  1. There’s going to be a new stadium?
  2. A lot of guys made one big play yesterday while Kincaid and Shakir carried the water. I laud their contributions. It's all well and good, except that we're still missing the equivalent of that Josh to Diggs connection on "gotta have it" 3rd and 4th downs. Any argument that we're somehow better off without an elite WR is just coping with the fact that we don't have one. That's my issue with the everybody eats phrase...it's a matter of circumstance, not intention.
  3. Cole Bishop had 3 passes defended in his first 23 games leading up to yesterday. He had 4 yesterday. I'm fascinated to see if this is going to be a one game blip or if the switch has gone off in his head.
  4. Absolutely hammered him and it was a completely legal hit to boot, even with that ridiculous "body weight" standard. AJE rolls off at the final moment. And I'm STILL shocked it wasn't flagged.
  5. One thing you have to say about this McBeane administration is that they've created the most positive, family-like locker room in football. And not in the "coach lets us do what we want" way, either. It's a fantastic situation for being perpetually ahead of the game in FA acquisitions.
  6. It seems that a lot of this fan base simply doesn’t enjoy regular season football anymore, even the more impressive wins.
  7. This little switcheroo you're trying to pull is making me anxious.
  8. You know Cook is an all-pro type now because it didn't even feel like he did very much, but you look up and he hung 100 yards on a Spags defense.
  9. I gotta say, after that game we really can't claim that the NFL is not allowing teams to hit Mahomes.
  10. I need to see more. I read from some very reliable sources here on TBD that his wife's anxiety will continue to limit him.
  11. This absolutely sucks. He was making a difference out there. Suddenly Javon Solomon was getting snaps after Hoecht's exit and you could see the push decrease.
  12. I remember in the early 2010’s my friend who’s a diehard Cubs fan explained that he couldn’t even enjoy regular season success because it only made him wonder how they’d blow it in the playoffs. Then 2016 came along.
  13. Not that I want Pacheco to be hurt, but the Chiefs luck is just unreal. They’ve recovered all 8 of their own fumbles this year. RB gets popped in the knee? Magically better 30 seconds later.
  14. I hate to say it, but this game will end something like 28-10 KC. With Mariota moving the ball unexpectedly well and picking Mahomes off twice, you really need to go into halftime up by a couple scores.
  15. Why do refs always huddle up to call obvious groundings like a minute after the fact?
  16. I tell ya, all this slow motion of knees going down at or near the line to gain is scintillating entertainment.
  17. I saw a stat that said Dowdle is the #1 RB after contact in the NFL and that Chuba Hubbard is the absolute worst, and yet the Panthers are forcing a split carry situation presumably because they refuse to let Hubbard lose his job due to an injury.
  18. Not only is Cook a top-3 RB in the league but almost every player on the offense is a better contributor to a rushing attack than a passing one. The OL are exceptional run blockers, Jackson Hawes is a revelation in this capacity, even the WR group blocks better than it catches.
  19. It is kind of crazy how his presence on the field essentially means he’s getting the ball and yet the opposition can’t stop it. You’d think that level of predictability wouldn’t fly.
  20. They definitely played well. I think AJE making his play was the lynchpin because suddenly Dalton needed to mount an impossible comeback. If it had stayed a one possession game at that point, Rico Dowdle would have impacted the game.
  21. I don't mind it. The Brady era gave way so quickly to the Josh era and there hasn't been a proper division rivalry in the AFC East for years and years.
  22. I don't even think Tyrod is a serviceable backup, he just may look it in comparison to the utter depravity that is Justin Fields at QB.
  23. Our first round draft pick of a WR, in a game we trailed the entire game... 2 rec, 11 yards
