  1. Hasselback, Schaub, could maybe count Kurt Warner
  2. They played at 4 and I didnt have anything else to do today so I watched the Bills. The Tebows did make the playoffs even though they lost. Ive never seen a Bills playoff game. Not that I remember anyways
  3. Mich St plays tomorrow afternoon as well. I know you like Tannehill but I think Cousins has real potential
  4. yea I dont like Coples. He isnt a OLB to me at all. Im hoping RG3 falls to us, or we can get an OLB in the first two rounds. Between Mercelous, Upshaw, Ingram, Perry, maybe we can us our first two picks to trade back in the 1, then up from our first, and land two of those guys.
  5. O please. GB develops players which Includes Flynn. He could be the next Schaub. Please Buffalo at least try to get better. Dont letthis guy go somewhere else and have huge success like Brees
  6. just once I would like them to actively try to improve the team. Pursue some FAs, Like Matt Flynn who had Madden numbers today. Make a trade for a player you need. Resign your own good players. Dont just sit there and feed us crap about building through the draft just to let all your good draft picks [which are incredibly rare] leave when they become FAs.
  7. Resign Stevie and Bell. FA WISH LIST: Matt Flynn (cut Fitz) D Bowe M Kiwinuka R Mathis DRAFT: Defensive players from LSU or Alabama, or another top rated pass rushing OLB COACHING Hire a real DC like Wade Phillips who can take the worst d in the league to the best in the league overnight. Get a new DB coach Convince Chan that is ok to run the ball as often as you throw it.
  8. we need to take a risk if we ever want to compete. Flynn has played great in spot duty and amazing today. That GB team knows how to develop players, especially QBs. Go bet the farm on Flynn. If you cant get him try and trade up in the draft for RG3. Take a 2nd or 3rd round QB. We need to do something bc Fitz is a backup in this league.
  9. Where is that WR #8 from Texas A&M projected to go? He is legit. I also like Kirk Cousins as a QB prospect. OT may be a real need with the oft injured Bell being a FA
  10. Id like to see our top ten pick turn into two picks which turns into two of the top rated OLB prospects. Maybe turning our 1 and 2 into two 1's higher than say pick 25?
  11. Its just me, but Id put QB #1, because if Luck or RG3 is [somehow] there at our pick the team would and should take one of them. OLB, then LT [bell is a FA and always hurt and I haven't heard anything about resigning him] then WR.
  12. Lets also not forget how good GW was playing until injury. Multiple people were talking about him as a Defensive MVP canidate, including Rodney Harrison during a Sunday night halftime show. Whitner would have been a backup safety on our team this season (or at least should have been if he were here)
  13. Lynch is also a FA. Maybe we could sign him back?
  14. it sounds like all these OLBs are 20ish picks and not top ten picks. In that event we should trade back and try to get two picks between 15-25 and get two of these OLBs. I know Buddy wont do that but we should, A) because we need two OLBS and B) because with our FO we will likely draft and least one bust. PS No one is mentioning Hightower. I like him a lot. Plays both Inside backer and DE in passing situations. Not bad for 6'4'' 260lbs
  15. The probowl is a popularity contest. How many fans around the country even know who former UDFA WR now converted safety George Wilson is? Yet everyone knows Whitners name because he was a top 10 pick. If watching Whitner all those years and now Wilson this year didnt clue you in to how vastly superior Wilson was and is then you will never get it.
  16. HOnestly, I see every team needing a WR coming after him. He is a great shifty WR that can beat man coverage agaisnt anyone and knows where to find openings in zone coverage. He will be one of the top tagets in FA if you ask me. FWIW V Jackson and D Bowe are not going to hit the market. Only the Bills are stupid enough to let a great young talent go.
  17. I think we should take a long hard look at K Cousins from Mich St. Whether 2nd round, or trading up/down into the latter part of the 1st. Kinda reminds me of a Ponder who eneded up going 12.
  18. \ I was thinking the opposite really. I wasn’t impressed with him as a dynamic speed pass rusher similar to Peppers/M Williams like I heard he was. However, he did look big and strong and could move people with his hands. Relative to a 3-4 DE, he looked very quick off the snap and could penetrate the interior of the line. He could be a good pass rushing 3-4 end for us kinda like Seymour was for the Patsies. Him, Dareus and Williams could get after the QB pretty well. I wouldn’t take him with our pick unless some other guys are gone, but he may be a better fit inside rather than out. I don't see him play LB at all (unless is the Spencer Johnson 'LB' role????)
  19. One of the things I have noticed about the NFL, is that too often coaches are fired for their QB not performing. While Chan isn’t that great, ie he develops these great running game plans then fails to call enough running plays, I would hate for Buffalo to fall into the group of teams that fire their coach for having a bad QB. Fire the QB, not the coach.
  20. I'd rather lose for draft position. If we get to 7 wins we are tied with half the league and with our SOS could drop like 5-8 slots I think. I really dont care about feeling good for 20 mins after beating the Patriots, Id rather have a better chance at drafting a superstar who plays for 15 years. In all honesty it wont matter, but that’s because the Bills FO blows donkey nuts. I mean, two years ago we were picking 1 spot ahead of NE* in the 2nd round. We took that stupid Troup guy and the next pick they took Buffalo native Gronkowski who is already the best TE in the game. Grons could have and should have been ours (even without hindsight he was by far and away the best player available - a top 15 pick if not for the back injury) Draft position does matter even if the Bills suck so bad they cannot take advantage of it. I still want them to have the ability to screw it up...err...take the stud though
  21. You forget about opportunity cost
  22. looks like 10 or 11 for the Bills, assuming they lose to the pats.
  23. In other news, Troupe and Carrington have been great additions.
