  1. Sadly, as much as we cheer on sundays, you are one billion percent correct. This team has a losing culture, hires cheap front office and coaching staff, that in both cases nobody else had any interest in whatsoever. Players for the most part come here with alot of heart and expections, then after awhile they are here for a paycheck because they realize nothing is going to change anytime soon.
  2. Did you watch the Chiefs game sunday? He got in for one play and didn't even make it through the play, he jumped offsides and they put the starter back in. I agree they shouldn't claim him, but from what I read last season, Buddy was trying to get him but they wouldn't offer enough. Our clueless front office just got lucky on that non-deal.
  3. Who knows, but Dareus hasn't been "Great" so far in his NFL career. I am not say he sucks, or he is a bust or anything like that, but "Great" no. He was pushed around pretty good on sunday against the Jets. He has had a few great moments, but overall he still needs to improve quite a bit.
  4. Don't quite think he dominated, averaging about 5 yards a target. Not that great. He did better then alot do against Revis, but dominate? No.
  5. Plaxico is one of the biggest idiots in the NFL, he was in Pittsburgh, with the Giants and even down here in Virginia Beach at Green Run High School, but I gotta side with him on this one. Stevie is an idiot on his own accord and hopefully he draws a suspension along with a fine as a previous offender. What an ass he has turned out to be. Might I add, Burress has no problem with it because they won. If they had lost, he would still be talking about it. So you get over it, and don't worry about whether other people get over it or not.
  6. Exactly, everyone is blaming Johnson, and deservedly so, but he didn't lose it by himself. Fitz missed him wide open in the endzone, would have been the game winner. The defense dropped 2 or 3 interceptions that hit their hands. The offensive line had numerous stupid, just killer penalties that hurt badly. C.J. danced more than anyone that has been on Dancing With the Stars (as usual), the run defense was invisible (to be expected), and I could go on and on. Am I fed up with Stevie, yes and I have been since that crap last year in Cincy, then the loss against Pittsburgh, but this is a bad with bad players, but people find one scapegoat each week, usually to protect the Amish popgun from criticism.
  7. I agree, it also puts us back to the Flutie years when we were in the Playoffs. It has been all down hill since the Music City Ripoff. I would say over the past 13 years or so we are the worst in the NFL.
  8. I would settle for him being the second coming of the Vince Ferragamo/Bruce Mathison tandem from 1985, before Kelly took over. In other words, gone after this year.
  9. Top 5 LT's don't lead the entire NFL in sacks given up, like he did his last year in Buffalo. They also don't lead the league in penalties among LT's like he did his first year in Philly. He was good, but not as good as he thought he was. We came out on the better end of the deal. He wanted a new deal every other year here, he was lazy and there was no pleasing him. He was less of a team player then anyone on that roster. And they got a lazy, "all about me" tackle who hasn't played in all 16 games since 2006. He is as injury prone as anyone.
  10. MVP is a one horse race in 2011-Aaron Rodgers and nobody else is even in the discussion. That is silly. Manning wins the MSM Award (Most Sorely Missed). Now what he is proving this year, if the Colts come back and win 11-12 games next year with him, MVP hands down for the best QB in the NFL (before this season).
  11. To steal a line from "Saturday Night Fever" "You can't F the Bills and Fitzpatrick, the Bills and Fitzpatrick F you!"
  12. The draft is the biggest part, but Ralph is Cheap is a bigger part of the problem then you say. Yes he did sign T.O.-to a one year contract when ticket sales were down, and the signing did just what he wanted it to do-sell tickets. When was the last time we signed a top level free agent? Paup? Spikes? Spielman? either way it has been almost a decade. You can't pin this teams futility on just one thing, this organization is bad from top to bottom and has been for years at everything except making money.
  13. Aren't things bad enough, you had to remind of us the last good team we had here, and how they got ripped off? Having the Bills is like having a car in your driveway that hasn't started in 12 years, but hey at least we still a car, the piece of junk that it is.
