  1. Just good? He’s allowed 15 completions in 8 games: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WhitTr01.htm
  2. Bet the pardon of the OP, but Alex Trebek did not lose his fight. He fought one of the most deadly forms of cancer known to man, for much longer than expected, and did it with an attitude that I personally would love to emulate on even my best day. He is an icon, and I will never forget him. See you on the other side, dear Alex. We will certainly miss you.
  3. What? He held him catchless for the entire first half of the playoff game, and then caused a fumble on Hopkins first reception. Yes, Nuk had a few big catches in the 2nd half (including a deuce), but I think you’re overstating
  4. I laugh so hard when analysts call one of Josh’s throws “dangerous”...I’m all “nah fam, you just think so because you don’t know this dude’s arm”
  5. Gonzalez just mis-hit it. Happens. Wanna bet he nails a huge one against us? Bet he does...we have a weird history against Arizona kickers...their team has had two kickers in history hit 60-yard FGs: Jay Feely hit a 61-yarder at home against Buffalo in 2012, and Chandler Catanzaro hit a 60-yarder on the road in 2016...against Buffalo.
  6. I think Tua will be good, but watching national media lose their minds because he threw for 250 yards in a game where they won due to a kicker missing a 49 yard FG short is a little ridiculous.
  7. Tough, tough game. They have an extremely talented offense, a creative play caller, and will be coming with an edge after a bad loss. Gotta stick with the same game plan: play disciplined zone coverage, timely & effective blitzes, make plays on the football defensively. Offensively, their run D isn’t good, but I would much prefer if Buffalo can take advantage of their corners. Much like Seattle, they’ve got a stick of dynamite back there at safety and they’ll use him everywhere. Use that PA and pump fake game to slow him down.
  8. And if the Chiefs were truly legit they should blow out Carolina, but they didn’t. And if the Titans are legit they should blow out Cincinnati, but they didn’t. And if the Steelers are legit they should blow out the Cowboys, but they didn’t. And if the Seahawks are legit they should blow out the Bills, but they didn’t. Because this is the NFL, and week to week consistency isn’t as cut and dry as people would like it to be. I’ll take a 2-0 victory on a safety or a FG fest that ends 12-9 if it means getting to the bye at 8-2.
  9. So is everyone in this thread going to recognize that he was absolutely everywhere today against the league MVP-lead offense?
  10. I understand your point; I agree with the other poster, however, that I doubt any defense is up to stopping Seattle consistently, so the path to victory is to outscore them...and for that to happen we need The Big Bossman to be himself for all 4 quarters today.
  11. Honestly I have to give it to the OP. I’ve been watching games for 35 years, and that play is the first time I leapt from my chair and screamed “THAT IS MY QUARTERBACK”. I’ve never seen that kind of effort, attitude, athleticism, and strength. It was the moment that most of America learned why Josh Allen has the ultimate respect of his teammates.
  12. Agreed... I don’t see them benching Ford before Winters, Boettger, or Bates though.
  13. My 2nd choice would be Ford at LG with Mongo at center and Boettger at RG. Winters has just been so bad.
  14. I think there’s a fair chance that Winters goes to the bench if Ford is healthy. Ford back at LG with Bates at center (after a full week of practice there) and Mongo back at RG would be my preference.
  15. If my dude Byron Leftwich isn’t a HC somewhere next year, then the GM community has missed a golden opportunity. Are you paying attention Houston?
  16. I would call 3 straight WR screens—betcha they’d each go for 1st downs.
  17. Looks like he’s moving a bit better than last week
  18. Instead of 1st down at the Miami 35 one play into the 2nd drive, Buffalo ended up deep in their own territory. Yes, that changes things.
  19. And that game-changing fumble after a 38-yard play in Miami.
  20. Um, why are their spirits down? Maybe it’s the global pandemic, the civil unrest, or the typical rigors of the most physical sport in the world. 🙄
