I have heard he was already walking a while ago? Not the same as playing football though, that might not happen again.

Who is that? Probably turns out like that last offensive tackle we signed from the Raiders for millions.

He might visit just to raise the price he eventually signs for elsewhere, just like most free agents do, even coaches this past off season have used Buffalo like that now. -
What Free Agent Would Come To Buffalo?
billsfreak replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea you wouldn't want to sign any free agents, they have all shat to bed? But all the recent draft picks have turned out great havent they? You can't win without doing both good, drafting and signing free agents. We are the only team not even looking at free agents. Ralph is enjoying this uncapped year more than anyone-besides not having a cap there no basement/minimum salary either, so Ralph can pinch like never before. Sucks right now to be a lifelong fan of such a disfunctional organization, with a terrible owner and no desire to win, only sell tickets. Please someone buy this team that wants to win not just pad their bank accounts. Help !!!!!!!! -
What Free Agent Would Come To Buffalo?
billsfreak replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What difference does it even make? It doesn't appear that they are even going to try to sign any anyway. They have already thrown the 2010 season away. So depressing, what a worthless owner. He basically said they weren't going to sign any free agents, and if they do it will be the minimum wage guys. This team will never win again as long as the ownership stays the same. Please Ralph sell the damn team and get a real owner in here. -
Jim Schwartz and the Lions are dominating Free Agency

I thought the Bills did with Fitzpatrick? -

The Lions are active, but when the weekend is over, the Bears will be the big movers and shakers. They just signed Chester Taylor and are about to sign the biggest fish, Julius Peppers. They don't have much of a choice though, since Cutler cost them their first 2 picks. -
I am glad we arn't running out signing Free Agents.

The Colts are a bad example, because they have Bill Polian, we don't have anything close to a pimple on Polian's butt in our front office. The Bills have had a few bad FA signings, but we have had alot more misses in the draft than through free agency. -

You can't build a winning team through just free agency or just the draft, you have to use both avenues. There isn't a championship team over the past decade that hasn't used both. For Ralph to say you can build a team through free agency, translated to: I am not spending money on free agents, means we are in for several more years of the same losing, if not longer. It is a good thing the Bills have the loyalist fans in football otherwise the stadium would be empty on sundays if we only wanted a good product. -
I was suprised Incogneto not tendered
billsfreak replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not if there is no tender, they become unrestricted free agents. That is the whole purpose of placing a tender on it so you can match any offer or get compensation. -

I like his attitude, but it appears they are going to stick to the "Character" thing that they talked about at the initial press conference. Incognito is severely lacking in the character department. You can pretty much count Lynch gone too for the same reasons. -
Bills Tender Keith Freaking Ellison
billsfreak replied to Rzon604's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As long as they will keep him for depth and not as a starter, it isn't a bad move. Did he piss in your Wheaties or something? He hasn't been that bad, and to call him a d.b. which I am guessing is a dirtbag or another type of bag involving female hygiene? WTF? -
Buffalo Bills will not draft a QB...
billsfreak replied to rsxfirefighter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peyton Manning had major questions coming out of college. Bill Polian was slammed by many of "experts" for not taking Ryan Leaf instead of Manning, the same type of people who claim Bradford and Claussen have all these "major questions" as you put it. If you look at anything long enough you will find flaws in anything. Every year that we don't draft a franchise quarterback, it is just another year longer until we are once again relevant in the NFL. -
You obviously haven't watched him play and watched him throw. He has played in all types of weather, and throws the ball 40 yards downfield with little to no arch on it, straight ropes. He has been playing for 3 years in a Pro Style offense, is a leader and plays hurt. I am not saying he is as good as Jim Kelly, so don't crucify me, but he has a similar mentality. There is obviously no guarantee he will be good QB, if there were guarantees, the draft wouldn't be the crap shoot that it is, but he is the safest bet in an otherwise weak QB draft class.
-
I kinda agree with you but it isn't going to happen this year if they don't get Claussen or Bradford. Any quarterback no matter how much they are hyped can be a bust, but these are the only two that have a better than below average chance of becoming a franchise quarterback out of this year's class. As far as the original post, to say McNabb is garbage isn't saying much for this organization, since at this point of his career he is still better than any qb the Bills have ever had with only a couple exceptions. So McNabb only wins regular season games (although they have been in quite a few NFC Championship games over the past 6-7 years, you don't get a bye to that round), we haven't had a qb even do that in a decade.

If we sign Jeff Garcia and give him a job, does he lose his social security check?

We would be better off bringing back Losman than Bulger.

Czarnecki: Possible Bills tradeup to Lions is for a QB!!

I am not sure anyone who has a bust in Canton would even survive behind this OL to be honest. -

So do I and most of the so called "Pros" on mock drafts. Redskins are almost a lock to pick a QB and the odds are the Rams will too, if not the Seahawks will. -
What did you say, you want to be on the Jills?

Don't bet your rent money on that, you will be homeless. -

Not sure if that would ever happen. Ralph doesn't want to pay what the #9 will demand much less the #2, but if the Bills were to ever trade up it would only be if they wanted to take Clausen or Bradford. -
how much you wanna bet our beloved yet buffonish
billsfreak replied to HelloNewman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No chance they select a CB with #9 and maybe slightly higher chance they take a WR, but doubtful. Most likely the pick will either be an offensive tackle or a quarterback, with an outside chance of a someone to play the Nose Tackle position with the switch to 3-4. -
Edwards also spent the entire last off season in Buffalo to work on his game too (not sure it helped, just making a point). Any team that goes into the season with Fitz as the starter is satisfied with 5 or less wins a year, guaranteed. He will never be a quality NFL starter, no chance what so ever.
