  1. His kickoff today with the holder traveled about 85-90 yards in the air. I'm wondering exactly how long of a GWFG he'd be allowed to try. Those kicks in Arizona from 55+ were crossing the crossbar about 3/4 up the uprights too.
  2. One of those replays that mysteriously got lost. From what I saw White dragged Herbert down by the ankles from behind as Herbert was running away which is absolutely not the same as illegally hitting the QB low in the pocket.
  3. Kinda interesting to me how the Bills and Bears are linked as being the two teams that most notably passed on Mahomes but our yield was Tre and Josh and theirs was Trubisky.
  4. What I always wonder is if there's some sort of secret memo sent out about which QBs to protect and which to not, or if it's mostly just the refs' implicit bias like the same way that good hitters get smaller strike zones.
  5. Line seems about right. They're getting healthier but Mullens is backup caliber and Kittle missing is still enormous.
  6. Remember when the Bears were 5-1? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
  7. We were really the first team to make him look normal.
  8. Part of that is because watching one of their games feels like it takes 12 hours.
  9. Bass has gone from liability to asset in no time flat. Not only the two clutch kicks today but he consistently put the ball where he wanted to on kickoffs and typically put the Chargers around the 20 yard line.
  10. I think the Browns are the worst AFC team that will make the playoffs this year.
  11. What I don't get is coaches who make mind-numbingly stupid decisions like how the Chargers ran it on the 2 yard line with 20 seconds left and no timeouts needing two scores. Like, 1,000 out of 1,000 casual fans knew that was wrong. How does it happen?
  12. He was rushing and diving at pylons after that. He's fine. He NEEDS to stop hero ball in all but desperate situations though.
  13. It's moments like that where I'm glad I don't have kids yet. I don't know how I would have explained that to them.
  14. As far as I can tell he's never been used as a blitz specialist, more as a run thumper. Maximum credit to Leslie Frazier for understanding Klein's potential in getting after the QB.
  15. Tyreek Hill is dragging my team to a first round playoff bye in fantasy all by himself this season.
  16. The Chiefs are just an absolute juggernaut and will be for a long time.
  17. I think people have to be themselves though. He's a family and love dude so if he starts hurling chairs around and sticking fingers in players faces it would seem fake. So far his philosophy is a well above .500 one so it is what it is.
  18. One thing that's becoming clear - we had an awesome draft.
  19. It was ugly but the win was still predicated on our guys making big plays. Klein, Tre, Oliver, Beasley to Davis. We were still the better team.
  20. Not McD's style to rip the team after a win but the weekly practice and film study needs to be intense.
  21. I know how everything gets hyperbolized right after a game but this isn't hyperbole - that penalty against Moss on our last drive was the worst flag I've ever seen.
  22. There are such a high percentage of one score games in the NFL that no two score victory is ever "barely". But we certainly didn't dominate.
  23. It was ridiculous. They targeted him against Winters constantly.
  24. We held one of the league's top 10 offenses to 17 points after we coughed up the ball 3 times on 3 straight possessions. That was an effort on par with the 2019 defense.
  25. 2nd half defense won this game.
