  1. Targeting Worley, opposing QBs are 8/11 for 175 yards and 3 TDs
  2. Just doesn’t look as crisp as usual...like he’s being extra careful in/out of his breaks Agreed
  3. Insofar as anyone on the D is playing well, yeah. He’s not having his best year, as he’s missed more tackles than usual and hasn’t been as sharp in diagnosing play action, but if the question is whether or not he’s getting the job done relative to his role in the D, my answer is yes.
  4. So the four highest paid DTs in football...and Ed Oliver 👀 Doesn’t quite look 100% Oh see I felt he does look a bit like he’s favoring it Ok so I’m not losing it
  5. This pleases me. He’s the guy they need back for this game. I imagine that Gilmore will draw Brown and they’ll roll a double on Diggs. That probably means they zone the middle. Bease knows how to work those zones, but it would be great if our backs and TEs could show up in the passing game this week—if they can, I think we can make it ugly.
  6. We had one last week...unfortunately Kroft got bit by the turf monster
  7. Starting DT. Good run stuffer. Plays for a team with a bad record and very little cap space. One year left on his deal (2021). Minnesota would save $3.6M this year by trading him.
  8. A name that could be interesting is Shemar Stephen from Minnesota
  9. They had 11 days between games 1 and 3 in this scenario; in the one you’re describing, they’d have 13.
  10. Who could forget Skoob! He once shook hands with Mike Sheppard and drove a BMW, so he obviously had the goods!!!
  11. He also will flip flop from one stance to another...yesterday he called Ford’s injury long-term. Today it looks like he’ll play. Tomorrow he’ll flip back. I used to think he did it so that he could say he was right either way, but now I think it’s just to mess with people that actually pay attention. So aside from the occasional call-out I think I’ll be done with the shenanigans. It was fun for a spell, but I’m over it.
  12. Yeah, it’s tough to get into football shape with only a week of practice, but Mongo would definitely bring a lift to the offensive line’s attitude in a game that they need to have.
  13. This reminds me of 2016 Stephon Gilmore talk—people on this board were absolutely incensed at his “poor” play (even though he allowed 2 TDs all season and a passer rating below 65). Regardless of how clearly the tape showed that he was doing his job and playing well, folks didn’t care. He was persona non grata and that was that. It appears that Edmunds is that guy now. I’d post clips and do some explaining, but (a) guys like Cover-1 and others have already done the work and (b) I’ve seen how this game ends.
  14. Agreed...Taron has actually been quietly getting better this season. He got beat up early on, and a lot of that was due to backups playing at LB who weren’t occupying underneath zones very well. Since Edmunds has been back, TJ has steadily been improving; this week is a critical game for him.
  15. There’s an entire thread with people assuming he’d be activated yesterday. Cut the 💩 already.
  16. Pass. He’s another Jordan Phillips—for all his size and athleticism he’s a lousy run defender. PFR has Worley allowing a passer rating of 154 this year 😲
  17. Well since yesterday was the deadline and he had already returned to practice, it was pretty apparent. Did you see a practice report with the status of Brown? We got Milano back last week.
  18. Smoke runs those cover-2 beaters to the boundary as well as anyone, and he’s a guy that Allen trusts a lot. His absence definitely makes a difference.
  19. The penalty was on Diggs—he covered up Gilliam, who was also on the LOS. Correct call and sloppy play by the Bills. Real shame because Josh Allen’s work from pre-snap through execution on that play could be used as an example of perfect QBing by any coach anywhere in the world.
