I'd do it. Like his play, head aches go away on the right teams.

assuming the bills keep 10 dlineman
bowery4 replied to MARCELL DAREUS POWER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree Edwards stays, and Heard only makes it if they DO actually keep 10. I think 9 is more likely but 10 is possible. -
Damn 20 years? and they were all of age? No one else see a problem with THAT?

No, I think he will too. Heard will stick and Carrington will get it too. They have 37 to cut, there will be some who go on to other teams. It is good that way as long as when we play them they don't kill us but it shows a more talented team. -
humbug, now I have to change things, what is this, facebook?

Good Luck Mike! In other news the Bills will have to cut 37 others by the time cut downs come.

Seahawks have a good problem to have

hmm do you think maybe that Nix had an inkling someone was going to pick him before us? I can see no other reason for moving up. I too was a bit baffled about it but I unlike you think there must of been a reason. My guess is the Skins or Jags were going to take him, I mean the Jags took a punter (a real wtf? pick there) and the Skins well they were ready to trade back, so just think those 2 things through and that is just the picks around us. Who knows about later in the round and the beginning of the 4th. -
Around the NFL 2012: What Interests You?
bowery4 replied to ajzepp's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tannenhill in Miami, all the TEs in NE* and the older WRs they picked up, KC and if Cassel will do something for them w/ a better looking team built around him, Cam Newton's 2nd year, Luck's year in general, Manning in Denver, the Bengals, year 2 of a good team? and Cleveland (will a new owner change things in general and how will the 28 year old rookie do), Russel Wilson (who I would have picked w/ a 3rd and I really hope TJ is the shcznit ,to the OP who mentioned it) I will not be surprised if he does start and is very good, will the Lions have a good year? and of course the Jets coming implosion. -

I wanted him w a third, think a 1 or a 2 would have been a bit much (and am happy we got who we did with those picks, at this point). He has looked good, I expected that. -
Likely the first conversation Nix had with Mr. Ralph
bowery4 replied to Hplarrm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is a gamble but worth it anyway. I liked a couple of QBs who were picked between 2nd and 6th rounds the last couple of years. Those are gambles too but with less worth. RG3 is a gamble that I wouldn't have taken but it may work out. for them. If you gamble and lose, yeah you are set back a few years, unless you get lucky with an FA or a trade. I kind of think the whole " franchise QB" thing is a bit of a misnomer anyway. If you can draft a great QB you should. I kind of think they would have went for Wilson if he was there in the 3rd but he wasn't, this year. I think they have done that a couple of times now. I am not so sure it is all this faith that they have in Fitz as much as having bigger holes to fill and equalizing it against the price. Buddy seems to know what he wants and what he is doing, he is the one whose job as the GM will ride on having a decent guy in that position. I would wager even more so than the coach selection. -

NFL RUMOR: Bills close to waiving Vince Young
bowery4 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What we didn't need a LT either? -
The FA grade should include Mario, Anderson and re-signing our own IMO. The wavier wire stuff has been very good though too, plus as a GM he has been giving direction and vision to the team. It is all part of the picture IMO. A, would be about right. Plus, he is just damned entertaining to listen to. Make it A+, now where is that baby?

Ruvell Martin Tashard Choice Leodis personally I prefer we keep Edwards and Spenser Johnson (just haven't seen anything out of Carrington at least last year and Troupe????). I want to see Corey make the team, Rosie, Easley (would they keep 6wrs ?) Dickerson (have him back up Freddie and especially CJ) but list him as a TE. I wonder if they can or will try to stash a 5th rounder (Tank) on the PS. And yeah FS needs a back up if these guys are lacking (Nesbitt is PS material if need be though I think) It is all numbers games from here on out, many camp bodies who would have made the team in the past, will be gone. Is it too early for the surprise cuts post yet? Mine would be VY at this point.
-
Just a week or so ago Nix also said he thought we needed to have one more. At this point I think another (vet) WR might not be a bad idea either, if a younger guy shines that person could get cut. Also judging from what we are hearing I wish we would have signed David Garrard instead of VY.

Bills Fitzpatrick has earned trust, respect of teammates
bowery4 replied to GoBills!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
34 so even though at this point VY isn't even showing that he can and is out playing Thigpen at practice during TC, what you want is him to get even reps with a guy who has earned and the starting spot, the respect of team mates and opposing players and couches and had the best 2 seasons of anybody we have had here since Blesdoe. Because he had some good seasons a few years ago? Yeah makes perfect sense. He has earned the 1# reps and knowing he will be starter this year, I am just glad you are not in Chan's job. -
Concerns rasied about Buffalo's receiving corps
bowery4 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hey DIE HARD 1967 nice to see you still lurking around these parts . I think Chan is a challenging guy as a coach with some guys or even units. He called out Andy last year and he stepped up big after that. The dropsies are a big bad problem for WRs to have and as a unit if they can't get it together....well I am sure there will be changes. Lighting a fire under peoples butts and telling them that is fine with me. -

MDP dating advice thread...
bowery4 replied to MARCELL DAREUS POWER's topic in Off the Wall Archives
See now jerking and getting laid not the same thing. I knew that "be yourself" stuff was going to confuse you. My advise really, and I wouldn't tell this to most people (but hey you ARE special), just pay for it a few times when you need it. Nothing is free in life, you won't have to think so much about chemistry and all that budding relationship BS and you won't be/come off so desperate.
