  1. Any idea why he was released? Was it just lack of production or injury related?
  2. Not cool. It was a terribly run organization until Tommy G took over. I can't stand the "bandwagon" crowd but GO SABRES!!!!!!
  3. No question about it. If he doesn't make it into the HOF it will be a crying shame. The man was a pioneer of the "gunner" position and a game changer on a consistent basis. Teams were forced to gameplan just for him and he even forced the NFL to adjust some rules due to his "creativity" . Not to mention, Tasker would have made an outstanding receiver (and did later in his career) had Levy decided to keep Kicking game his primary responsibility!
  4. I could swear that I remember Jason Peters blocking a field goal for a Touchdown in 2004 when he was still playing special teams...was this a punt?
  5. I am hoping this isn't true, and I doubt that it is. Donte Whitner does not strike me as the type of guy who would cut corners. GO BILLS
  6. Yeah...deemed the "dirtiest player in the NFL" how many years running? I never like to see injuries...but it's hard to feel sorry for him....
  7. Common...be a real fan, leave at 6 AM to ensure you are lined up waiting for the gates to open!!! My tailgate and I are leaving Webster a little before 6!!! GO BILLS!!
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. WILSON!! Thanks for giving us the Buffalo Bills!
  9. Lot 3 Pole G8!!! Great times! But it is hard to go wrong when tailgating for a Bills game...I don't ever recall having a bad time...
  10. Lets see what Duke can do. Center play has been particularly bad, so I don't view this as a huge loss. Fowler IMO is a very smart player, who gets blown off the ball consistently and is a large reason why our running game is disrupted so easily. GO DUKE!!
  11. Another (half is glass full) way to view this is: The Bills also selected Kyle Williams in the 5th round of the same draft. So, we got a starting DT out of the draft (although our 5th instead of 1st round selection). But reglardless, we got a starting DT. So we essentially wash a 5th rounder for a 4th next year. Wish we got a 3rd!
  12. I agree with you on this point...But I'm sure they considered this and hopefully have an alternative plan in place in case.
  13. How is it ridiculous to recognize a lazy player and a drafting mistake and unload him while he still has value in hopes of further developing a young team in the future via the draft?! You can't only live and view the present. Management has their eyes toward the future as well. I for one am glad that we have a F.O. with the insight to make this type move.
  14. I could not agree with you more regarding the formations they run out of. I see both backs having a great year if we begin running out of what are typically passing sets. Regarding sharing time, look for Lynch to have a huge second half to the year because he should still be relatively fresh as compared to other "feature" backs..
  15. Lynch is a monster and a much better back that McGahee if for no other reason than you know you will get 100% from him. Our Offensive line has not been doing Lynch many favors. Also, sharing time with Freddy Jackson is taking some of his yardage away..
  16. I like George Wilson. But there is no comparison, Ko Simpson is by FAR the better FS. Hope this hamstring isn't a nagging injury....
  17. Seems obvious at least to me that this is a tie: Defense and Coaching Staff. Both were horrible. The game plan for today's game was poorly designed. Defense laid an egg and could not adapt or get off the field. Tackling was terrible. 1 forced punt all game. JP and the offense did not play great. But they were let down in a big way. I find it hard to believe the Bills win this one with Trent at the helm...but we will never know... Hope Trent, McGee and Ko heal up quick!!
  18. What happened to Ko Simpson? I did not see Ko after the first half. Does anyone know why George Wilson was playing FS?
  19. AWESOME!!! Now lets resign Greer!! Am I the only one that would rather retain Greer than McGee? I think McGee will demand more on the open market for two reasons: 1. Bigger name. 2. Return ability. I think Greer is a very important piece of this team! BUT enough of that time to celebrate the EVANS SIGNING!!!!
