Speaking for only my comment, my intention was not to insult you personally. I was referring more to the types of people that obsess over the actions of consenting adults. Your laundry list of things you find offensive about "gay sex" was extremely insulting for a lot of reasons (Women wearing men's clothes? What year is this?), not the least of which was your assertion that your preference is informed by "common sense" whereas, what, the alternative is that anyone who disagrees has none? But you said, "to each his own" so that must mean that you're an extremely tolerant person. Please.

Because you score a TD and then you instead of having 6 points you have 7 but then you go for the 8th and miss and it goes back to 6. All to basically have what you have now where you score a TD worth 6 points and you have the choice of going for 7 or 8. If we assume that the premise that the PAT is "automatic" is correct then awarding 7 points for a TD doesn't change the strategy of going for the eighth point or not whatsoever. It doesn't even change the outcome because you don't keep the 7 points if you fail to convert for the 8th you go down to 6. So, you're right back where you started, but now you've added a play that can actually deduct a point from the scoreboard. Why bother changing anything at all other than to eliminate kicking from the game?

Seems unnecessarily complicated for something that adds nothing to the game.
