You are selecting players who struggle to complete a season and fail to make the Pro Bowl as examples of why Beane is a great general manager. While it's great to support the team, Beane has been gradually performing worse in all aspects of his job. When you defend him, it's natural for others to challenge your viewpoint.

You are probably & hopefully right. Is it the contract they sign or does playing time & production matter? If Hollins, Clapp & Toothill all kill it & make pro bowls (highly unlikely) & our signing are all duds, (hopefully unlikely) would we gain a few picks?
