  1. Like I said, little in return.
  2. I remember watching Todd McShay questioning Lynch's maturity issues after the Bills drafted him. ESPN showed a clip of Lynch driving a golf cart on the football field after a Cal win and he nearly ran over fans that were running on the field to celebrate. I always like him as a player but he needs to grow up before he kills somebody. For those that are thumping their chest that Nix traded him, the Bills got little in return and Lynch basically single-handedly won the Seahawks a playoff game.
  3. Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was
  4. Slow down there buddy. I agree Byrd he has tremendous ball skills but his tackling while improved is still suspect. I expect he will have a good season if he can stay healthy. But let's not put in him Ed Reed's class who's a first ballot hall of famer. That's just being a delusional bills fan not seeing things objectively.
  5. ...because the 1900's era housing made of solid wood, stone, and brick that dominates most of the city has tremendous character and is incredibly beautiful. It could never be reproduced today.
  6. I have a Dell desktop computer about 8 months old that has a Windows 7 operating system. After using a couple of months two things deteriorate. The first occurs when streaming music/videos and playing my own videos off the hard drive. The sound becomes slow and slurred. After another 1-2 months the pointer from my mouse drags ridiculously slow and is inaccurate with no percision. Doing a system restore to factory settings has fixed the problem which has occured twice now and I expect will happen again. The Dell rep suggested I purchase "system mechanic" softwear to prevent temporary/unwanted files from slowing down my computer but eliminating these did not fix the program without doing a system restore. Any thoughts on what is happening and will the systemic mechanic (whatever that is) prevent it from happening again? Please keep your answers on a "computers for dummies" level. Thanks
  7. Great player. Always admired the way he conducted himself on and off the field.
  8. Agreed. Well put.
  9. If Tom Brady was a Buffalo Bill and brought us 3 superbowl titles, we would rename Delaware Ave to Tom Brady Memorial Drive.
  10. Especially now with old friend Mike Mularkey as there new head coach. Good luck Jax!
  11. I lived in midtown manhattan for a couple of years and know that area very well but don't really know the upper west side too well. Hotels are ridiculously expensive but my advice would be to stay as close to the hospital as you possibly can. Having a car in NYC is a liability. Street parking is a precious commodity/pain in the ass due to street cleaning and it will cost you about $30 per night to park in a garage. The best way for your pregant wife to get around is via cab which can be pricey. The public transportation system is fantastic including the subway but no way your pregnant wife will be walking up and down stairs that this requires including in the summer heat which can be stiffling. Hope this helped a little bit. Trust in your doctor and God...sounds like he's the best to help your daughter. As a fellow parent, happy father's day to you and I will pray for your daughter's speedy and complete recovery.
  12. Why do I have nighmares of him torching the Bills like Ted Ginn's career game did against a hobbled Terrence McGhee while rookie Leodis McKelvin was on the bench?
  13. Fred Jackson is the most important player on the team. We saw what happened last year after he got hurt. To me the tandem of K. Williams and M. Dareus is critical on defense. If these guys can occupy and penetrate between the center and guards, M. Williams should have 10-15 sacks.
  14. Let's not sugar coat things with the 4-3 scheme, our LB's look lousy. After 2 wasted years, don't expect anything from Merriman at this point either. I would have loved Keuchly from BC but he was gone when the Bills drafted. That said, you can't rebuild your entire team in one off-season. They addressed the D-line big time and got a highly rated CB. Expect upgrades at WR, LB, and probably QB next year. Rome was not built in a day but yes the LB's are a major area of concern.
  15. Interesting because I remember reading an article about him that he liked the city praising all the live theater the city offered.
  16. Thank you for sharing your experience. It's nice to see the players giving back to the community that supports them, and allows us fans to see the players as actual people.
  17. He canceled practice one day to take the Bills out to the movies when he was here. Still stikes me as just silly.
  18. Eric Moulds and Nate Clements always seems to have monster games against the Dolphins. It was a beautiful thing.
  19. Not a fan of Ronnie Jones eh?
  20. Your list is pretty good. It also gives me more optimism for the season because as the Bills are far from a finished product at this point, their competition also is flawed.
  21. I get it, especially this message board! My original question was has anyone heard about or used the "Smart 401K" website as they apparently look at the funds available from an employer and make specific recommendations on which funds to use based on one's age, assets, and risk tolerance.
  22. Thanks for trying to help everyone. I have about 20-25 years until I retire. I contribute the max 17k allowable to avoid taxes and get the full employee match. I also contribute to a 529 plan for kids college and cash reserve is good so I don't need to touch the 401K money. I generally have read 60% of my portfolio should be in stocks (30-40% domestic, 20-30% international), 30% in bonds, and 10% in fixed income. I currently am in a target fund offered by Fidelity (Fidelity Freedom Fund 2035). I have access to index funds (large blend, mid blend, foreign large blend) and actively managed funds (large, mid, small, value, growth, blend). I've been told to look at fund performance obviously, Moringstar ratings, and also how long the fund manager has been present. That said, I still haven't a clue on which funds to pick. Does it really matter which funds I pick as long as I diversify and the allocations get rebalanced over time?
  23. What do you tell a woman with two black eyes? Nothing, you already told her twice.
  24. That was a function of the Bills having superior talent around Kelly. This won't be popular but given the choice of Marino or Kelly, I'd take Marino in a heartbeat.
