I personally would like to see us go after a TE. Martellus Bennett/Shockey//John CarlOlsonson etc. I know Chan 'doesnt like to use them' but thats just really stupid on his part. I would also think we have a better shot at signing a Kiwinuka as a DE than M Willaims, but obvoiusly I would want Williams first and foremost. Resigning Stevie and Urbik are gimmes that must happen. Adding a DE and TE in free agency then a good draft pick or two and we can compete. We will eventually have to replace Turnover Fitzpatric though eventually, and I think a guy like Quinn who never really got a chance could play if he had to.

I dont think Quinn even has 16 starts under his belt. He didnt look that bad when he did play, and that was for a bad bad bad browns team. With a fw years in the league he could be a good starter.

Most college teams make their guys wear them. I think its a good idea for the NFL too. They arent too restrictive and there is >1% chance Wood tears his ACL wearing one.

Who have been primarily backup QBs throughout their careers.... I would also replace lock down corner with a top tier TE, and argue that a top LT is not as important as the inerior 3 of the OL. The teams in the playoffs are my evidence.

The rule is very loose in defining what is and isnt on the LOS. If you ask me, the TE, LT and LG are all not on the LOS. A High School ref may have agreed. As for the TE, which that writer points out, isn't any further back than the LT is. It may appear that way looking at their helmets, but if you look at their feet, they are all in line, which is how the rule is defined (for specalty players, aka the TE being in a 3 point stance or standing up doesnt move him from on the LOS from off the LOS) In short, nothing to see here, jsut a hack sports writer trying to make a name for himself, move along.

That despite the NFLs best efforts, football will remain a game that is won by teams that play good defense and can run the ball. If you dont have a future HOF QB on your team that is. PS If Chan is smart, we will have more rush attempts next season than pass attempts.

I think the Broncos win. This is a good match up for them. They were winning the first game until 3 straight fumbles. Denvers O, when they don't turn the ball over, is actually very efficient at what they do (which isnt always to score as many points as you can). Denvers rush attack, coupled with what is [hopfully] the play calling focusing on zone reads and PA passes, should allow Denver to eat up clock and score efficiently. Then all the need to do is pressure Brady (obviously the toughest thing to do in football, but sitll thats all it takes to beat them) The only recieved with more drops this year than D Thomas is his team mate Eric Decker. Dude is good to cough up 2-3 a game and he isnt very fast. Dez Bryant is 1029844129837498347x better.
