.
  5. Connecting those dots borders on genius.......
  6. Another Tweet and another thread. And the wheels on the bus go round and round.
  7. In Kansas City, Andy Reid has seen the ceiling of Alex Smith, and it is nice. Nice, as in final eight of the NFL not as in final two. Reid has never minded upsetting the apple cart for a potentially special player. Romo would be that. Smith is mature enough to take this, to understand the addition of Romo would be good for the team. Smith wouldnt pout. Hed be a team guy. Thats why the Chiefs make sense too. Peter King is just a giant Tweet. Read the whole article and think back to Chris Chandelier of the Falcons. Get Harvin to go with him and you have one fine Training Camp highlight reel.
  8. Despite the popularity of the NFL, just 8.3 percent of a three-hour game broadcast is actually live play, according to data compiled by Vox.com. The greatest proportion of a broadcast 35.5 percent is players standing around between plays, with another 24.5 percent made up of commercials, according to Vox.
  9. And the same results on the field.....
  10. Desperate times call for desperate measures?
  11. I have been saying this for years. Commercials have ruined the game for the fan and need to be reined in. Will it change? Probably not. The owners are getting richer off of tv money and probably wouldn't dream of hurting the cash cow. Could you live with the New Era Bills?
  12. Agreed. As long as Whaley is driving the bus, there won't be any rings or trophies. Whaley is the epitome of the saying that all it takes is one. As long as one person falls in love with a player that player has a job. Whaley doesn't have the patience or analytical nature to make good long term decisions. He just grabs at the low hanging fruit before someone else does.
  13. Too many to choose from.
  14. And the offseason is in full swing. There is a tweet for that.
  15. maybe some sort of Frankenstein thing and make one uber Quarterback out of Tyrod and Cardale. A running throwing machine able to leap tall stadiums in a single bound, faster than a speeding linebacker and more powerful than......
  16. How many do you want? It is only going to get better from here on out. They are making more even as we speak.
  17. One must hedge one's bets.
  18. Hoodie would have had a lot of success without Brady, probably not as much but...... He is a great coach with a great player. Perfect storm so to speak. Very similar to Phil Jackson and MJ as well as Phil and Kobe.
  19. Too bad you didn't post that yesterday.....
