  1. Yep. I didn’t know that about Poyer either. Poyer, White and Zimmer we’re flying. Barkley dropping his coat and running down the sideline. Such an astonishing moment in sports.
  2. I've been pretty quiet most of this week basking in the glow of beating the Ravens. Like every Bills fan, I believe this team can and should win the whole damn thing. It's been a fantastic week. I want to believe that Buffalo will be the sentimental favorite outside or GB, TB and KC, especially in the AFC. I'm not at all bothered by the outside prognostications. It matters not. I can't get wrapped up in the injury reports, weather, or outside noise. Because we know this team has a true shot. Something I haven't been able to say for decades. Decades. The tribute to the 90s team that Shrager just did on GMFB was awesome. It's easy to forget the Bills record in AFC Championship games. Those teams took down Elway, Marino and Montana. Back to the present and future. What a glorious ride this is.. The future looks LED bright.
  3. I would have been stunned if Phil picked Buffalo. He’s been on the KC train all year. Florio too.
  4. Playing devil's advocate for a moment. Wasn't that the strategy every team tried to use against Mahomes this year? The only game he lost was against the Raiders who just decided to go deep and go often. I think a rushing attack, be it draws, WR sweeps, end arounds, or QB designed runs need to be a part of this game plan.
  5. It would make the RPO more effective. It would give our WRs a chance to drop/get a step on the DBs. We just saw a 3 point half. And then a TD drive when they mixed in some runs. I'm not suggesting 30 carries, but 12-15 would be nice.
  6. What gives me hope is the Chiefs didn’t as much beat the Browns but rather they survived the Browns. Call it rust or call it ennui, they sure as heck didn’t look invincible. I think he practiced all last week. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t a go.
  7. I wonder if he would have the same opinion if it was looking like Mahomes vs Barkley.
  8. Early season wins and losses are just that. early. Holds true for both teams. The teams facing off on Sunday are much better versions of themselves from earlier in the season. The Bills will be better. The Chiefs will be better. The schemes are likely to be different. The Chiefs out coached the Bills in that game. Plain and simple. How Buffalo adjusts defensively will be interesting to watch. Things I like. 1. Bills 8 days between games, Chiefs 7. 2. Mahomes not being able to practice for some if not all of this week. 3. Mahomes has an unhappy toe 4. Bills ST 5. Bills DBs are taking the ball to the house Things I don't like. 1. Bills running game is all but abandoned. 2. Bills WRs all seem to be nursing something. 3. Road game with crowd noise 4. An entire week of Will they Mahomes or Won't they Mahomes.. As if there is nothing else to talk about. 5. Chiefs DLine creating genuine pressure on the QB. Things I'm neutral on. 1. Weather. 2. Place kickers. Both will be kicking for their superbowl lives 3. Head Coaches. Feels like a push. Good staffs on both teams.
  9. 20-17.. A lot more defense and a lot less offense than people expect.
  10. That's perfectly logical. I would be the same way. Tom is their guy. What would have made their heads explode is if he hadn't left the division. Imagine being a Patriots fan and having to face a Brady-led Jets team twice a year. They got the best of it. He leaves the conference which allows them to still root for him. They have no reason to want to see a division rival do well.
  11. I also believe that we as hopeful football fans want to see the king toppled. This kid is too good, that team is too good and that organization is too good. If they can't be felled, then our (all other AFC fan bases) collective hopes for a superbowl diminish.
  12. Yep. The team is fun. There isn't a primadona on it. They come across as genuine. They interview humbly and modestly. And they kicked the snot out of NE on MNF. And every fan base outside of NE wants to do that.
  13. Yeah. CEH will be back next week. Really surprised he didn’t play today
  14. Gronk said today that he has played 10 years in the league and he has been to the playoffs ten years.
  15. Besides QB1 and CB2, anyone remember any other injuries to the Chiefs?
