  1. I personally had such high hopes for Lynch after his first two seasons, but over the past 12+ months he has been such a disappointment both on and off the field. If he came in, with the right attitude, at the right playing weight, he is a better back than Fred Jackson is, but that is alot of "if's" for someone who has shown to have a penchant for stupid decisions. Lynch used to run with a mission, was exciting and one of the toughest backs I have ever seen to bring down, but last year he looked more like Cinderella dancing around. If someone can get the Thugness and arrogance out of his head and get him to commit to football 100% he will be, by far the better back, but that is unlikely at this point. Fred Jackson had a really good year, but the one area that his game has been weak, is at the goal line. I don't remember him ever being able to punch it in from the one or two yard line, he consistently gets stuffed. He is a better back with room on the field to manuever, he is not a power back like Lynch can be. I think it would benefit the Bills to find the future at RB, but for now and when all is said and done, and reality is considered, the only real option is Jackson, because unless a miracle is performed, Lynch is working his way out of Buffalo and the NFL.
  2. What will be a bigger story? If Lynch gets there? If he gets there without running somone over? If he gets pulled over with a gun in his trunk? Or stops and cheats somebody out of $20?
  3. The ONLY reason we only won 6 games is...., There is alot more than one reason why this team only won 6 games last year, it wouldn't matter who was the running back and how many carried they got. It would take about an hour to list all of the reasons why we only won 6 such as: QB play, blocking, run stopping, special teams play, fumbles, coaching, game plan, play calling, etc., etc., etc.
  4. When Wood comes in out of shape, overweight, lazy and whines for a new contract every other year, gives up the most sacks in the NFL, gets called for more penalties than anyone else in the conference, then I assume Wood will get criticized.
  5. No it doesn't. For an offensive lineman it means having a name that is recognizable since there are no stats to go by. For the most part, if you look at Pro Bowl rosters, once an OL makes it once, he usually keeps going for awhile no matter how pathetic of a season he had.
  6. Maybe he is part rabbit and those are all his kids. I can see why this sorry arss team continues to sell out now?
  7. Actually it pretty much is in his hands. No team (even the clueless Bills) won't give up a pick that high without him agreeing to a contract extension-which is up to him.
  8. Peters is as overrated in Philly as he was here. He went from giving up the most sacks in the NFL with us in 2008 to being the most penalized OL in the NFC in 2009. He is overrated, overpaid and and not missed by knowledgeable Bills fans.
  9. I've jumped on the Chan wagon Did you jump off of the Jauron wagon without getting hurt?
  10. If you hit someone or something at all for that matter that tears part of your vehicles bumper off and leaves it at the scene, you are really smoking some good **** or doing something of that nature if you didn't realize it. That is total BS, and so is he.
  11. Ralph would never pay the franchise amount for QBs to anyone. At present I would think you are looking at around 20 million a year.
  12. The guys that put out mock drafts are like the weather guys on TV, get paid big bucks to guess. There is no way (I would hope anyway) that the Bills take a RB with #9. They have alot of holes and need another back, but will probably take one in the 3rd or 4th round. Depending what happens before then if the #9 isn't a QB, LT or NT then the whole new regime should be fired before they get comfortable.
  13. I would have no problem whatsoever if they gave up their 2nd round pick for McNabb PROVIDED he agrees to a two year extension. That way we could draft the franchise LT we need badly this year, address another glaring need next year with our top pick and manuever to get a top college QB on the last year of McNabb's contract to sit behind him for a year. If we can solidify the QB position for the next 3 years, that would be huge, and enable us to address the O-Line, D-Line, Wide Receiver and the many other holes we have.
  14. You wont be the only one giving up their tickets this year if the Bills don't do something to win. Besides, having been to Thailand 3 or 4 times during my 20+ years in the Navy, it is much more fun there than watching the Bills on sundays and putting yourself through that misery.
  15. If Lynch wants out all he has to do is have another Thugster F-Up and he will be out-out of the league for the next season.
  16. Poor attempt at defending your first post. Kelly even went as far as to go to a different league just to avoid playing here. He dissed the city, the team, the organization and says he even cried when the Bills drafted him. If the truth is known, and the USFL lasted one more season, he would never have come to Buffalo. The Bills had his rights for one more year, so Kelly had to come here or sit out an entire season, which is why he signed here. I know now he says he is glad he did because he loves the city, but any athlete wants to go to a winner, not a team that has gone longer than any other team in the league since making the playoffs and is currently one of the biggest jokes in the NFL. Anyone with any desire to end this string of losing would welcome McNabb with open arms. Hope that doesn't hurt your feelings too.
  17. Not sure what the fascination is with Brohm by some folks on this board. All he has accomplished so far in his career is be the starting quarterback on a practice squad. I say trade for McNabb, keep Edwards, shitcan Fitz (he makes too much to suck that bad), trash Brohm (he will never get farther than being an unfinished project who was good in college) and take a flyer on a QB in the 5th or 6th round.
  18. No offense intended, but that is B.S. He is much younger than Kurt Warner was when he went to the Cards, and they ended up in the Superbowl. The guy in 11 season, has never thrown close to as many interceptions as touchdowns. Last season he threw 22 TDs and only 10 picks, most of our QBs have it the other way around. He has been in what, 3 or 4 NFC Championship games and led his team (with their best offensive weapon out) to the Superbowl. He might not be Joe Montana, but would still be at his age, so much better than anyone that we have had since Jim Kelly retired. He has started all 16 games 4 times and at least 14 three other times, Kelly missed more games than that if I am not mistaken. I am not by any means dissing Kelly, he is my all-time favorite player, but McNabb has never come close to having the offensive weapons around him that Kelly had. How many teams over the past decade have went from pretty much last to first? Quite a few if I remember correctly. The days of building a franchise for 4or 5 seasons are long gone. Teams turn it around in a year or two, and other like us just stay bad year after year.
  19. Yes, without question. I am so frickin tired of losing and this losing organization it isn't funny.
  20. Because if Lynch isn't gone before the 2010 season, he will be done in Buffalo after that.
  21. I really hope he comes back to provide some much needed talent and leadership, but my gut feeling is he might be done. He wants to be on a winner for the first time in his NFL career, and it is apparent that this organization is using the excuse of building throught he draft, or building slowly as a way of avoiding to build a winner and spend the money to do it. They have said that the teams quarterback is already on the roster and will come from the 3 career backups that we have, the #2 receiver will either be Johnson or Hardy. The writing is on the wall, it will be a long time before we get a winner here, and Schobel can see that as clearly as anyone else. Until we have an owner not named Ralph Wilson, we won't get the winner that the NFL's best fans deserve.
  22. More than likely those are the results because it is a Bills forum. I bet if you go to the Lions board, they think they will win 12 games too.
  23. If you watched any pre or post game shows last season of Green Bay games, they gave up one of the highest amounts of sacks because of Rogers. Their line was nowhere close to the pathetic level of the Bills' line. I am not saying he isn't a good quarterback because he is, but he does hold onto the ball way too long, and is the fault behind 90% of Green Bay's sacks.
