if we were to get cousins for him to be successful...like any qb...will come from drafting.

it's funny how the texans fired him after they lose bouye to free agency. that defense also lost so much talent it's hard for anyone to look good. I think this is a solid hire.

denver is high enough to get a rookie as are the jets and maybe even the skins. they could use the cap space to sign other guys. we're just having fun with it no need to trash the city.

to get him the skins would have to transition tag him and the bills would have to send a crazy deal to him...6 year 150 mil all guaranteed. then you draft well and win. it's funny. people look at the pats and earlier this year say they won't win it all because their defense was getting shredded. yet, they don't want to sign cousins cause he can't do it all and win by himself. You give him a good defense and you will win a lot of games.

All teams go through injuries and we've been pretty lucky the last couple seasons to be honest. But the way you read around here we're the only ones going them.

i think they'd keep hughes and let him develop behind the end in the rotation. cutting hughes does save almost 5 mil but i think it'd be worth to keep him another year and hope shaq can replace him after this season.

Many thought they exaggerated his height but with all the info out there today I think that's a thing of the past. It was rounded up sure but it's not the 2-3 inches we've seen in the past.

hopefully the eagles and their analytics guy in the ear of the staff can keep them dialed in. that eagles defense is stout against the run which is very important playing the pats. if their run game is going they will destroy you. if it's just the pass game you can be in the game. if the eagles just run all over em and burn that clock it's a game.

the problem is the cheating involved. he didn't do it clean so you can take at least the first 3 off and who knows if another scandal comes out.

i think the margin of difference in that list is small. it's not like there is this huge difference between many of them

great response. look at rivers. tons of yards and tds but never does anything cause they have no defense. russell wilson threw for a ton this year but lost his defense. see a pattern here? we know cousins can put up nice numbers with hardly any talent on his offense. i think it's a reasonable risk to sign him and let our new gm surround him with all those picks we have. if cousins comes here and puts up 4200 yards, 28 tds and 13 picks would you hate the contract? especially if our gm can do what he did with our secondary to our front seven? i'd forget all about that contract real quick

i'd pay cousins that money all day long. it's all about putting a great team around him. was brees worth the money the last few years going 7-9 and 8-8 or whatever? then they draft 3 great rookies in kamara, lattimore and the saferty and boom...big run game and nice defense. they win a bunch of games and one bad play from being in the nfc title game. in pitt big ben has two HOF players around him on offense...one who might be the best wr ever. the defense is stacked as well. we could pay him the money...draft well and we will look like new orleans was this year. or we could pay him the money and not draft well and look like new orleans the last few years. that's what it comes down to.

that's tough man. i didn't have to do it for my last dog as she passed on her own but i was a couple days away from having to take her in. she was 15. i took my dog once to the vet and they actually had me leave him in a cage and not be with him when they did it. i obviously regret that.
