Aww the Canadian Ballet...sweet I remember I used to live at that place on the weekends when I was much younger, I think it was better than it is now.

All QB's need time to develop....Pike, Mallet whoever they end up getting. I would think the Bills would be smart and draft a lineman in the first round ,QB in the second. No matter who they pick at QB they need somebody to open holes in the run game and protect the passer . Heck if Fitz continues to play decent, I would keep him, let him run the show for the first few games and let the rookie come in when he is ready.

I like the kid Pike also. I like the Big Ben comparision. I hope the Bills FO are watching this game.

I agree with you, didn' t Martz run the Greatest show on Turf? Granted we don't have Kurt Warner but I think Martz could do some things with the talent the Bills have on Offense. And a plus to all the Martz talk is you would see Fewell as Assitant HC/DC. And it would not take 10 mill to sign the guy. I think this is a pretty good plan B choice if we don't get Shanahan.

If he wins 4 games with this injured team then I would have to keep him as the DC. He will have earned the right.

Well they were supposed to meet before Turkey Day so it might be true. If so, and that's a big if BTW, how could Shanahan turn that down?? I guess Ralph is putting his cards on the table. I wonder if Cowher gets wind of this maybe that might sway him to Buffalo, or least set up a meeting. No doubt I would prefer Cowher over Shanahan but if we can land Shanahan I would be shocked and very pleased at the same time.

You maybe right but here's the twist to it. Ralph has the money so he has the control. If he feels that Mike's DC is not up to snuff, he should tell him that he should hire another DC with a better track record. If Shanahan doesnt go for it, say bye bye. You still have to stop the other team from scoring. Denver's D in the last few yrs under Shanahan was terrible. See last years Bills game. If it is a package deal I would pass.

I for one have to give Perry a thumbs up. I thought him and the coaching staff had the team ready to play. Given the fact that this was Perry first game as HC Ill give him a pass on the end of the first half because they got points. Think about it...Stroud, McKelvin, McGee, Ellison were out. Plus Byrd was playing hurt. That's just on Defense Butler, Wood ,Marshawn, and this patchwork O-line. Fewell is really shorthanded, 8 starters out. I am surprised the game was this close. The Defense was good Against the run. Williams sure has taken his game to another level this year. Johnson played well, held his own. Scott and Wilson continue to make plays. Shows we have at least some depth on this team. The players are playing for jobs next season and it sure looked like it. They could have easily ran for the bus but they did not. I'm proud of them for that. Fitz may not be the best QB on the team, he is erratic with some of his throws and should had had 3 or 4 picks. But he is a more of a leader than Trent and is and is willing to let his WR's make a play. For that I say make him the starter for the rest of the year. He seems to know how to deal with T.O., maybe having to deal with Ochocinco last year helped lol For those calling for Brohm, that's just silly right now, no way he plays unless Fitz and Trent get hurt. Don't know how bad Lynch is hurt but I would let Jackson get the bulk of the carries and let Marshawn do the goal line situations. I hope this is Perry's next move.

Last three yrs with have had too many injuries....never have I have seen a Bills teams get hit so hard. That being said they played hard, I would like to see them with all the players healthy, you expect them to have some injuries but damn. When they were at full strength they had NE beat..... Seems like this year was fate.... Football gods are just not feeling us right now.

I thought they should have spiked the ball at the end of the first half and got another chance at the end zone, then kick the field goal. That was a fail but they did get the points, better than nothing. Overall it was a entertaining game. Bills had two TDs called back on flags, thats why they lose the game, not what they did at the end of the first half. Perry had them ready to play, on the road and playing Fitz almost worked out. T.O was into it, which was nice to see. They should have won straight up. Nice to see team play with some emotion on the sidelines. Baby steps , baby steps yall

I was outside raking leaves, it a beauty of a day. I figured Id get some fresh air before work. After I ate my pre work meal I logged on to kill some time. Went to NFL.com to see what was up in the league. Saw the banner that they fired Jauron and just smiled and did a long golf clap. I didn't think Ralph would pull the trigger during the season. Safe to say none of us could smell this coming. But so glad it happened.

Pocket Hercules is not Chris Johnson who may be better than A. Peterson at this point. Johnson won that game damn near by himself until we started to throw pick 6's . So the Jags may throw more than the Titans downfield which means if any thing goes over the deep middle Jarius will have at least 1.

I agree that the line is part of the problem. But this is why Fitz is starting... You mentioned the play in the 4th qt. when T.O. made no effort to catch that pass before the pick 6. I said to myself they have given up on Trent. When a WR does that to a QB you have to sit him down. Either you bench Trent or T.O. If you were coach who would you bench? Juaron did the right thing pulling Trent because it is clear that the team wont play for him. Did you see the movie Any Given Sunday? Same fuggin thing has happened here. When your team does not have faith in a QB they wont play full steam for him, plain and simple. Trent is toast here...... he cant stay healthy and I doubt the Bills will start him after this unless Fitz gets hurt. Trent has the tools but he is like Bledsoe, he needs a top notch line to be max effective. Look at Rodgers in Green Bay, does he have a great line...no but he still makes plays. Trent will never be like that so lets look for somebody else.

I was wondering since Shanahan is unemployed, for the matter Cowher also, can we just go out and hire one of these guys as GM/ or Consultant, see how Perry shakes out, then promote themselfs to HC /GM after the Rooney interview ??

the way Russell is playing he might be playing with the Locos next year. I thought that Oakland would sign J.P. and give him a chance, might be a good fit for him, if he lowered his goal to # 2 on the depth chart.

They will interview him for the job after the season is over and if he gets 4 wins with the remaining games I would be impressed. But when you have a choice of some of the best coaches to even coach you have to take a stab at them. You may never see this many good coaches looking for work again. these are my guesses to what may happen. Cowher......Carolina Shanahan...Buffalo with Perry still DC Dungy... retired still Holgreem....Clevaland. Chuckie.....in the booth. Billick...in the booth.

Damn no more Hanging with 10, which wasn't all that bad. But if the only thing he was doing for the team is in house interviews.....see ya. I wore my Bills jersey for the first time in a long time Tuesday because I feel they are starting to realize that what talent they have , coaching and player wise, is just not good enough. Hey I would give him an interview just to see what he would do with Jackson, Lynch and Evans ,Hardy, and even Roscoe and Stevie Johnson. why not?? I would like to see Shanahan or Marty Ball because they would be able to attract better Coordinators. But Leach is an interesting thought.
