  1. First off, refering to someone as a Moron has nothing to do with what they did on the field, but with their actions, statements, etc. in my opinion. Ralph-continually kept this team from being competitive, along with chasing everyone that is doing a good job out of the front office or sidelines (Polian, Saban, Butler, Wade Phillips). Buddy Nix I would say Cousineau, but without him not wanting to play in Buffalo (because on all accounts the Bills wouldn't pay him what a #1 should get-surprise!), we never would have had Jim Kelly. I too would include McGahee (met him at camp the first year he practice, what an ass) McKelvin-that fumble on opening night two seasons ago in NE is unforgivable. Marshawn Lynch-I loved his play, but for running over a lady and then just pulling your vehicle back into your driveway is moronic. O.J.-enough said Jason Peters-Was never as good as he thought he was, but wanted a new contract every 12-14 months. As far as your list, not sure why Joe Cribbs would be included on this list. You can't include Cousineau for the reasons you did without including Jim Kelly on the list also, since they basically did the same thing to the Bills.
  2. I would say that if we had a front office that understood the word depth and didn't just sign players that have connections to them personally I would have already pulled him. But, with that said, with Thigpen being the backup (Gailey connection) and the ridiculous and future franchise paralyzing contract they just gave Fitz, what would you gain by pulling him? Nothing. We can lose with him or without him as the old saying goes.
  3. I hope you are correct, but I really think this front office hates to admit when they are wrong. They should have drafted a QB last year, but took another cornerback instead, one who apparently doesn't know how to turn around and look for the ball (meanwhile Andy Dalton has the Bungals headed for the playoffs). The league has caught up to Fitz and Gailey in a big way, and with the GM's inability to make logical personnel moves, the future isn't too bright for us lifelong Bills fans. You would think after all these years, it wouldn't bother fans that much and we would get used to it, but it is just the opposite, it sucks more and more every season, and every cheap front office and coaching hire that Ralph makes.
  4. I totally agree, and I hope we are all wrong about him, but he doesn't seem to have what it takes to succeed in this league, much less be the 9th overall pick. For having such speed, he doesn't hit the hole fast, he dances every time he gets the ball in his hand, he has zero power up the middle or anwhere inside for that matter. I would suspect in the near future after the Bills either release him or he becomes a free agent at the end of his rookie contract, he will basically become a return man in the league, since that is the only thing that he has even shown flashes of ability in so far. What you are talking about are the rare exceptions, and you can always find a few of them no matter what the subject of discussion is. But signing a back over 30 to a long term contract (and I really like Jackson alot and am too sad that the one bright spot on the Bills this season is done), is like playing the lottery, the odds of it not paying off so far outweight the odds of it working out. And besides that even if they did sign him, one or two contracts (could be another bad one to go with the Fitz deal), won't shut up decades of futility and end the Ralph is Cheap chants.
  5. It isn't about being fair? Fitz has made so many mistakes where the O-Line was fine, in fact at least up until a few weeks ago he was the least sacked QB in the NFL (not sure where he stands now but I am sure it is still towards the top). The O-Line held fine on that last play on the first drive against Miami where Fitz threw a terrible pass. They were fine at the end of the Giants game where Fitz underthrew a wide open receiver and single handedly gave the game away. I like Fitz, but he is no where near a franchise quarterback and in no way a top 5 starter, maybe a top 25 at best. If we had Peyton or Rodgers we would still be tied for first place as we would have won the Bengal and Giant games, no doubt.
  6. Stats, stats, stats? We lost to the Dolphins because at this stage of the season they are a much better team-all around, to include coaching and especially at the QB position and on defense by a mile. In 2010, the Chargers had the #1 Offense and the #1 Defense and they didn't even come close to sniffing the playoffs-that is what stats get you.
  7. Beating anybody, even the Patriots ONCE doesn't make a GOOD SEASON. Maybe a GOOD WEEK, but GOOD SEASON? That is dumb. We spend more then our share of time in both of those categories.
  8. They didn't sign Gronkowski because the Patriots drafted him. Stevie Johnson has never been a #1 reciever, the Bills just don't want to pay a true #1, so they put a 7th round pick in there making peanuts compared to most NFL players.
  9. I think we already found that out, and the answer is "Not Even Close."
  10. Does Jackson have a bonus that kicks in at 1,000 yards rushing? Could be the organization (Ralph) be keeping him out, he isn't too far from that mark.
  11. For every pass one of the receivers drop, and yes there have been plenty, Fitz under throws at least one receiver, or hits the defensive guy right in the hands.
