  1. Bullfrog just let the world know that the 4-2 Cardinals are no good, thus making the Bills win completely unimportant in his eyes.
  2. Positive.... Bills won and they played pretty well. Most people thought they would lose. Front 4 played pretty well. Negative ..... The Brad Smith pass was a bad play call Super Negative....... having to listen to Shopp and the bulldog post game. as a bills fan i would like to celebrate. These morons are terrible. Bulllfrog doesn't realize that face guarding is a PI in the NFL.These ass clowns are horrible and always go negative. When the season started... someone told you the Bills would be 3-3 wouldn't you have thought that sounded right? At most 4-2. WGR is completely horrible. The Bills rallied and saved their season. This is possibly the worst post game show in NFL it's just a Sunday evening version of their bad weekday show. In the end it's about wins and losses. If you are areal fan you know the Bills won today.
  3. uhmm....until the defense is actually adequate...thanks. If you blame this game on fitz that's ridiculous
  4. Yes.... somebody finally acknowledged the fact that Fitz didn't lose us the game. His other 2 picks resulted in no points. (first half). Freddie and Spiller's turnovers hurt way more. The biggest problem is the defense . NE had 600 yds. of offense. Thats not Fitz. It's ridiculous to listen to this anymore. He's not a pro bowler for sure but he gets no credit when they win and gets blamed when the defense gives up 45 second half points.
  5. They left the huddle once in the KC game and he looked upset or confused. I thought there might be a rift too. This was before the TD reception. On TV I couldn't see if fitz was able to congratulate him after td. I have no beef w/ fitz or SJ and wondered if he was mad at Fitz about the calls. Looked like something was bugging him.
  6. OR maybe the game plan dictated that they run more against KC. Maybe they would have run more against Jets if they wouldn't have fallen behind and Defense would have made some stops. Maybe just maybe they planned on running more. I was completely pissed when Fitz ruined those drives by pulling the ball down and running for first downs. He's an idiot for doing that and what a crappy decision maker. Those last resort passes to Chandler and Stevie for TD's were purely a product of a clock being right twice a day. This guy Fitz is a complete jerk for embracing the Buffalo community, being accountable for himself and his play, having the respect of his teammates and busting his butt to win every week. I think we should all turn on this jerk of a neighbor, good father, husband, leader and football player. He's ridiculous. I totally can't stand him throwing for almost 4000 yds with broken ribs and never making an excuse last year. I thought it was just swell when we would have a 300 yd. passing game every 12 or 13 games. This guy Fitz is an idiot. He stinks. We need to all turn on him and waste our time complaining about him. Who needs guys like this on our team. We definitely should have drafted RG3 or Andrew Luck with a draft pick we didn't have. OR maybe we should have given up a couple of number 1's for a veteran guy like Carson Palmer. These scenarios really are plausible and make sense. I am very thankful that there are posters that have inside knowledge of what Coach Gailey is thinking and that he has told Fitz he is inadequate as a leader of men and as a QB. Thus they have decided to turn to that long lost , deceptive art of running the ball b/c we have nothing better than a department store mannequin as QB. Thanks for setting me straight so now I know what it means to be a real fan. I am grateful.
  7. Doesn't make sense to boo Fitz. He did suck last week but the defense sucked too. He had a bad game. He isn't an elite qb but he can get make some throws and read defenses and get you in the right play. Give us 14 more of that type of game we saw Sunday and I bet you we win more than we lose. Fitz is tough, kept drives alive when he had to with his feet, made some throws and missed some others. I did like that he didn't try to force it when nothing was there. The first pass to Chandler he spent too much time looking to the other side of the field. He picked up Chandler late and chucked the ball low were it couldn't be intercepted. Mellow out on Fitz and support your team. He's a capable QB who is smart and his teammates really like. He's a leader, family man and solid citizen. He always has his teammates backs.
  8. well for one...his very first game as a Bill versus Denver
  9. well for one...his very first game as a Bill versus Denver
  10. Does that also take into account balls that were tipped into the air by the receiver and then intercepted or times that he absolutely had to be in passing situation b/c of down and distance or score of the game? or times that he intentionally through the ball out of bounds to avoid a sack. Of course if he would have ate the ball and not thrown the incompletion we would be complaining b/c he was sacked. OR he could have dumped the ball off for 2 yards instead of taking off an running for 5 to increase that completion percentage. Better yet, let's have him worry so much about throwing the interception that he never takes a shot down field. Let's face it Fitz is a glorified back up b/c we all know enough about football through stats to know that he can't get any better and won't be any better next year. It's not like any of his receivers were hurt or anything either. I'm sure that your stats man counted the number of balls that were reachable and could have been caught too as well balls dropped. I once heard that coaches did that too. Finally, I am completely positive that the #1 draft pick that you want the Bills to draft will start, understand all of the nuances of Gailey's offense, be able to read defenses and audible, throw 20 td's and 5 picks, have a 63.78999999 completion percentage and have the respect of the team and command the huddle.
