  1. Keenum missed an easy 6. He is not good. Tyrod missed the same throw.
  2. So much for deferring
  3. Another big third down
  4. Goodwin's useless, really. Can't get open, can't catch when he does.
  5. Why didn't they call timeout after the catch omg
  6. TT had all that open field in front of him....
  7. Way to come home, Bobby.
  8. We were on the 30 but okay let's exaggerate some more.
  9. This all started when they decided not to go for it on fourth and short. Can't get two feet, might as well go home. I don't care if it's on the road in our own end. One play later it didn't matter anyway. Completely changed momentum.
  10. Why are their fans yelling when they have the ball? I mean, I know they haven't had football in 20 years but come on.
  11. On the replay, as you say, there is no contact to his head before it hits the turf. My issue was this: He looked like he took a little nap right after hitting the turf, and wobbled to his feet. How was that not a concussion protocol play? Did the refs decide not to do it because they knew the Pats* didn't have another QB? (Which shouldn't be the refs' problem, btw.)
  12. Local boy, from Penn Yan. Amazing stat: he and his high school teammate, Cris Crissy (a star at Princeton) were both drafted by the Patriots in 1981 and both played in the league. As rare as it is for any kid from WNY to make it to the NFL, for a little high school like that to send TWO? From the same class year? Pretty unbelievable. Most current NE fans don't even know who Steve Grogan and John Hannah were, let alone Tony Collins.
  13. He always looks like he thinks he might have stepped in dog ****.
  14. This. And Edelman got chased down by a linebacker.
  15. I think the win's secure now. I just want the shutout so !@#$ing bad.
  16. Omg that spot was the biggest hose job EVER
  17. Late hit on Tate. But the refs have been pretty fair both ways. It's not the fourth quarter yet tho.
  18. I was unaware there was any argument about their "legacies"!
  19. I bet that WAS the initial main reason for the lower bowl standing all the time. People directly behind the benches couldn't see, so they stood up, so people behind them had to stand, and then it was just monkey see monkey do for the rest of the lower bowl. I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but I agree most with the poster who said STANDING DOES NOT MAKE YOU LOUDER. It does not make you a better fan, either. So why do you stand, other than to see over someone else who is standing for no reason? My father is 74 years old and my son isn't yet tall enough to see over you. We stand during defensive third downs and great plays. We get it. Stand out of pure joy and excitement. Don't just stand to be an asshat. Anyway, I remember having to deal with the same arguments from people who smoked at the game, after they banned smoking in the stands. "I bought a ticket, I can do what I want. If you don't like it then stay home." So, for the most part these days, I do. We had season tickets in row 1 of the upper deck during the mid-90s. It was beautiful. One of our party even made a set of cupholders in his woodshop that we brought to games and hooked over the front railing to hold our beers. Our neighbors loved it so the guy made some for them too. Then they rejiggered everything during the renovation and we got moved back, among a bunch of Canadians who thought it was great sport to smuggle in as many beers as possible, smoke, and root only for FLOOTIEBALL, EH. That was the last year we had tickets.
  20. Howie Long called the Cards "a lock" before the game. How you like them now Howie. Oh, and 51-3.
  21. finally over.
  22. Could've run more time off the clock there just by chucking it.
  23. This game isn't over.