  12. Sorry, but the notion that beating NE once is better then making the playoffs is completely stupid. I would rather make the playoffs and get beat 55-0 both times against NE, then finish with 4-6 wins every year and beat the Pats once a decade. Wow, some people really dig for positives in a piece of crap organization sometimes. That win against NE was nice, and for a couple weeks, as it turns out, people gave the Bills more credit then they deserved. Now to most, if not all, it is looked at as a fluke, as NE is winning and we are playing like the worst team in the NFL.
  13. Alot of people also had the Bills as a top 5 team too, how did that turn out? If Fitz is a top 5 QB under any circumstance, I am a freaking Astronaut who just landed on Mars and started my own football team. I sure hope you are joking on that line, otherwise you are the joke.
  14. If Evans is garbage then most of our receiver corps is human waste. And how do you know he got value? They didn't make, I mean blow the pick yet. This regime has one pick that anyone with brains would bet a penny on being a star in two or three years, the rest of the two drafts they bombed, so why would you be confident they will hit on that 4th round pick?
  15. I sure hope you don't have to take a urinalysis anytime soon.
  16. I don't see why anyone would be upset either? Maybe you can sprinkle some of your fairy dust on the organization and fix the biggest mess in the NFL? Waive your magic wand? There must be something you can do with all your positive thinking after getting embarrassed three straight weeks, and 11 or 12 straight seasons.
  17. I would rather we try a different option all together. Thigpen sucks, that is plain to see, he only has a job here because of his connection to Gailey (maybe they both can go). There are some options out there that have just as good (if not better) chance of succeeding then Fitz does, and would be cheaper then that disastrous contract they gave him. They could get Brady Quinn, Matt Moore, Jimmy Clausen, maybe even Tebow, as well as others. Are any of these guaranteed to be franchise quarterbacks, no of course not, but it is now plain to all, and has always been plain to see for some of us, that Fitz sure the heck isn't a franchise QB. Either is having a quarterback that everyone knows you cannot win with, having an owner who everyone knows winning is on the back burner, having a GM that is like talking to Judd Clampett, a head coach who hasn't been successful on his own merit anywhere in the NFL, a coaching staff that is a revolving door, an offense without a skill position player that was drafted higher then the 7th round who isnt a complete bust, and a defense that couldn't stop Ralph himself running the ball. Point is, cutting Fitz would be smart for the future of the organization, is only one of the many, many reasons Buffalo isn't attractive to top level free agents, and they really need to get rid of Nix along with him, before he totally screws up yet another draft. We are going to end up with 6 or 7 wins at best, are there really going to be 15-20 teams worse then us?
  18. What is 3 more years of this suffering, it has already been 11 or 12 years, so no big deal. And please keep all sharp objects away from me.
  19. That is gonna haunt this franchise, just another example of the stupid spending of what little money they do spend.
  20. If you look at it, Fitz has only played on complete game all year and that was week one. Even during the brief time period when they were winning beating NE, Philly and Oakland, Fitz had one bad half each game, the first against NE and Oakland and the Second against Philly. He wasn't very good against Washington throwing picks and dropping balls for fumbles when nobody was near him. He has never been a franchise QB, and anyone who thought he was, was fooling themselves.
  21. He doesn't sell the team because he is still making money, you can't lose money being an owner in the NFL and that is all Ralph has ever given a crap about.
  22. Exactly. For the most part, with brief periods of exception, this team has been a joke from the beginnig, and there has only been one constant since then, the owner. Like I said there have been a few short periods of exception, but how much of that can you credit Ralph? Saban came in during the AFL days and turned things around, what did Ralph do? Chased him out of town and now won't even let his name be put on the Wall of Fame, where it should deservedly be. The Super Bowl years, Ralph hired a GM with really no GM experience (came cheap-sound familiar), but lucked out and Polian ended up being the best GM in the league over the past 25 years. As far as Levy, Ralph hired a coach who had a connection to Polian from the CFL, he was a coach that no other team was interested in or even considered (came cheap-once again, sound familiar?), but he lucked out and Levy turned into a Hall of Fame mentor and coach. The Steelers and Packers are just two examples that you don't have to be in huge metropolitan areas to win a Super Bowl, but you do need great ownership, something the Bills sorely need and have for years.
  23. In my opinion he has looked and produced like a fool every since he was given the GM job. The stuff he says doesn't make sense when he talks, and he never really answers anyone's questions.
