  1. what exactly does a football player do to become a "piranha" in the eyes of his coach? Oh, my bad ~ you meant pariah.........
  2. I loved the B on B - and so did Peter King (from his weekly MMQB): Claimed on waivers only because of an injury to starter Leodis McKelvin, Thigpen provided the spark the Bills needed to start their surprising win over Green Bay. A vision in blue with two minutes left in the first quarter—the Bills’ all-blue uniforms are keepers; if I were club president Russ Brandon, I’d move to make that my home uni in 2015—Thigpen took a Tim Masthay punt at the Buffalo 25, zigged out of traffic up the left hashmark, zagged to the left sideline and sprinted almost unbothered for a 75-yard touchdown, giving Buffalo a 7-3 lead. A gorgeous play, bordering on effortless, and vital to a 21-13 Buffalo win.
  3. Do you have any data to back this up? I find your comment very hard to believe....
  4. No Billy Joe Hobert ? Sorry, these training camp hypotheticals are becoming the death of me....
  5. check out #3 ......and it's not Marrone http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000440860/article/jim-harbaugh-headlines-nine-guys-who-should-be-on-the-way-out
  6. the Saskatchewan Roughriders
  7. what was almost worse were Orton's comments after the game- when asked about the slide, he mentioned he should have tried to throw the ball to gain the 1st down.....no mention of him saying he should have manned up and found a way to gain the extra yard. Total cop-out.

  9. Can someone please tell me who the personal foul was on? Marron does not have a handle on this team....totally undisciplined
  10. Despite all the flak we give Hackett, I like the game he is calling so far
  11. Once again the refs directly impacting the outcome on the field with a terrible call. Is the fix in already ?
  12. I was at that game with my bro, Dad, and Uncle at the ripe old age o 13 - thanks for the post ! Chris Brown = the Cap'n Obvious of Bills' beat reporters.....
  13. No offense taken at all ....thanks
  14. ahem, read the note above my pic and tell me if that makes sense. I had to move to SF to job-hunt but did not feel the need to change my handle.... thanks brother, I owe my parents a visit.....I hope this trip comes true. Ya never know !

  16. gosh, I don't know..... that's been a burning question of mine all week --
  17. There is no evidence to suggest that MW "hates" Marrone, nor is he misunderstanding the chain of command.Frankly, if I was in his shoes on this team, with a suck-ass popgun offense (dead least in the RZ), I'd be inclined to give a candid answer when asked by a reporter. This is the complete opposite of most pro players who give a scripted, rehearsed, vanilla answer. As long as MW is not being a disruptive ass to the team, which to my knowledge he is not, then I have no problem with him stating his position. He believes in his abilities and wants to help his team win....period. For a great summary, I like FearTheLosing's take: "Regardless, seems so lame to keep a known red zone scoring talent like Williams inactive or only on special teams for any reason. The stupidity of the current offensive coaching staff is unbelievable, and I can't hardly wait for the off season." But let's keep rolling out a game-day spot for that kickoff specialist.....classic
  18. what crap is he saying other than responding truthfully to what we all can see? There is no damn reason given by the the team as to why a guy with mad hops and gets open does not even get activated for games. Anything to improve our God-awful RZ offense should be worth a try. You guess he doesn't get what??? That he doesn't stick to the party line when asked? I am really curious as to your line of thinking.
  19. I stopped reading at post # 6 : "I imagine we will put Kyle in the fecal position a few times." And I thought some TSW posters had some grammatical challenges.....
  20. was he born in Syria ...?
  21. I'm confident that Dareus will rally and have a beast game; not so sure about Sammy; that said, would you give Caveman a shot instead of the decoy we've been seeing with Sammy operating at 75-80 % Thoughts?
