if they have a really successful year, they might try to offer him a short term deal, he is on the down side of his career and may be tired of all the moving around, and be willing to bite the bullet, shut his mouth, and finally win a championship!

Dont numbers in the 50's belong to LB's, Just wondering? Could some sort of hybrid 3-4 defense be in the works for this year? Maybe an idea would be to switch between a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense on the fly to confuse offenses, not sure but a DE with the number 58 sounds a little strange???

If Maybin is that quick, they'll be able to zone blitz with him in there, and when he drops into coverage, they wont lose anything because he's so quick, could be interesting?

Wasn't Shawn Merriman a DE coming out of college, he's got an explosive 1st step, what was his 40 time, wait, it don't matter, if Maybin can be even 85% of what Merriman is, it'll be awesome, the QB isn't 40 yards away, so sick em' Aaron!!!

Two new guards with a mean streak, a tough center, butler back to his original position(tackle) and walker with the experience at tackle, the run game will be better which will keep defenses honest, and this plethera of newly acquired weapons cannot help but be truely offensive !

Nice post John from Hemet, there is some quality in this draft and we wont fully know the potential yet, but its there. Nelosn could be quite a player, he seems to be that quality pass receving tight end we so desperately need, an outlet receiver for Trent with some game breaking ability.

It doesnt matter if there's 1 or 5 starters, the fact is that its football season and we have some new talent (or lack there of) to evaluate and it gives us all something to look forward to, let the mini camps begin !!!

Give it a rest! He said he got the hint from Goodell, I'm sure he sees what happened to Plaxico and Pacman, his career is on the line, so if his agent has a clue, he will have him make changes! The agents meal ticket is on the line as well, so its in both there best interests!!!
