He was a beast against the Jets monday night. The adjectives high motor and intelligent are ingrained to describe the white football player. Like black athletes can't play with intentensity or be smart, or white athletes can't be gifted athletically. It's asinine.
The O-line sucked before Gailey arrived. Now it's a strength. Jackson had some success under Jauron but has fluorished under Gailey. You can't tell me Fitzpatrick and Stevie Johnson are playing way beyond their potential. Fitzpatrick sucked as a back-up in Cinncy and Johnson couldn't get on the field before Gailey got here.
I will not waste my time or money going out to watch the game. I may stream some of it online for free or listen to a portion on the the radio if I have some downtime. No way I'm altering my sunday afternnon to watch lousy football.
The special teams under Dick Jauron and Bobby April were excellent. The offense was awful and boring.
The defense under Greg Williams was good. The offense sucked.
The offense under Chan Gailey is much improved. He's getting the most out of the limited talent he has to work with.
Why can't everything come together one friggin' time, dammit!
Pretty much agree with every point. The only way to fix the mess is new ownership. Ralph Wilson is a shell of his former self. He can no longer oversee and manage his franchise. Sell to a new owner who hopefully can keep the team in Buffalo. Either way it's time to change and move on because the way things are now the team will never win.
The Bills woes go way beyond the defensive scheme. The LB's and CB's suck. The safeties are average as is the over-rated D-line. The defense can't possible be as bad as it has been the past 2 weeks but let's not kid ourselves...they are mediocre at best
We have learned that the Bills are not a very good football team after 5 weeks. In fact, they are flat out terrible They are probably the worst team in the AFC East which is shocking to me. Play out the season then start over. The whole front office and coaching staff should be replaced. They have taken the "build within" appraoch and it has failed. Get new people in with new ideas and approaches. Things are stale and inept and have been for too long. PLAT IT OUT THEN BLOW IT UP!
He actually would be an outstanding #3 WR for a top receiving corps, a good # 2 WR for a good receiving corps, and a serviceable #1 WR for a below average receiving corps (which is his situation by the way).
"Unlike the Titanic, Palmer has said the new ship would have more safety features and air conditioning." What's the fun in that? I mean, why not go all out and make the hull out of paper mache and eliminate all the life preservers.
Vastly over-rated player that I have stated from the start, yet I liked the signing as it was a big need and gave us fans confidence the Bills are trying to win.
Disagree. Schobel was a great, underrated player. Williams is an average, over-rated player.
