  1. He will get picked behind Roosevelt.
  2. You'll give him a mulligan for the first two years. Don't lump the rest of us in there. He needs to hit back-to-back-to-back game winning 54+ yard field goals for me to grant him a mulligan for the Pittsburgh game.
  3. No. That would be the 2007 New England Patriots*.
  4. Really? I tend to put that in the category of a "fluke". Did you walk away from the game thinking less of Jackson's carrying ability?
  5. Probably. If we actually beat the Saints, the optomism will glide into the Miami game, and if we lose that everyone will be real down on us, and if we win that, we'll have gone 3-1 with our only loss being an away MNF game against the Pats* in a one point loss. In other words, if the Bills win 2 straight, I will not be visiting these forums because I won't be able to take any of the "contender" threads seriously.
  6. They would not Blitz to take Jackson out of the running game. Blitzing is exactly what allows screen plays to be successful. I think they may try to cover the flats a little more, but to be honest, we have every team where we want them. We should come out with 3 WRs and have Jackson run out to the flats every play. You can't effectively double cover both Evans and Owens, and make sure Jackson is covered as well. Unfortunately, the only team to ever simply abandon boring run up the middle plays and dominate through the air was the 2007 Patriots.
  7. Skooby jokes are funnier when you don't apologize for them.
  8. Yeah you're right. My initial statement was stupid. Sorry I started defending myself. It all makes sense now, I can't believe I didn't think of those motorcycle gangs.
  9. Huh? What does that have to do with anything? Do you align most of your favorite things because of the state you reside in? Are you a fan of Siena College? I don't think you realize that by capitalizing the word NEW YORK, you don't actually make a valid point, you just look like an a$$. I don't understand why people get upset that we don't have support in Albany. Why would they not be Jets or Giants fans? Teams that are closer to Albany than the Buffalo Bills (4): New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and the New York Giants. Baltimore is close. That whole state allegiance garbage is just that. I guess by your logic there would be more Mets fans in Buffalo than Blue Jay fans. My reply was stupid though. Sorry for trying to use facts to reason out some explanations. You're right, I'm stupid.
  10. 1. It's not even the second week of the season, justifications after one game are silly. 2. The Bills lost. Half the teams won. By default, you should place them at least below 15 or 16. 3. You have to earn your respect. The sooner this city learns that, the better. 4. Its a Power Ranking. That means some guy, who thinks he is better than you wanted to make a fancy list. It doesn't mean the entire nation lives and dies by it (and I'm not putting words into your mouth on purpose, I just really think people should stop letting ESPN get them in a bad mood.)
  11. HAHAHAHAHA This is actually funny. What an absolute load of crap this "study" is. I hope Obama recites it to all 5 of his dates this weekend.
  12. Hi. I think you're having a little geography trouble. Let me help put things into perspective a little bit. It is 290 mi to Albany from Buffalo. It's 290 mi to Morgantown, West Virginia. Would you expect people in West Virginia to support the Buffalo Bills? Of course not. How about closer places with NFL teams. It is 220 mi to Pittsburgh and just 190 mi to Cleveland. Clearly you wouldn't report back from those cities disheartened with the lack of fan support, am I right?
  13. Why would you re-watch that game?
  14. Good joke.
  15. You mean his 7.5 TD's/season?
  16. I totally agree with this argument.
  17. How do you arrive at that? One guy fumbles the ball after they played their hearts out, and showed more poise than I've ever seen under Jauron...and now we're worried about not having a "killer attitude"?
  18. I expected that response, but I'm feeling quite good actually.
  19. It's weird being one of the only optimistic people in Buffalo right now, but I'm feeling good. Clearly we should have won that game, but to be honest, we didn't lose because of coaching for the first time in forever. Sure, you'll argue about the 8 second runoff before that last timeout, but let's be real... AVP coached his a$$ off, and we held Brady in check all day. Basically, everyone is furious because we found a way to lose, but I'm thinking...if that was the best team in the league...and Fred Jackson is healthy, who is going to stop us this season? (In nicer words) I can't wait until our division deciding week 15 match-up.
  20. I'd rather get blown out.
  21. 17. The number of times Billsfan89 posted in his own retarded thread. And for the record, NFL overtime is awesome. You're just a pansy who thinks life is all about fairness and equality. It's a game. You play 60 minutes. If you're still tied there is a nice method for rewarding the best team. THIS IS THE PART YOU SHOULD READ: Had the Bills been in that game, they would have deserved to lose...but lets say they faced the Titans, and miraculously got it to overtime (off of bizarre plays, or lucky/fortunate turnovers). If we won the toss, elected to recieve, odds are that we wouldn't have gotten in field goal range, and the better team, the Titans, would have won. I don't want you to respond Billsfan89, because I know your opinion. But I just want you to read this, and realize it isn't "ass backwards logic," and that yes, there are two sides to everything in life, and you're not always right.
  22. OOOO...going against the grain picking the steelers. I like it. I guess I'll play... MVP: Trent Edwards Defensive Player of the Year: Donte Whitner Offensive Player of the Year: Trent Edwards Offensive Rookie of the Year: Eric Wood Defensive Rookie of the Year: Aaron Maybin Comeback Player of the Year: James Hardy NFL Leaders in: Rushing: Fred Jackson Recieving Yards: Terrell Owens Receptions: Lee Evans TD's: Fred Jackson Sacks: Tie. Aaron Maybin and Aaron Schobel with 21 each. AFC Champs: Bills NFC Champs: ...Bills SUPER BOWL WINNER: Bills
  23. ::scratches head:: Wait... so now we don't get respect? I thought we didn't deserve it and were obviously the worst run franchise in the league? I'm confused, which side are we on again?
  24. This thread sucks because everyone's response has been predictable. All I have to do is look at the avatar/username and I can accurately predict what they're going to say. I'm worried about the partisanship of our great nation. I'm really worried. Bush polarized us pretty far, there is no denying that...but this is a new level.
