  1. he bidding stage is likely clearly defined, and probably includes multiple rounds.
  2. Pegula turfed everyone when the results didnt happen. He started rough, but seems to have learned on the fly. He tried to bring in the top FAs but they wouldnt sign (Richards, Suter, Parise, Doan). Now they are looking to stock up on drafted stars who are forced to be here and then once they are good, the top FAs will want to come here. pretty simple, and correct philosophy. The way the Sabres (and Bills) go with shooting for 8th -10th place is poison for the long-term. The foundation finally collapsed. Pegula wants to win. No doubt. Also he has shown a willingness to do what it takes financially. But we are going to root for trump because a stupid catch phrase on a terrible scripted reality show? Who is to say a willingness to quickly "fire" people every time things arent going your way is the right path?
  3. Looking at the new footage... We are lucky he fell where he did and nearly went through untouched. He did hit that guys head... I'm assuming it was the teacher... but it was kind of a glancing blow. I'm skeptical the injuries are overstated, but even as listed it could have been much worse
  4. I actually agree with the Gleason article. Its not too negative. Basically says that he needs to learn from what happened with the Sabres since he took over.
  5. Did he mean it could warn someone like mlse and bon Jovi to make a deal with a sugar daddy? (Rogers)
  6. Count me in on the "it was never funny" group.
  7. What happens when everyone agrees here? Is it the end?
  8. He isnt confirmed as part of that though, right? Its BJ and MLSE/Tannenbaum and Lieweke
  9. Rogers is a pretty big boogeyman out there. and like people say is a good sign: He is being very quiet
  10. Adam Benigni ‏@adambenigni · 5m Source tells me Jacobs and DNC now positioned to lead stadium effort here in Buffalo... DNC gaming interests prevent owning NFL team @wgrz Adam Benigni ‏@adambenigni · 3m Source tells me discussions have taken place in connection with potential Pegula bid, where Pegula owns team, Jacobs DNC leads stadium @wgrz
  11. I think Pegula should buy the Raptors and move them to Buffalo as well. Just to show Toronto what's up
  12. yeah, it would be foolish to actually "prepare" the bid before the valuation IMO. If Pegula is truly in the ring, I believe our only real threat is Rogers bidding or backing BJ and MLSE's bid and dropping stupid money. Rogers is worth almost $8 Billion
  13. This moment is the best i have felt about the bills future in like 15 years
  14. I feel like this is an intentional leak so El paguel can mark his territory
  15. Best case scenario. El pegual isn't the guy to sit around and wait for the value and get outbid. He is the one guy in our corner who will set the value
  16. I believe it is a lot of things. The most vocal people who say they wont go to a game because the atmosphere are the same people who wouldnt go anyway. It reminds me of the non-hockey fans who feel the need to criticize fighting in hockey as if they would watch it. Drama queens like Schopp and the Bulldog. It may be slightly worse. But its the product of the team IMO. When I go to concerts, I will have a bunch to drink, whatever, have fun... but if its an act I care about and want to preserve the memories... and not have to go to the bathroom... I will limit myself to 1 or 2 drinks all day. I can see this being true with the Bills games. If its a playoff game, or they are an exciting team gunning for New England... I would likely lay off and take it all in.
  17. Isnt concrete one of the most durable and everlasting man-made substances? (if not the most?)
  18. a guy from Boston quietly broke the story in November. Then nothing for awhile and it really heated up in January/February
  19. I think Leino came from all the newly found dollars and Richards not signing with buffalo and D'Arcy and pegula going after the next best fa in the worst possible year for that Holding onto ruff was D'Arcys worst crime imo. With a new voice they may have gotten more from the talent from 07 to 13 The decision this year to keep the prospects up while getting their doors blown off in front of a vocal hateful home crowd was also poor and likely what did him in.
  20. people in Buffalo wouldnt cuddle to that. No matter how warm and cozy Bon Joves/MLSE act.
  21. can this be related to the NYS putting a move on getting the engineers in identifying a stadium site?
