  1. The only point I was proving in the comparison what that Fred keeps his issues with the contract off the field, Desean doesn't, he takes it on the field with him which is unprofessional. Just figured I would use Fred for obvious reasons here. Actually it is Jason Peters.
  2. Like I heard on the radio this morning, if he was still holding out the team would understand he was taking care of business even though it hurts the team. If you come into work, you better come into work, that is why he sits alone on the bench like he has a virus or something, because he has lost the support of his teammates. Once you come into work, you have to give it all you have or don't come into work. Deal with your contract off the field.
  3. Lynch was never unhappy in Buffalo until they drafted Spiller at #9 overall. Any normal team that picks a back that high in the draft expects them to be a starter. Lynch seemed content playing along side Jackson and made one of the better 1-2 punches in the league, something that most good teams have. Right now, with Jackson healthy we have a 1-punch and a 2-dance pop combination.
  4. What I mean by Spiller being the problem is with the 3 backs in this discussion, he so far below Jackson and Lynch it isn't even close. And as far as him starting, he was and couldn't handle it, that is when Jackson took over and took off so to speak. The only Pro Bowl back that Spiller has ever had in front of him is Lynch and that was for a handful of games last year before Nix traded him for peanuts. You are a serious Spiller fan if you accuse any back of being more of a dancer then he is, he might as well have tap dance shoes on instead of cleats out there.
  5. It is going to be along time before anyone but DirecTV has the Sunday Ticket. They know what they have and aren't going to let it get away very easy. So many people sign up for DirecTV just because of the Ticket (myself included), that they will bid out of the universe to keep it. Just a couple years ago DirecTV paid $4 billion to keep it until 2014, and you can bet it will get extended long before that expires.
  6. That is the NFL of today. Fred Jackson is signed for this year and next, but he has been talking contract all season. The only difference is, Fred Jackson might be upset about his contract but he showed up to play and kept it separate from his on the field production. DeSean Jackson has let it affect his play all year, and has not given it his all on the field as witnesses last night.
  7. You took the words right out of my mouth, but the only way they would sign Jackson (and I don't think they will) was if Johnson was gone. My guess is neither of them will be here next season.
  8. Since when? The Bills have been doing it for over a decade now.
  9. The problem is Spiller, pretty obvious. Which that leads to a bigger problem, Buddy Nix. Like someone else said, Brilliant Personnel Executives don't usually get their "Big Break" at the age of 70.
  10. Obviously I was being sarcastic about a 16 game suspension, just trying to prove how ridiculous his post was. Not sure where you saw the work "gentleman" anywhere in his post which is right below? Further proving the point that it's more important for Billsfreak to be "right" in his own mind than for the Bills to win
  11. I guess you never watched the Bills when he played? The run in OT against the Bungals comes to mind right away. Some people on here convince themselves into believing things that never happened here to make themselves feel better about being Bills fans. Take it for what it is, live in reality.
  12. So is the defense laughable (and I agree it is) because of the personnel or the coaches? Either way the fault, or at least a big part of it falls right back on Gailey's lap doesn't it? He surely has input into the draft and free agency, and I am quite sure he picked his coaching staff. You are obviously correct in that Ralph isn't buying him out, remember the fight he put up trying not to pay Wade Phillips what he owed him.
  13. Name me all the great defensive players that the Dolphins and Broncos have? Von Miller was benched part of the year. Champ Bailey is still good, but not the elite player he once was. Jason Taylor plays about 5 or 6 plays a game. You are going to have to go to their websites to even find out who plays defense for them to answer this question. Not saying we are good on defense, but then again, without looking it up, tell me all the good defensive players those two teams have?
  14. I don't agree that we have less talent then 30 other teams right now, we just are playing like it, which a big part of it is coaching. I think we have as much, and probably more talent then the Dolphins have, and they wiped the field up with us. I think we have more talent than a few teams that are doing better then we are (i.e., Denver). I am not sure where people got the idea in calling Chan a "Mastermind" which I have seen several times, if that was the case, don't you think another team in the past 10 or so years since he was fired in Dallas would have called his number by now? I know you are being sarcastic (I hope anyways), but they already have 6 losses? You might be?
  15. Spiller a slight upgrade over Lynch? I suppose Todd Collins was a slight upgrade to Jim Kelly too? All they had to do was extend Lynch, that would have given us two very good backs (both 1,000 yard rushers), used that #9 pick on a position that we really needed (OL, DL, LB, QB, etc.) and we wouldn't be in the pickle we are in with Freddie out now. Exactly, don't rile up the dilusional Bills fans that chug the Ralph Wilson Kool-Aid and think this joke of a franchise can do no wrong. This front office has done nothing but screw up since they got here, and anyone that cannot see that is living in a fantasy world, or a world where pathetic is more then acceptable.
  16. That is a good question, not sure but it would be worth a try. I would guess by the address on the account, if you have someone's account info from out of the area might be worth a try.
  17. Or Thurman, who pretty much fumbled away the last Superbowl the Bills were in.
  18. And result in an even emptier stadium, the whole reason for the rule. Hang out in the shout box, I will be watching the game in HD on Sunday Ticket (don't live in the Buffalo market) and will keep you updated.
  19. If you live in an area, like I do down here in Virginia that isn't in the "home market" for any team, I get every game every week. The only thing is, the games on the local channels, are blacked out on the Sunday Ticket channels, but you still get the games. If you are in a local market like Buffalo, and they don't sell out and the game is blacked out locally, it is blacked out on Sunday Ticket also.
  20. Exactly, especially the ones like yourself that are blind to the failures of this organization.
  21. Me personally, I have been a Bills fan since about 1971 or so, and every since I retired from the Navy in 2002, I have worn a Bills hat to work every day (I am one of the hat on all the time guys), regardless how bad they have been (obviously I couldn't in the Navy-Uniform Regs). Since the Miami game, I am no longer wearing a Bills hat to work. It is bad that they constantly lose, but when it appears that they are not even trying to put a product on the field, it finally reached that point with me. I have about a zillion Bills hats at home, that at the present are gathering dust, as I wear a Sabres hat or a Virginia Tech hat, even a Mets hat and that is bad. I have never left the house without something "Bills" on my body, until the past few weeks, they have me sick to my stomach. I cannot wait until we have a new owner that has a desire to produce a winner, much like the Sabres new ownership. And yes, the NFL's most faithful fans, the Buffalo Bills fans do deserve better, much better, but will we ever get it with this ownership and front office? Don't hold your breath, it isn't going to happen.
