I think Columbia has been the most impressive so far. But really, anyone that advances has a legit shot. I'm going South America though, Columbia, Brazil, Argentina are my 3 picks.

That's great. "What the hell is this crap." What a way to start it off. On the flip side, this one is awesome on the other end of the spectrum (but 80s so can't go in the other thread). Love how he doesn't know who it is at first even though he wears their T-shirt. Classic. http://youtu.be/GQb0gr8Y82Y

It's on like a mofo: NBA edition...Lebron opts out of Miami
Mark80 replied to Buftex's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I'm looking beyond the stats here man (which is strange for me because I'm typically a very big numbers guy). The shots he takes now are pretty much always wide open shots. Shooting .516 overall and .339 3 pointers as an NBA player is NOT impressive to me when all you take are open shots. LeBron shot .567 / .370 last season. Pretty much every shot he takes is contested (unless he blows by a guy and dunks it). I'm sure you aren't saying Bosh is even close to the level of LeBron, but hopefully you get my point a little bit. -
It's really the Orchestral cover of that song done by their Manager at the time. It's really obvious in it.
-
Well, that's dumb. It would be like Texas and New York fielding their own squads. They need to look themselves in the face, see that they can't really compete with the status quo and start a new tradition...one of winning.

And speaking of Bale, why doesn't England play as Great Britain so they could take advantage of player like him? Burying him and Ramsey on the Welch squad is such a shame. They play as Great Britain in the Olympics and most other international sport competitions. Edit: Oh, guess they don't in most other international sports then huh?
-
I understand Bale, Tottenham is not as flush with cash as the others and I didn't know Man U was in debt when they sold Ronaldo so I can understand that now, but LIverpool has tons of cash and so does Arsenal and they sold Van Persie to a big time rival?
-
I don't get it. Didn't they just re-sign him to an extension this year? Yep: http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbadenhausen/2013/12/20/liverpool-signs-controversial-luis-suarez-to-75-million-contract/ I don't understand why clubs like Liverpool would sell a player like this (well, at least before yesterday's game when this article was published). Arsenal selling Van Persie to Man U? Man U selling Renaldo to Real Madrid? It's not like these teams can't afford these guys, just doesn't make sense to me sometimes. It would be like the Patriots selling Brady to the Jets in 2005. Craziness.

That's great. "Macarroni, Spaghetti, Meatballs."

That is great. Know your place. Awesome. Much better than sitting through the rest of their crap. I remember going to a Black Crowes show at Darien Lake around 2001 or so. They didn't play any of their hit songs from Shake Your Money Maker, but only new songs that no one had ever heard before. I was so pissed. Luckily Oasis was the headliner and killed it after. Know your place, please the crowd.

For me, it's hands down the Singles movie soundtrack. Epic. The Presidents of the United States - Peaches Ugly Kid Joe - Cats in the Cradle (cover)

Yeah man, I agree completely. I always hated this song, even when it was popular. Not exactly sure why though. Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffany's

See, that doesn't make sense to me at all. As a third option he should play better in my opinion as they are trying to stop James and Wade more. I'm not talking about PPG or anything like that, I'm talking about him missing open shots all the time, his refusal to play inside (coached not to perhaps?), and his lack of influence on D. He would be wide open, have a second to shoot and I'd think to myself, here's a miss, and sure enough, more often than not it seemed like he missed jumpers outside 10ft and out. I don't know, maybe it's because I was at Wake while he was at GT and he looks like one of the raptors (appropriate from his drafting team) on Jurassic Park, I just don't get him and peoples love of him. -
Also a big reason that Basketball is very popular internationally and growing at a very high rate.

Like yours, but personally these are my choices from those great bands. Hated seeing that commercial butchering Gigantic recently. And it was one of those commercials that was on over and over and over. Which reminds me, how about The Breeders - Cannonball?

Especially since he already took less than a maximum contract to join the Heat in the first place, as did Wade and Bosh. Why anyone would have paid Bosh a max contract is beyond me anyway though, but at the time the experts seemed to agree that he could have got one. It's amazing that Bosh is set to make over $20M next year, while Duncan just re-upped on his deal for around $10M. I'm venturing to say that everyone would agree that Bosh is not twice the player Duncan is, the exact opposite may be more true. -
Come on, there's got to be a better camera angle than what they have shown on this.

This is way too easy. No one is going to top this one. Hands down, I dare you to try. RuPaul - Supermodel.

Cleveland doesn't have the cap space to get Carmelo or Love on their squad, especially if they want to sign Irving next summer (which they would be crazy not to do). They could get LeBron though and very well may. Having Irving, his buddy Varejao, the number 1 overall pick this year (Parker?), and some development from Bennett (last year's #1 pick) could be enticing enough to get him there. I think he stays in Miami though. You'll know shortly, if Wade and Bosh don't opt out he will leave I think. Those two need to sign for less money (not worth even close to the $20+M they are set to receive) so they can add another piece or two to have a chance against the west and the Bulls (who I believe will land Carmelo and be very formidable next season as long as Rose can stay on the court). -
Missing Rings: 1990s Buffalo Bills (NFLN special)

Just to be clear, I no longer listen to that idiot. I wasn't just talking about the new content / news in this, I was also trying to say that the average fan may stop to watch any program (new or old) about their favorite team or player. Since the Steelers/Cowboys/Packers/Patriots etc. are the most popular teams, they will load up the programming on those teams to get that casual fan flipping through to stay and watch for a while if they see their favorite team on. It's a numbers game, they know a lot more people browsing will stay on and watch those types of teams programs over a Bills or Chargers program. People who would enjoy programs on every team are in the vast minority unfortunately and, therefore, they don't really care what we want. Not exactly the same as what Cowturd was saying, but there is a connection that can be made to it. -
Definitely top 5. It's fantastic. NY State of Mind is probably my favorite on it, but that's everyone's favorite so I changed it up a bit. Yeah, don't know why Breakdown never gets any love. It has some great verses in it. That Nada Surf song is just funny to me and I was in the middle of HS at the time so it has nostalgia value. Certainly not a Zeppelin level of talent in the group though, that's for sure. "Change" is one of my top 5 all time favorites especially in retrospect with what he was dealing with when he wrote it and his subsequent years of battling substance abuse. Unfortunately, in the end, he could not.
