Lynch could coach Driver's Education. Travis Henry could coach at a Fertility Clinic. Seriously, most of the players that might make good coaches (Kelly, Hull, Tasker, Bledsoe, etc.) have no interest in coaching and have said so. Some that might make decent coaches could be Beebe, Spielman (he has said for years he wants to coach at Ohio State), Conlan, Fergy (he has coached in College at Arkansas), and maybe someone who nobody has said, Todd Collins.

It really gets me the people who want Edwards gone but want to keep Brohm around like he has proven anything. Brohm has been a much bigger bust than Edwards has and has less upside. Keeping Brohm around just solidifies that the Bills don't want to get better, they want the inexpensive avenue towards fielding a team. Edwards probably isn't the answer either, but he deserves a much better opportunity than a guy who couldn't get off of the practice squad anywhere else.

I can remember Jim Kelly buying thousands of unsold tickets and giving them to children's organizations, but Ralph? Can you really buy something from yourself? Kinda like taking money from you back pocket and putting it in your front pocket but adding more to it with concession and souvenir sales. He makes more by giving them away than leaving the seats empty.

Those guys haven't proven anything in Buffalo yet, but hopefully they can get things headed in the right direction. If they can get a line and a good system around Edwards, and if the organization gives him another shot (word is Ralph doesn't want him), he has at least a 50-50 chance of succeeding. All these things are however an awful lot of ifs.

He might be a little harsh with some of his words, but the heart of the article is 110% right on. Western New Yorkers are some of if not the best and most dedicated fans in all of the NFL and over the past 10 plus years, Ralph and the organization have shown the fans no respect and have used them for their hard earned dollars. Face the truth, economic times are bad, there isn't a whole lot else to do in the fall and early winter around Buffalo except go to Bills games or watch them on TV, so he knows people will show up no matter what he does, and selling a game to Toronto for some extra money proves that, as there was no decline in ticket sales, in fact they increased. To bad there wasn't a way for the other owners to force a guy like Ralph to sell a team that is so obviously in disarray and in it for the money with little concern for winning or pleasing long time fans.

Yea, it kinda makes me laugh at some of the posts on this board with trade suggestions. Kinda like being in a fantasy league where one guy always wants to trade his garbage for your best players. The Bills can't make a team trade with them and can't make a team take on their mistake contracts. Maybe we can get the Patriots to trade us Tom Brady for Ryan Fitzpatrick, why not they are both quarterbacks?

I think what happened to Edwards was, for the past 3 seasons, he has had on average, the worst offensive line in the NFL. He for the most part hasn't had time to wait for a play to develop, been running for his life and as result has had to check down on the majority of the plays to a running back or tight end. He has had to do that for so long, that now he is automatically in checkdown mode, and for the fear of his life with no blocking has little confidence left. Trent has the mental physical tools, but until he can get a QB coach and an offensive coordinator that can restore confidence and until they get a sufficient offensive line, Edwards will never live up to his ability.

Probably the strongest arm on that list, and not considering anything else, is Losman.

And how did the Broncos fair after the 6-0 start? Someone would have to be blind and in a coma to put Orton in a top tier of QBs. Orton had one thing in Denver that he wouldn't have in Buffalo-one of the leagues best offensive lines, and one of the best young lineman in the league in Ryan Clady.

Jason Campbell? Do you ever want the Bills to win again. It appears obvious nowadays, that the only way you can get a franchise QB anymore is through the draft. If a QB is that good, their team wouldn't have wanted to get rid of them to begin with.

With the worthless QBs we have had for the past 6 or 7 years, Brandon Marshalls numbers wouldn't be any better than Evans' have been. He can't throw himself the ball, he has had to rely on wannabe QBs like Ryan Fitzpatrick over his career.

From what I have been led to believe, Incognito isn't under contract with the Bills, so they can't trade him. Plus, if they wanted him they could have signed him just like the Bills did. And from what the organization has said, Nix knows what he is doing, so why would he trade for Thigpen, just another QB like we already have a roster full of-career backups and #3's.
