Josh will not get respect until he and the Bills win. Keep in mind he plays on a team that has been largely completely irrelevant for nearly two decades. No to mention Buffalo is a small market team. Josh has to earn respect.

IDK but I thought the roughing the passer on Jordan Phillips was absolute BS. He was blocked and ended up low (to the ground) and grabbed Darnold around the legs for a tackle. It was not as if he dove for Darnold’s knees. He simply finishout out the play at the level he was. Judgement call for sure but a poor one in my opinion.

Ok @HOUSE and I were joking in another thread about AB and the *Cheats. This might be fun, over / under on how many weeks befor AB has a meltdown with the *Cheats. So to make it simple, keep it in whole weeks based on the previous poster. So for example, if I start by saying four weeks. You can say “under” and go with three weeks. We’ll try to check back later this year to see who came close. Starts this week with his official signing with the cheats. I’ll start by saying it will take 4 weeks.

I do give McDermott credit because he does tend to keep the *cheats in check. What’s interesting this year is that the *Cheats may actually have a halfway decent D. It’s very early to tell but remember last year this was to be their Achilles heel. No doubt that the Bills will have to play mistake free ball to win but I have a sneaking suspicion that this could be the year. Let’s hope the Bills walks away with a W the third time we play the *Cheats this year.

Talk about overthinking a situation..... I’m sure both of the players, Beasley and Allen, would say they both could have played that one better. The “W” is in the column. Move on....

It’s really hard to evaluate this game because for 1/4 of the team (if you split it up as offense, defense, special teams and coaching) the first half of the game was about is bad as it can get. I don’t put Dabol in with this as the Bills were moving the ball until players killed drives with turnovers and penalties. As for the “Beasley” interception I don’t find him as much at fault as you do. I think it is a 50/50 on him and Josh both. Josh was inaccurate and behind and is often the case the ball came in hot. Beasley is a NFL wide receiver so I get it that “you get your hands on the ball, you catch the ball” however he was asked to catch a tough ball. Let’s hope they both learn from the play. It’s time to move on. All that matters is a W was checked. On to the Giants.

OK on the last play in desperation the Jets gave up a fumble. So you stand as technically correct at -3. This fact does not erase that the Bills were -4 until the final second of the game. I stand on my original point which was if you are -4 in turnovers (for 59 minutes and 59 seconds) you are most likely going to lose. Do you feel better now?

Face it, four turnovers in a game much less a half of a game = terrible. I am as happy as anyone to have a W but the likelihood of getting one when you lode the turnover battle, especially a -4, is exceptionally slim. If this game were to repeat the turnover situation 15 more times the Bills are vying for the first pick in the next draft.

What I care about is beating the *Cheats the third time we play them this year. With this done we can all say the Bills have taken a few steps forward.

Chicago deserves a ton of credit as they played Rogers. The Ravens (not saying they are a bad D) had a cupcake game against the Fins. The Bills O put the Bills D in a miserable situation and still they come up with these results. Awesome.

This kid fits this D so perfectly its a scary good situation!! The Bills could not have asked for a better draft situation.
