  1. im sick of the whole "they would have won anyway" or "oh well" attitude. This is just what they (apparently) got caught doing. God knows what goes on week-to-week for these advantages. People wonder why this team gathers misfits, botches draft picks, suffers giant injuries, yet still can get 1st round byes and win playoff games. Their home record also raises red flags IMO. you just watch and its all choreographed plays that seem to do the exact opposite of what the defense is going for. Last night it was at like a 95% clip. Nobody guesses right with that much efficiency.
  2. who knows how the game would have went though? They got to gameplan for it, and practice with the changed physics.
  3. the shout song is great. Almost everyone bellows it out and dances in unison. Its unique. Scrap that and you lose it forever
  4. we will be told "everybody does it" or "its not explicitly against the rulebook" or "youre just a biased Pats hater".... or "they won the game easily anyways" any one or more of those mantras will be fed and are already being fed. The NFL is in its best interest to make this go away and not taint the Superbowl so nothing will happen. No doubt. Our best hope is Irsay gets liquored up and makes a big deal out of it. I would be irate if I were the Colts. and yes, people wonder how the Patriots "do it" with all new casts of characters and misfits like Blount and plug and play on defense. No matter what injuries, FA losses, botched draft picks, here they are. I wonder how they do it..... hmmm.....
  5. I'm so sick of this. I would be furious if I were a Colts fan. With the knowledge of deflated fout balls the patriots could plan to pound it with Blount and throw short passes to edelman 500 times and also do things like dump it off to a tackle. Meanwhile that completely undermines indy's offense let alone they didn't have knowledge to plan for it. I'm sure the patriots also practiced all week for the change in physics (and also have likely done it before) Belichick should be out a year and also draft pix gone due to the recurrence of these things
  6. I'll be on the back 9 of my 40s by that point. The adjustment won't be completely unwelcome
  7. During the afternoon in autumn and winter, the sun typically appears toward the south, no? LookING at the current rws. The sun always seems to be over the southern upper deck there which would put it in the end zone of the cobblestone site
  8. Yup. It was sawyer. I believe it may have been the exchange street site?
  9. It's nice to be able to have the discussion without the relocation cloud
  10. Wow. No niagara falls. Big surprise. Not at all
  11. Renovating the Ralph is my 1st choice. Open stadium exchange street is number 2. If they are set on enclosed, Buffalo river is interesting
  12. I hope whatever "trends" that have gone into this "thing" and the anus-dome in Atlanta are done by the time the new Bills stadium is designed
  13. It looks like someone crudely photoshopted a roof onto joe robbie stadium
  14. I had friends in from Massachusetts who went and said that was one of the coolest moments they ever witnessed
  15. I just don't think we would draw (most dont) for a #3 sun belt vs #4 conference usa bowl matchup. Mac championship isn't leaving detroit. Ub won't draw enough. I don't see us getting the neutral site matchups jerry gets or atlanta or even indy. Yeah we would probably get a regional ncaa basketball one year. Maybe a final four someday.
  16. If we had the market to support ncaa neutral site games and bowl games I'd be all for it.
  17. I would lIke to see a rebranding of the mascot.
  18. The most fascinating to me is the eric Dickerson trade
  19. Yeah. For me, the ticket price is laughable. Like my friends and I sit there and literally laugh at the price. Definitely can't hit anywhere near the league averages though. At least overnight. The sabres method has been great to slowly climb from the bottom to about nhl average. Need to have a few good seasons though to create the whole perpetual demand and fan resale benefits of hanging on to their "spot In line"
  20. Very excited to see where it goes. I'm hoping for a centurylink style stadium. Outdoor, but protected from the elements a bit... a bit eastward from the arena. The county city and state will be asked to fund infrastructure and they will. Hopefully this will spawn a much needed public and privately funded convention center near the premesis. Also thinking there will be a brick and mortar amphtlitheater down there by the water within a decade. There we have the best of all worlds. Imo an indoor stadium here won't have a fraction of activity dallas, atlanta, indy, and even detroit have. What would be held there in winter months that the arena can't hold? Maybe a final 4 someday? On the flip side I would bet a new centurylink style holds multiple nhl outdoor weekends. Fan experience for the richies can and will be the same.
  21. If they build with a roof, I can't blame them. I would prefer a centurylink. Best of all worlds. I feel an indoor stadium sucks a lot of character out of teams. Last weekends games were all outdoors and in cold weather cities. I thought and always think that is a preferable backdrop as opposed to sterile dark and miscellaneous games you see in indy, dallas, detroit, etc. In a centurylink, fan experience will certainly be increased as will pricing. People have to remember though, our market doesn't allow for the typical widespread high end pricing. There will be suites and clubs for the top class indoor or out. Comparing December games in the early 90s to today is silly. Especially taking into account a centurylink type field will be a little smaller, somewhat protected with a roof, and in a much more accessible location than orchard park. 90s the stadium was huge. No Internet resale options or purchasing... or electronic tickets. The team was coming off of seasons where 20k fans was common. Nfl overall is much more popular now... and also we now have about 25% of fans coming from ontario and rochester that didn't exist in the 90s. Also take into account that opposing fans are much better traveled today. Look at the 93 sabres. Most exciting team in their history and they couldn't sell out the aud. It doesnt translate to today. 1 season where we win a division and have a home playoff game I guarantee we will see a cap in season tickets and a waiting list. Also I'm unsure of all these events an indoor would hold that an outdoor and func can't. Maybe a hypothetical final four... but on the other hand an outdoor stadium would hold nhl games I'm sure on a few occasions
  22. is #12 retired? I think they shoud retire #78 when they get around to it
  23. the bald guy I mean...
  24. isnt that Overdorf?
