The rule is very loose in defining what is and isnt on the LOS. If you ask me, the TE, LT and LG are all not on the LOS. A High School ref may have agreed. As for the TE, which that writer points out, isn't any further back than the LT is. It may appear that way looking at their helmets, but if you look at their feet, they are all in line, which is how the rule is defined (for specalty players, aka the TE being in a 3 point stance or standing up doesnt move him from on the LOS from off the LOS) In short, nothing to see here, jsut a hack sports writer trying to make a name for himself, move along.

I think the Broncos win. This is a good match up for them. They were winning the first game until 3 straight fumbles. Denvers O, when they don't turn the ball over, is actually very efficient at what they do (which isnt always to score as many points as you can). Denvers rush attack, coupled with what is [hopfully] the play calling focusing on zone reads and PA passes, should allow Denver to eat up clock and score efficiently. Then all the need to do is pressure Brady (obviously the toughest thing to do in football, but sitll thats all it takes to beat them) The only recieved with more drops this year than D Thomas is his team mate Eric Decker. Dude is good to cough up 2-3 a game and he isnt very fast. Dez Bryant is 1029844129837498347x better.

I like the spread. It creates wide running lanes for running backs to fit through (its way better than that stupid goal line formation, where you get 9 300+lb men, place them shoulder to shoulder in front of 9 other 300+ lb men and expect a running back to run through those two giant walls of flesh for a TD). Didnt Buddy admit they got over a dozen calls for both our 1st and 2nd round picks last year? Seems like they had many opportunities to trade out of the pick. The year before they had the card turned in too fast to hear any offers. I have heard that trades are discussed with litterally every pick in the first and rounds. Obviously teams dont like the compensation enough to pull the trigger, but to act like its sooooooooooo hard to find a partner is a bit silly.
