  1. Ed’s thoughts on the practice Wednesday…
  2. More from Parrino…”With Ed Oliver out this week, it appears the Bills are planning to elevate Zion Logue off the practice squad. I caught up with DaQuan Jones after practice today and he said he's excited for Logue, the former sixth round pick the Bills added last year off Atlanta's practice squad, to get another opportunity. -Matt”
  3. More from Oliver yesterday…via Parrino. ” Oliver did an interview after practice yesterday where he spoke about the nature of the practice as the Bills were in pads. When asked about the defense's struggles last week, Sean McDermott said on Wednesday that the week of practices needed to be hard.”
  4. McD just said on WGR that Ed will not play. So…apparently he got stepped on in practice on Wednesday.
  5. Hello everyone, Matt here. Bills injury news as Ed Oliver was in a walking boot in the locker room and needed a scooter to get around. The team held a walk through today so the injury report is more of an estimation but this is a significant development on the heels of Oliver's dominant performance against the Ravens. Oliver did an interview after practice yesterday where he spoke about the nature of the practice as the Bills were in pads. When asked about the defense's struggles last week, Sean McDermott said on Wednesday that the week of practices needed to be hard.
  6. With Josh Allen here, logic says the best and the brightest coordinators would love to get a shot to be a coordinator… on either side of the ball.
  7. McBeane has had plenty of drafts to find our own ‘mainstays’…
  8. Just under 5 minutes, not breaking news obviously, just solid reporting.
  9. My apologies if posted already… Matthew Coller, former WGR550 staffer, who covers the Vikings, spoke with Schopp about Cine in depth. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/schopp-and-bulldog/id1142031491?i=1000667202515
  10. ^^^^^^^^^^^ No, what Marino was saying ‘can Carter do enough to convince the FO that they don’t need to carry a 5th DT as well?’ 🙂
  11. Discusses: Reasons for the pluses & minuses of OL play… Also breakdown of Ray Davis, James Cook and he watched every snap of Keon’s…some “teachable moments”. He really liked the play Shakir, Sedrick Van Pran Granger & Tylan Grable, also got into the Morris/Zach Davidson competition. Liked Dewayne Carter’s play, wonders if he can do enough so they can roster 4 DT’s & 6 DE’s. Liked Javon Solomon’s run defense, said Austin Johnson & Kingsley Jonathan were also pluses. Said Daequan Hardy made an amazing play in the red zone against the run, also strong in pass D. Dorian Williams, KJ Hamler and MVS’ play and some other backups were also briefly analyzed.
  12. Coach Aaron Kromer’s daughter used to work there. That’s how Marino got sit down time with her Dad.
  13. From Matt Parrino Shout Buffalo Football Podcast insider text line - A feisty rep between Keon Coleman and Ja'Marcus Ingram was a highlight of the day. The ball didn't even go in that area of the field but the two were pushing and shoving and it spilled all the way off the field and into the defensive sideline. The defense made a ton of noise as the two battled. Coleman came back on the next route and appeared to beat Ingram with a nice route/move, but the ball went to the other side.
  14. True, it took Andy Reid awhile. But, once he got a Josh Allen like superstar qb, it didn’t take him long at all.
  15. Early today on The Herd Cowherd’s sidekick Jason McIntyre (IIRC he’s a big Jets fan) was bashing Bflo’s 2024 outlook and specifically Poyer’s Josh comments and adding that Buffalo lost a lot of very good players and saying ‘is there a worse wr corp in the league?’ Plus mocking MVS and Claypool specifically. So Cowherd said “what’s he (Poyer) supposed to say?” He also brought up weapons Kincaid and Knox. And, ‘how do you know they didn’t replace (our cuts) them with great players in the draft?’ He kept saying to McIntyre “Buffalo is going to be fine.”
  16. I was very surprised that Nagy wrote Carter could push to start as a rookie!
  17. 🦬 DS Cole Bishop (Rd. 2/Pick 60)- Athletic interchangeable safety should be Day 1 starter & long-term staple with Pro Bowl upside. Man-cover reps in Mobile helped boost his stock. Top jersey-seller. 🦬 DT DeWayne Carter (Rd. 3/Pick 95)- Instinctive, active & powerful 3-tech is immediate rotational piece & could push for starting job at some point as rookie. Likely eventual captain & mayor of Buffalo. 🦬 RB Ray Davis (Rd. 4/Pick 128)- Instantly upgrades No. 2 RB spot as more physical 3-down compliment to James Cook. Sneaky fantasy TD vulture. 🦬 LB Edefuan Ulofoshio (Rd. 5/Pick 160)- Top-testing & A+ character three-down backup who will play right away on ST. Native Alaskan ready for cold temps. ❄️ 🦬 DE Javon Solomon (Rd. 5/Pick 168)- Sawed-off & powerful FBS sack leader has rush talent to earn rotational role first year. Looser version of Bryce Huff coming out of college. Easy choice as media & fan favorite.
  18. I heard former OL Brian Baldinger repeat this yesterday… (No surprise) that he said that when you draft your franchise qb, you get him all the help you can. Rather than make a prediction, I hope in the next few years the ‘get him all the help you can’ part becomes the #1 priority here.
  19. Analytics & scouting guru Brett Whitefield reverses his opinion on Keon.🙂 His portion begins at the 16min40sec mark. He also raves about Ray Davis. Whitefield’s background www.fantasypoints.com
  20. Too many pages to look thru, but ICYMI here is Cover1’s (Erik & Ant) breakdown from 2 weeks ago on Keon. 5 min.
  21. Kirk Cousins approves of these QB draft consultations… 😄
