  1. I just want to thank everyone for the overwhelming response, feel free to keep them coming but just wanted to say how much I appreciate everyone recommending things to check out, right now I have a list of about 15-20 things. I know people say there's not much to do in Buffalo, but IMO it's like any other place, it is what you and your friends and family make of it. 🍺
  2. Yeah, it just sort of lucked out with us both being bachelors, being long-time friends, and the Bills being this good, no matter what it would be fun. Also just an update FYI, Paula's Donuts is already a staple visit every time we're in Buffalo, we hit up Mulberry's on special wins, I haven't tried Bar Bill yet. We've had all the mac and cheese from Mooney's. Want to try Sinatra's, San Remo, and Tappo next.
  3. So a buddy and myself have been kicking around the idea of renting a house in Buffalo for the season, I work remotely and he's a traveling doctor. I'm usually in Buffalo a few times per year for games, we're renting from August to February. I was hoping I could get some suggestions on things to check out in the area, sightseeing, things going on, etc, between August and February, I know after November December it becomes a lot less likely to do as much outdoors, but wanted to hear some local feedback. I've done Niagara, Letchworth, and many of the local Buffalo parks, but was hoping to hear and visit some things I haven't heard much or anything about. Any suggestions are much appreciated! Go Bills! 🙏 We have a house already there and have season tickets, looking for suggestions of things to check out outside of those things.. including food recs. I haven't tried Bar Bill but have had Duff's, the mac and cheese place near Batavia, love all types of food so.
  4. LOL this thread did go 5 pages 😂 Alright fine I'll give you a Rob Johnson take: He was a great practice player. He never developed the confidence when real NFL defensive pressure was applied to him. That's why he never worked out. Dude had ample opportunities handed to him, all the intangibles, and never locked it in.
  5. Bruce Smith Lil Dirty Joe Pesci 😎
  6. Austin was signed to fill in the role Sanders was playing, the upside is he's a few years younger and has more speed. I think he makes the team over Kumerow. He's looked good in practices the last few days.
  7. IMO the video maker totally redeemed themselves with the Lion King video.
  8. Every day I think this board can't amaze me anymore and then *poof* it surprises me
  9. Tbh I'm fine being a humble fan base or trash-talking fan base all the way to the Super Bowl 😎😈
  10. Are they taking a while to arrive? I ordered one two weeks ago and still haven't received it.
  11. We just need one more WR.... OBJ. 😎🍺⚡ Happy Friday folks!
  12. not me but a win is a win!!!
  13. Clay Travis? This seems like manufactured headlines to me. ESPN is fine. He's had out for them for a while plus he works for their competitor Fox Sports. He's also excessively political for a sports show and that's where his obsession with them began, when Kaepernick was kneeling and ESPN dared to talk about it. He also calls himself a "civil war historian".
  14. As someone who worked in retail for 10 years, this is very accurate. I managed a place once and had a lady throw a fit because I wouldn't honor a coupon that expired over a year before. Literally tried to get me fired, then tried to get my employees fired because they wouldn't honor it either, made the whole thing a 3-day drama, so stupid. She thought we were being too rude telling her the coupon expired, but the issue was, as she said verbatim "The customer is always right." 🙄
  15. But I'm a fan and being rational isn't as fun sometimes when it's a slow news cycle like right now. I'll be happy with any Super Bowl, but I want 4-5, lol. I do think he gets more criticism than he deserves though.
  16. That thumbs up photo may be the most animated I've ever seen Leslie Frazier.
  17. If we win the Super Bowl, I think McD has earned the right to stay for a few more years. If we lose in the playoffs, it depends, if it's game mismanagement like in KC, then maybe. McD will wind up somewhere else and be successful, he's a very young coach who compares nicely with KC's Reid in his early years, it's just that he's really competing with football minds that have a 15-20 year experience advantage over him. When I look at McD's progress from a DC in Carolina to his HC years in Buffalo, I see continued growth, and I'm a loyal enough Bills fan to be vocally greedy about wanting a dynasty, not just one Super Bowl, but 4-5 at least... and I see the potential of him doing that. I think he gets unfair pressure, if we didn't make the playoffs I would be concerned, but if you look at his pattern of growth, I don't think we have anything to worry about.
  18. Yeah let's not pretend there hasn't been a rise in these cases and we actually care about it when nothing gets done. Both sides will politick the hell out of this and we will be lucky if there are any real solutions.
  19. he was the best player on florida's team
  20. The belief we lost the game as a result of 13 seconds, and not the other 59 minutes in the game, proves why we're one of the most naive fan bases.
  21. his number is 19, I'd go with "Prime" 😎
  22. Can we cut Haack? I think that saves over $1m in cap
  23. When they write a book about our Super Bowl season, this thread should be discussed. You should all take a shot, over 2,000 replies to the original post... 🍺
  24. I wish these long threads had summary updates every new page.
