  1. I like both of the above mocks, however, I'm not sure the top 2 TEs in the draft will be there in round 3
  2. Sorry, I just don't see it happening John: as much as they'd like to spite us, I don't think they can afford to.
  3. you nailed it Dork, my thoughts exactly.....we can't win for losing, as they say Gunning for the hottest commodity? A little bit of a reach, IMHO. Compared to the years past of the Bills FO doing nearly nothing in the offseason and letting core players walk, of course it would appear Whaley's a gunslinger.....it's all relative; but when you stop and think critically about it, he is smartly managing the cap and building in areas of critical, defined need. A home run in my book. And please cite an example of a coveted FA in today's market who does not get overpaid - Whaley is hardly alone doing this. It's the cost of doing business, or, more aptly, opportunity cost.
  4. not sure if this has been posted upthread, as I don't have time to read through all the pages, so I apologize in advance: "NFL Media columnist Michael Silver reports that the Dolphins' last offer for Clay was four years for $27 million, including less than $14 million guaranteed. That offer came after Cameron signed." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000479677/article/charles-clay-signs-offer-sheet-with-buffalo-bills So it would appear there is no way he stays with Miami unless they up their offer. We are higher in term, avg. $/yr., and guaranteed $ I believe. To the naysayers, we are going after a multi-faceted TE, a huge position of need for an offense in which he can fit hand in glove - and we hurt Miami in the process. What's not to like?
  5. I really don't think leg fatigue is an issue kicking a few times a game
  6. +1 definitely, agreed Van.......GB is the Buffalo of the NFC. Always root for the Pack (when they are not playing Buff).
  7. glad someone said it before I could....another in a long litany of inane off-season topics to drum up conversation - now, about Rex's foot fetish thing.....
  8. it's a long offseason, and from what I have heard, quite a crappy winter in B-LO
  9. not only that, but the expectation of a high level of activity to address known needs, and Whaley delivering on those expectations with conviction, is a breath of fresh air and the complete opposite of what we experienced during the RW years, God bless his soul. The days of watching other teams making moves are long gone, and it feels great. I'd be surprised if the Bills did not grade out to having the top offseason, or damn near close to it.
  10. Jax anointing Lee with player/coach to help St. Doug with the OL

  12. A vital cog of that dynamic 2 TE set the Bills run ....
  13. please tell us you are joking, or are at least attempting sarcasm....
  14. that is freaking epic BillsVet !! to think otherwise would tell me "someone has a case of the Mondays"
  15. you should change your screen handle to the Utah Prophet well done sir, well done
  16. Any evidence or rumors to support this theory, or is it still pure conjecture? quote name="mellaman101" post="3479856" timestamp="1425530928"] Kiko wanted out of Buffalo and he also now has 2 reconstructed knees... Goodbye
  17. Again, would be extremely interested to learn if there was a back story....
  18. the point I rebutted was that Kiko was "not good enough" to play MLB; I stand by my proposed correction that it was a matter of him not being big enough to play the Mike. Why do you think the Bills plan was to move him outside before he tore his ACL ?
  19. hate to break it to you, but Kiko wasn't DROY - http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000321595/article/sheldon-richardson-wins-defensive-rookie-of-the-year