  14. And even though what you say is accurate, you will get blasted-been there, done that. This whole organization is screwed up from top to bottom, starting at the very top. You will get people on this site though who think everything is great, every player we have is on the way to Canton, Ralph is the greatest owner in all of professional sports-because he didn't move the team, and we are improving-year after year (joke). I have tried for years to find positive, but year after year we get a bag of rocks (Charlie Brown Halloween reference). That is the most sorry ass excuse you can come up with. Football is a violent game, injuries happen-TO ALL TEAMS. Miami just opened up a can of Whoop-Ass on us, with a backup quarterback-the most important position on the field. Don't some of you ever get tired of making up excuses for this soup sandwich of a franchise?
  15. So is this another post of "It doesn't matter if we suck year after year, we still have the Bills in Buffalo?" I agree we are more fortunate then some cities, although with the torture the Bills put us through season after season, some might wonder if that is accurate. Kinda sad when the most exciting part of the season for you team is the draft, then to watch them screw that up too, is depressing. I like your optimism, but I guess some of us are more realists then optimists, and prefer to call a turd a turd. I will be more thankful when we have new ownership, and if that means it takes them leaving Buffalo to go to Toronto or wherever to produce a winner, then so be it, because of being a competitive person, losing sucks ass, and I can't convince my self that just having a team, a terrible team, is a great thing and I should be more then satisfied.
  16. Romo was backing up Bledsoe, he he gave the Cowboys Romo and us Losman!
  17. Our offense has either directly or indirectly given them more points then they have scored themselves with turnovers.
  18. Oh no, another player with a connection to Buddy or Chan? What a freaking surprise, that is all we ever bring in, and so far it hasn't worked worth a crap (Merriman, Thigpen now Choice). Never gonna be successful with this group of clowns. That is sad, when a aged corner who really can't cover much anymore or stay healthy is still a top 8 on a roster, and he probably was too.
  19. Good point, I guess? Probably should have used the term "biological female."
  20. Or if he just blows as the starter which is more likely then the prior.
  21. It goes without saying how terrible this defense is and has been, but what really cracks me up is how the offense gets a pass, like it is some highly productive offense. Over the past three games they have scored a grand total of 24 points-8 points a game on average, and either directly or indirectly given the opponent twice that many point with turnovers. 9 turnovers by the offense in the past 3 games, including 7 interceptions-many putting the opponent in the red zone or close to it - one pick six and one blocked punt for a touchdown. 8 points a game isn't going to win you many games, in fact the 1985 Bears would have been 6-10 with their offense only scoring 8 points a game. Take away a garbage late TD against the Jets, where the Jets were playing 30 yards down the field and the game was already over, the total points would have been 16 points, less then a touchdown a game. My point being, everyone is so obsessed with firing Edwards then we will be headed for the Super Bowl, but the offense is just as much of the problem, with even less depth then the defense has (good job Nix).
  22. What an appropriate day for him to have a birthday, the day for Turkeys to get roasted.
  23. Big difference between being Bad Ass Edgy (what ever that even is?) and Dirty. Being dirty might have cost the Lions the game yesterday, stopping the Pack on 3rd and goal, only to have a penalty and give them first and goal, then not to mention being kicked out and not being there for your team for the rest of the game. Suh has to get suspended this time, it was so blatant. You don't want a dirty player like that on your team, the negatives far outweight the positives.
  24. I would say unless you include kickers and punters, it has been almost 15 years since we had a top five at any position, where as Moorman would have qualified for a few years a little while back. Freddie was having a great season, but he still would have been outside the top 5 at RB. Sadly, we have had way more bottom 5 players at positions then top 5. Williams can be great, but doesn't have the resume to be top 5 yet, maybe top 8-10. Moulds would be right by the line of top 5. I would say for a year or two, Paup was a top 5 for sure. Ruben Brown might have been top 5. Schobel was Pro Bowl for a few years, but top 5 not sure. Don't even think Clements went to the Pro Bowl. Guess the saddest thing is, even the borderline top 5 players on the Bills, are a decade ago.
