    Whether Mario Williams signs or not, I give the Bills brass lots credit for trying which has not always been the case here in years past. Reports are the Bills' offer makes Williams the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. What else can they do?

    The guy is soft and can't stay healthy. The sooner he leaves the better so the Bills can turn the page and work to get a real LT.

    The Bills should land a proven quality WR in free agency and draft a DE and LB with their first two picks in the draft.

    An Achilles tear is usually a career killer- look no further than Sam Cowart and Takeo Spikes. While Williams did not tear his, I now feel more concerend about his career that I did before I knew what type of procedure he had.

    Russ Brandon was GM and Tom Modrak was Director of College Scouting when Wood, Byrd, and Levitre were drafted. Dareus was a no brainer even the Bills could not screw up. I give you Willias because if he can stay healthy he looks like he can play. Sheppard would be a reserve on a good NFL team. And, I'd rather have Marshawn Lynch and a 1st round pick than CJ Spiller.

    Yes, with guys like Terrell Troup, Alex Carrington, and CJ Spiller that you can build your franchise around, Nix is doing a fine job building thru the draft.