  11. Not to mention the mere fact that the offense is better because it isn't o simplex and they are able actually run 4 and 5 WR sets , use motion and multiple sets and formations. Plus... last time I checked they are playing a tougher schedule THIS year where 9 of the games are against different opponents. So basically there "statistical argument" is a joke. Neither reliable or valid. You can't compare the two years and determine if they are better or not based on the stats. The two years aren't the same. Stupid use of stats on their part.
  12. Just wondering when the owner said that.... do you have a link or quote? Seriously this isn't about the last 10 years it's about today and what's happening right now. are they turning the page? I don't know but your take is stupid and really the problem with most of the crap that's put out here. I'm glad you are a "Bills vet" but I would say most of us here are as well. My question is how come your stupid effing opinion actually matters and some other guy that looks at it a different way is so wrong? Just shut up an be a fan or decide not to. You are entitled to your opinion but just because someone says something different doesn't mean they are acting with "audacity". That would be like me calling you an idiot because of your opinion. You are entitled to it... just don't jam everybody else because they don't see it your way. Yes, I am a season ticket holder too so don't pull that ridiculous BS card on me when you reply. In fact just shut up and that would be great. it was a tough loss and most Bills fans would rather not deal with your selective crap.
  13. It is actually for wimps and at no time in any other professional sport do you see it happen. (ie) Dan gladden vs. NY Yankees w/ Charlie Hudson pitching. It also doesn't happen on any other play in football and never did happen until Shanahan pulled it out. No big deal really... in my eyes we beat the Chiefs today. It doesn't show up in the standings but realistically they lost and should feel lucky. I'm glad Chan didn't call time out and I also am glad Chan tried to pass the ball when we were close to FG range. BTW the holding call on Flowers could very well have been considered PI that far down field.
  14. what's your problem? Is this your first game? And yes some of us do leave our bottles for certain people that clean the lots. I don't park on RWS property but park in a nearby lot. We always pile our bottles up and leave them for the guy we call the "warrior". We usually feed him too. I don't know if this qualifies as helping the homeless but it is definitely realizing that not everybody is in the same situation and trying to treat people with respect.
  15. Please don't bring this crap up again...The NFL will never admit they screwed this up...look wher Wycheck is standing look where dyson catches the ball.. forward lateral period. Wycheck's arm goes sidewinder because he has huge pads on.. but look where his final release point is.... forward lateral. Listening to NFL films on this is stupid. Since this day I have never seen a play similar in dimension that wasn't called a forward lateral or a forward pass. Believe what you want brother.
  16. uhmmm. yeah Nebraska is really good and 3 out of 7 drives started at the 20, 20, and the 24.Another started on their own 37. No Nebraska drive started in Washington territory. That isn't the short field. Locker threw one in the gut of Nebraska DB and when faced with pressure routinely threw the ball high. It was a good game if you are Huskers fan wish you would have watched it.
  17. Fans are more docile than years ago... they are a traditional AFL rival and play off rival of the 90's. I have been to the last 3 Bills/Chiefs games there. I go with Chief's fans as my wife is from KC and we live here. Generally treated well
  18. yeah... you probably shouldn't leave. this board needs your perspective. Thanks for being a BILL and a BILLS fan. Used to be that Bills fans would come to a site for information because they couldn't get enough. Now, it seems people have to degrade players, not only their play but them as human beings. Some people try to be funny, some are just pissed at the world. Some players deserve criticism for their personal misgivings others are rarely recognized for being good guys and doing charitable things. A couple of examples... last season I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Kelsay's Dad in the parking lot of Arrowhead stadium. He drove down from Nebraska to watch his son play. He saw my tailgating contingent and came over to hang out and say how much he admired Bills fans. His dad was wearing a carhart jacket and said he needed to get back to Nebraska b/c he had to work the next day. He hung out and talked to us for 25 minutes. Jason Whittle is another example... I used to read negative things about him too. Yeah, he was hurt etc... yeah he was the first FA signed by Marv Levy... yeah, he also played on a superbowl team and started. Fantastic guy, came to my school when I was Assistant Principal and talked to the entire school about setting goals and achieving the unthinkable. Both these individuals are class acts but through the years I have read so much negativity about them where posters challenge their manhood etc... Everyone is entitled to their opinion and they also have the right to not be fans, it doesn't mean players need to be personally attacked. Hopefully tou'll stick around DIE HARD
  19. Really? You know this b/c you have actually returned punts in the NFL? If you have, more power to you but if you haven't there is absolutely no way you can make that statement and have it be valid. It's easy to sit back and watch and then be critical.
  20. Right...he sucked with the Bills..stupidest statement made today. We went to the play offs 2out of the3 years he started for us. Granted he didn't put up sick numbers but he won and he understood football and made his teammates better, including the O-line.
