  1. Wasn't Jordy Nelson on the draft radar last year? that and a pick wouldn"t be too bad...
  2. We will all know just how they have done come draft day! It may take a little time to right the ship and wash off all those ugly barnacles, but I think we will know by mid season if the boat is gonna float or sink this year. Winning fixes everything...!!!
  3. Agree totally!, he has the potential to be very good, hopefully Chan will use him more and get another one to compliment him...
  4. the bottom line is this ladies and gentlemen.......... new eyes on the Bills players will define the roster and actually see if any of them are worthy of playing for " our" team, get rid of the junk and find more studs.!!!!
  5. how can you make any guarantees?, there are too many variables that can change over the next couple months, the draft, what kind of offense they run, free agents, who is the D coordinator??? the only guarantee is the 9th pick at this point!
  6. they have already started to clean house, so why not do something different, if you want something different, you've got to do something different!!!
  7. I have said since camp that Maybin should be an OLB, not that it would solve all our defensive woes, but with his size and speed it just makes sense!, Here's to the Bills switching to a 3-4 defense...
  8. FWIW, does anyone remember what kind of record or credentials Marv Levy had prior to replacing Hank Bullough? Seems to me they were not as good as Billicks are so I think he'd be a great fit, and it seems like he's itching to get back to the sideline to prove he's still got it, hmmmm......... a chip on his shoulder, .......... no respect................bring him on ! ! !
  9. exactly, it really dosent matter win or lose, they havent really hit on a number one pick since Jim Kelly or Bruce Smith, man what a mistake it was to let Bill Polian go!!!
  10. i want to win as much as most fans, ...but we've been waiting 10 years now.......whats one more game, why dont they see what they have in some guys that havent seen the field this year, i.e. james hardy and anyone else, start sorting out the good and the bad so the next regime has some tape to evaluate???????
  11. Mike Martz wants the gig, a league source told ESPN.com. Martz, the former St. Louis Rams head coach, is an intriguing candidate because of his association with Perry Fewell, Bills starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and hot rookie safety Jairus Byrd. The source said Martz is also high on Buffalo's other quarterback, Trent Edwards.
  12. Of course he's trying to get the most money he can, wouldn't you? No one knows what kind of offer they're gonna give him, they are waiting till the end of the season anyway, but the fact that Shanahan and Russ Brandon met for 7 hours Monday night and Tuesday morning, and Adam Schefter of ESPN, who's a friend of Shanahans, talked to the Coach and quoted him as saying "We had an excellent meeting. I was really impressed with Russ Brandon and everything he had to say. We're going to stay in touch and see what develops." Why would he say anything about staying in touch, or that it was an excellent meeting unless it sounded intriging to him? Sounds like it could be a working relationship if they decide to keep Brandon...
  13. Give the guy a break will ya, its not his fault there is no depth on this team, or that it's a M.A.S.H. unit, he's playing the cards he's dealt. Why even complain about it, or is that what you do?
  14. How long has it been since Marty Coached, a couple years. The Chargers had an awesome team that he built, maybe his playoff record isnt that great, neither is the Bills!, He has organizational ties to this teams last championship and should at least be considered as a HC candidate, of course Cowher would be great, but it looks like his heart isnt into coaching just yet, Shanahan wouldnt be bad either, ask them all and pick the one that wants it the most!!!
  15. should have got rid of him when they had the chance, after his ST performance against the Saints, he has no trade value
  16. Sorry if this was brought up but Eric Wood played center his whole college career, what about him? He's a tough dude?
  17. If they actually pull this one off, then we will know they're on the right track and know how to game plan for an opponent. It is a home game and from what I heard Fred Jackson say after the game, thier goal is to win all the home games and to at least split the away games, that's 12-4, sounds like a good plan!
  18. perfect throw or not, he should have at least knew it was coming the second time! ever heard this, "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" , I guess he can be fooled easily, they need help at LB !!!.........
  19. If anyone was paying attention as to who was also a part of the blame for the loss last night, look no further than...................Keith Ellison, he got burned 2 times by Ben Watson for touchdowns, he did make a 4th down stop, but that was all for naught due to his inept pass coverage, the LB's are in trouble, maybe the rookies can step up and help this team..........
  20. No one else hired him because he was here trying to right the ship here, it may seem like more of the same but the fact of the matter is this, every OC had to start somewhere, even the great ones got their 1st oppourtunity to be the play caller, its all about taking advantage of it when you get the job. Here's his chance to make a name for himself, Good Luck AVP, we're all rooting for you, make it happen now ! ! !
  21. They now have a young OC! Let's see how he does in a week then start calling for his replacement. We all know RW wont spend money on proven HC, but if this years science project blows up, he may not have a choice ...........
