A dominant DT would have been exactly what we needed, and if he was available, Beane should have pursued a trade. It seems he may have only been available in exchange for acquiring Parsons. Does anyone know if there were any rumors about his availability before the trade for Parsons?

Kenny Clark is a large run-stuffer, while Oliver is a quick penetrator. Both are DTs, but pretty much play a different position.

When did I say we should have traded for Parsons? You assessed the team with lots of “could” & “potential” , I assessed the team based on prior results. Let’s hope for development! Either way this team needs more elite talent

McDermott needs players he can trust in the locker room. White and Poyer will always support McDermott, while the younger players may take Buffalo's success for granted. I billieve the team's message of "we need to change things on defense" gets lost when we continue to bring back the same players after busting on draft picks and free agent signings. Is it really worth keeping Poyer on the PS to teach a system that doesn't work in the playoffs instead of investing in the development of a new player?

I dont think our OL depth is as valued as we think. They haven’t looked good in the preseason and looking good against our backup D in practice isn’t impressing anyone

I’m 40 years old, and if we don’t make it with Allen, I might not be around at 60 to see another opportunity. Spoiled?
