pre season offense is not an indication of anything, especially the 1st game, its a work in progress, if it dosent get gradually better by the 4th pre season game, then there is cause for concern. lol, love it

Yo Sir D, is the glass half full or half empty?, that's the whole idea...! Buddy said as much after the trade. Stevie may draw double coverage at first but once Freddie,C.J., and Johnny, start tearing up the run, 7-8 men in the box will open the aerial attack and with Chan being as creative as he is, everybody is gonna touch the ball ! It's gotta start with the running game for a couple reasons;, #1. the o-line needs to develop an attitude quickley which will in turn aid in pass protection because it will toughen them up and it's supposedly easier to run block. Chan said he was going to simplify it for the young guys right? and #2. Simplifying things leads to expansions of those concepts, in other words, success breeds success! The o-line showed some pass blocking skills last year as evidenced by Fitz performance, but they rarely established the run, and now it's time to do so with 3 differnt weapons in the back field. Familiarty with the offense will go a long way, there's only a few new pieces to the offense, Johnny White, Buster Davis being to of the more notable, so the base for knowledge of Chan's scheme is pretty broad. It should help alot. Can't wait to get started. Go Bills!

I really hope the higher ups at WGR read this stuff, I used to look forward to listening to WGR after I get out of work, I'm a huge Buffalo fan and theres no access to radio or internet during my work day, these guys are worse than watching spent edwards play!!! Now I cant wait to get home so I can check out twobillsdrive.com and buffalobills.com. so I can get a fix, what a waste of air time, and the worst part is, they actually think that people like the B.S. they dish out, I literally turned them off 2 minutes after I heard what they were talking about, "playing in the dirt with his son", give me an f'n break, do any players even want to do interviews with them? I'll bet they dont!!!

as a Bills fan, ya gotta hang your hat on the fact that he will be there on opening day and through out the whole season, accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative is a good way to think!

Whatever it takes to bring them together and start winning, I'm all for it. If faith is gonna get us to the playoffs, bring it on!!! Agreed,to get respect ya gotta win, but c'mon, Carolina and Denver haven't been that much better, and Detroit gets a lot of press for perenially losing and drafting high, I've noticed the lack of respect over the last few years, maybe it's just what they need, a chip on their shoulder to prove them wrong and make them take notice !!!

I would go Ponder, if he's gone, Locker, he seems to be a leader and have some fire in his gut...

The bottom line is that Fitz is stepping up and leading! Even if Fitz isnt the answer, a newbie can learn how to play QB in this league from Fitz (i.e...how to prepare, study film, learn opponents tendencies, etc.). The defense needs to be improved so whoever is QB can count on them to get the ball back if a drive fails force turnovers and even score points! I think defensive stud at #3, QB at #34, then more defense with O-line sprinkled somewhere in there. The 1st 3 picks need to produce at least 2 starters and the rest need to be quality depth. Year 2 for this staff should show marked improvement, especially on the defensive side, I think Wandstadt will have a huge impact. He has alot more experience than George Edwards and could take his place in an instant, but logically they will work together well because Chan is the glue. All in all, this draft is critical for this team if they want to get out of the basement, because if you want to run with the big dogs, you gotta come off the porch ! they've been porch dwellers for way to long, C'mon Buddy, show us the baby !!!

Easley was hurt last year ! so you cant say he sucked, we wont know until camp starts if the sleeper awakes or not...
